in teory yes.
in the mining program use option to specify withc gpu to use.

Do remember to factor this into hardware purchases!

I said, last year, the slowdown in rewards (slowing average block times) would start in April 2017 and it did start in April 2017.

14seconds to 14.3seconds average block time before April 8th.

Afterwards, slowed to around 14.8 seconds.

27th April slowed to around 15.2 seconds.

13th May slowed to around 15.85 seconds.

29 May slowed to over 16 seconds.

21 June slowed to over 17 seconds.

So far - there has been around 21.8% reduction of Ethereum rewards for POW.

Go with the 750W or 850W EVGA G2/P2 instead of a 650W. The cost difference between the two is less than $50. The 650W only has two VGA connectors while the 750W has four and the 850W has four 8-pin + two 6-pin pigtail cables. The PSU will also run more efficiently using less of the maximum capacity.

already tried to switch risers, checked all GPU, everything is fine with hardware...

-nofee is the only solution. I think your card does not have enough memory.

-nofee is not fair to you also. Your rig will hash 9 to 10% slower with this option as Claymore disables features that optimize hashing speed. You hash much slower with the -nofee option.

If you really care about Claymore you can transfer 1% of your earnings manually at the end of every week

it's not that much slower,  with fee on it's like 139 mh/s, and with nofee is 133-134  mh/s

so it's not that bad, but i will definitely try another mining software because I cannot solve this

That is almost a 5% reduction in hashing speed. In tests I did I got 9.5% less hashing speed with the -nofee option. When you mine other ethash coins it has to create new dags for the gpus so the devfee can mine ETH, then when it is done is to create new dags for the ethash coins you were mining.

do you have any ideas how to overcome Polaris hashrate drop for epoch >129 ?

Genoil said that DAG now took 100% of first memory bank (2gb) and go to second memory bank, so access two banks instead of one leads significant hashrate drop.

Do you make any research in this direction, or it is hopeless? What you think, any comments?

I have this probleme with 8g rx 480 hash drop every new dag epoche on ethereum and ethereum classic

Minergate miner say with her laste version we do not loss effective Hashrate see here;

From the description I understood that now they generate DAG on GPU too. So it is not related to this issue.

I see the speed drop. I checked possible workarounds, at least for Polaris, they failed. So probably this hashrate drop cannot be fixed, at least on miner software level.

Do you know if there are other solutions to this problem? Can this be fixed with a driver-update by AMD?

I already deactivaded the win defender, dont know why this is happening.

I made a bat file for tihs. it is started via sheduler on saturday and on monday, so I mine monday to friday to one wallet, weekends to another one.
main.txt contains one pool config, safe.txt second config for saturday and sunday (theese files must contain last string empty!)
settings.txt - general miner settings
logdir - your miner path
when started, it detects a weekday and generates config.txt by merging appropriate pool settings and the rest of it

Copy your .bat file to Claymore directory
Press WIN+R, type: cmd, press ENTER, command prompt should open
Type: cd PATH_TO_CLAYMORE_MINER_DIRECTORY, press ENTER
Type the name of your .bat file and press ENTER, miner should start mining. If you see an error copy/paste it here. PM me if need more help.

Hey guys, noob here, I just set up my first rig with ubuntu. Claymore is starting and finds both test GPUs. But after a few minutes I get following error: miner thread hangs need to restart miner.

Is there any solution to this? what did I set up wrong?

Hey guys I've been mining eth+dcr successfully for 12h now (my very first try ever), and i get 14-15 Mh/s on Eth and 145 Mh/s with Dcr with a gtx 1060 3gb.

I pointed the miner to my eth wallet and the dcr to the suprnova pool but while i receive dcr (0,0010 dcr so far) i still see no fractions of eth, is it normal?

Can you share more information on your setup and any settings you may have altered? There's a few of us with the same card who are unable to get the hashrate you are getting.

Mining with Claymore and get full HDD (128GB SSD)  in half hour.
After checking find /var/log/syslog and kern.log  grown up to 52GB each.
System write this 4 messages about 4-5 thousands per second !

Anyway it doesnt bother mining and about logs you can turn then off:
as root execute this command and you will have no longer such problem systemctl disable rsyslog.service
then delete big file logs from /var/log/ adn reboot system, then it will work fine.

2 - Logs are disabled in claymore
