941  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: September 24, 2018, 02:27:50 PM
Afternoon all, Sorry had a crazy busy morning, just catching up now.

@JollyGood I'm really sorry I haven't been able to confirm any info on the cookie situation yet and don't want to make any assumptions with my obvious lack of technical knowledge! Some of the team are away at the moment but I'm hoping to catch up with them regarding this issue and others in the next few days and will get you an update as soon as possible.

@marlboroza Sorry I haven't done much digging into the legal side myself, I was told all the information needed by players was to be found on our license page at Cloudbet.com. If you contact support@cloudbet.com with your questions they should have more information to hand than myself.

@skdistumbarg Thanks for getting in touch! I can definitely pass on your request for additional lines and matches for tennis betting. I know we have some big plans coming up that might be affecting what we are currently offering, but for now I'll have to keep it vague until I'm allowed to share more details Wink

In regards to the set wagering I will pass on your feedback to our sportsbook teams right away. I know we have set betting pre game on some of the ATP matches but I'm not certain which ones or why we offer it on some and not others - I'll try and find out for you.

I'll also check and see what information I'm allowed to share about our lines and how they are worked out for you.

Thanks very much,

Ronnie @ Cloudbet

942  Economy / Gambling discussion / NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers on: September 24, 2018, 01:46:56 PM
Afternoon all!

What are your predictions for tonight's game between the Buccs and Steelers?

I've just sat down with our sportsbook team to pick their brains for the best special lines in tonight's clash:

- Ryan Fitzpatrick “FitzMagic” has already thrown 8 TDs in his opening two games against the Eagles (4TDs) and Saints (4TDs)

Ryan Fitzpatrick (Touchdown Passes) Over 1.5 @ (1.64)

- DeSean Jackson has racked up 275 receiving yards in the Buccs two season openers.

DeSean Jackson (Receiving Yards) Over 55.5 @ (1.89)

- As star running back Le’Veon Bell continues to hold out for a long term contract, backup James Conner has stepped up with 3 rushing TDs.

James Conner (Rushing Touchdowns) Over 0.5 @ (1.89)

- Analyst’s have been critical of Antonio Brown’s production this season, averaging just 80 Yards/Game.

Antonio Brown (Receiving Yards) Over 103.5 @ (1.86) or Under 103.5 @ (1.86)

Personally I'm going with Steelers to beat the spread because I'm a glutton for punishment! They are 1-8 against the spread in their last 9 games so it's about time they stepped up  Wink

You can find all our odds for upcoming NFL games here. Have a great day!

@JollyGood Apologies, I might have misunderstood the question about cookies. I’ll go back and clarify now but I know we do comply with Right of Erasure.

944  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: September 21, 2018, 10:49:55 AM
@slaman29 Thanks for the kind words! I don't mind the questions, happy to be as transparent as possible and I like a good forum debate Smiley

@JollyGood I just got a response regarding the cookies - apparently we don't currently use them so the notification isn't required. I'll ask that if we do start using them that a warning is included as standard when visiting the site.

Thanks,

Ronnie @ Cloudbet
945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino gambler reveals 'secret no-lose betting pattern' :o on: September 21, 2018, 09:21:20 AM
Definitely an interesting read, but I feel like if you had a guaranteed winning strategy you'd be keeping it under wraps!

If anyone is interested in trying the strategy out you can use our free-play roulette table game to test  Wink

I'll check it out over lunch to see if it makes me a free credit millionaire!

946  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: September 21, 2018, 08:46:35 AM
Morning all!

@JollyGood I understand, it would definitely make sense to update the rules to include those terms - I'll draft an amendment and pass it on up the chain for approval. We are GDPR compliant, are you suggesting we should have this displayed on site? If so i'll pass the request along for the website team. I'll also check with them regarding the cookie notifications as it's not really my area of expertise, but thanks very much for the heads up!

Players from the US are unable to use our service, and are blocked and notified of this when attempting to create an account. I'll pass on the feedback about making this more visible when initially visiting the site though.

@marlboroza The red flag was that the money could be being 'cleaned' by depositing and withdrawing without play-through, the amount wasn't relevant when the KYC request was made as it is a blanket rule that would apply to any amount. Thankfully the amount in question was small with little risk of ML, which is probably why senior management decided to issue the funds after investigation.

The minimum stakes for most of our sporting lines are 0.0001 BTC, however there are some specific lines where the minimum stake is slightly higher. The player deposited with enough to make stakes on regular events but unfortunately the line they wanted to place had a higher minimum stake, which is why they then requested the withdrawal.

I've made a request that a check box or link to the T&Cs be added to the sign up page based on this discussion, i'll post when the devs have checked the ticket but obviously can't make any promises on a timeframe for implementation just yet.

Our license provider is E Gambling Montenegro and you can find details on our license page.

@slaman29 You definitely make a good point about KYC rules being more visible, and as i have said to @JollyGood above I'll draft some changes to the rules to include the terms and pass them up for approval - I'm sure anything I suggest will have to be checked over by our legal team before going live!

Thanks,

Ronnie @ Cloudbet

Afternoon all! Sorry for the delayed responses, I was out yesterday unexpectedly and wasn't able to arrange cover at the last minute.

@teteczv Our investigations look at betting irregularity, but unfortunately I cannot talk about specifics. If you contact our support team directly they can update you with any new information. As far as I know you are not being accused of anything, but we need to investigate some apparent - we are simply raising a flag rather than pointing a finger.

@JollyGood

Quote
There is no information about what happens to withheld funds. Please explain.

In cases like the above funds are held in the player's account until an investigation is concluded, at which point they are either unlocked for withdrawal or reclaimed in cases where a player has deliberately broken our rules.

Quote
There is no information about what makes you selectively freeze funds. Please explain.

As stated before, the only time funds are frozen is when there is proof of deliberate rule breaking. I'll discuss with our support teams how we can make this clearer on site, but our rules are there for everyone to see before signing up to Cloudbet.

There is no information about which legal jurisdiction you deal with and expect your customers to deal with. Please explain.

Quote
In which country/city is CB Holdings registered?

Quote
What is the full address of CB Holdings? Is it just a mailing address or is there an actual office with staff working there?

Quote
Who are the owners and shareholders of CB Holdings?

We clearly state our Terms and Conditions and where our license is held. Unfortunately, I have no further information beyond what is provided on that page. You can contact E Gambling Montenegro directly for information or dispute resolution if you ever have cause for complaint.

@slaman29 Thanks for stopping by! At the moment we only request KYC when certain flags have been raised. We try to avoid it wherever possible as we know anonymity is very important to some of our players, and I suspect that KYC for all new players on sign up would drive a lot of people away. It's something I'm happy to pass on as feedback to the team though, as I know the topic comes up for discussion regularly.

@marlboroza You make a very good point about agreeing to T&Cs at sign up. The paragraph below covers agreement to T&Cs, but I'll pass the suggestion to our website team about making that more explicit on the sign up form:

"By using and/or visiting any part, page or section of the website Cloudbet.com (the “Website”), and/or opening an account with Cloudbet, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and are deemed to have accepted and understood all of the Terms and Conditions."

In regards to the KYC jurisdiction, I received a response from support yesterday but was out of the office - "AML is not really specific to a jurisdiction, we have our own internal best practice policy which dictates the process we follow. We obviously follow the rules laid out by our license provider and ADR and mirror these in other territories as part of our dedication to being a responsible gambling operator."

Thanks very much,

Ronnie @ Cloudbet
948  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Sportsbook and Casino | Bet with BTC and BCH | 100% Deposit Bonus on: September 17, 2018, 02:57:51 PM
@4x4et As we have said multiple times before, there is no benefit to a Casino or Sportsbook refusing payments to legitimate players. It makes zero sense from a community and company perspective. You have been told exactly why KYC was requested in your case, and your $20 withdrawal was paid out after I escalated the situation to senior management.

@JollyGood The issue being referenced was addressed further back in the thread. The user had deposited then tried to withdraw without playing through any funds. To comply with AML laws we have to request ID. Any information we receive is kept for our own account security purposes and never disclosed to a third party. We also comply with all data removal requests as standard.

The other user has had their account frozen while an investigation takes place into betting integrity. Unfortunately i'm unable to comment on the ongoing investigation on public forums as it would be unfair on the players and a potential breach of data handling laws, but I am already in contact with the player via PM and will provide updates where possible.

We were one of the first crypto Casino and Sportsbook operators out there, and have had a huge number of very happy customers since 2013. Reading back through this thread should show the lengths we are prepared to go to to help out with customer issues.

If you have any questions I'll be happy to answer, publicly or via PM.

Thanks very much,

Ronnie @ Cloudbet

@JollyGood I'm not sure what you mean by plugin sorry, could you provide more details?

If you mean where we get our odds from i'm not entirely sure myself, but I can speak with our sportsbook teams about it and see if that information is allowed to be shared publicly.

Thanks,

Ronnie @ Cloudbet

@LFC_Bitcoin Taking a break for now, the predictor was a good test for the competition format and prize pool.

I'm planning to run another one in the near future, hopefully for the later rounds of the FA cup or an EPL Christmas predictor in December - I'll have some news for you soon!  Smiley

I've just checked in with our sportsbook team (definitely not asking them for tips for myself Roll Eyes) and apparently we are seeing some action on the Tottenham v Liverpool game at the moment, specifically the anytime scorer markets for Harry Kane (2.19) and Mohamed Salah (2.20).

It's a shame the BTTS odds are a little low at the moment (1.60) as most articles I've read seem to be pushing goals over 2.5.

956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC FN 136: Hunt vs Oliynyk Info and Prediction Thread on: September 14, 2018, 10:50:30 AM
We actually have pretty good odds on the weekend's main card:

UFC: Fight Night 136

Outrights: Aleksei Oleinik (2.31) v Mark Hunt (1.62)
Rounds: Over 1.5 (1.91) Under 1.5 (1.86)

I'm pretty terrible when it comes to predictions and tips, but if I had to go with my heart it would be Oleinik (I always tend to side with the underdog) but head is saying Hunt. Over 1.5 seems to have some value too as I don't think we'll see an early KO.

@Spazzer Thanks for including us, the site looks great! Smiley

Just to correct a couple of things:

- We are based in Montenegro rather that Curacao
- I believe our affiliate scheme is set to 30% as a default

You can find more info on our Affiliate scheme here

Hi all, sorry for the slow response, for some reason this thread wasn't showing up in my usual searches.

Sorry to hear you’re not having much luck getting those conversions. If you can email affiliates@cloudbet.com with your affiliate id and links to where you are promoting Cloudbet our Affiliate team will be happy to take a closer look at that for you and suggest any improvements that could be made.

We have a number of ways we can help our affiliates from high converting landing pages and creatives to content that explains how to bet with bitcoin. We even have a new Youtube video for how to deposit that might be helpful in converting fiat gamblers to crypto.

I have a huge amount of respect for our affiliates. Its a tough job that requires a lot of hard work to get set up, but the returns can be very nice if you manage to pull in a couple of high rollers. Cloudbet offers lifetime commission on referred players with a default 30% revenue share (there's different options available), so with a decent group of sign ups you can make fair bit of coin.

If you have any further questions then please feel free to drop me a PM here, post on our Cloudbet thread, or send a tweet @Cloudbet on Twitter - I'll respond as soon as possible.

Thanks,

Ronnie @ Cloudbet
