Do you guys recommend any specific drivers for 6xgtx1070 mining ethereum with claymore?
Using latest drivers but getting "error cannot read temperature".
Seen some people recommend 382.53 and 382.33, while the miner says to use Another version.

Why don't you stick to 372.54 which Claymore has tested and proven working?

I didnt even know 372.54 was recommended, thats why i am asking. Just want to know what most people use for these cards.
Claymore says -> "10xx cards in Windows 7 x64: just use latest 372.54 drivers from Nvidia website.
10xx cards in Windows 10 x64: just use latest 372.54 drivers from Nvidia website, note that you must have Win10 Anniversary update". And obviously most of the miners would be using what he has recommended  Smiley

is there a way to enable dual mining mode, without dual mining. This is to benefit from hashing performance without increasing power consumption

Is there a way to set up multiple wallets and pools in the base config of claymore dual without using the epools file?

Something along the lines of:

Claymore -epool POOL 1 -ewal WALLET for POOL 1 -esm 3 -epsw x -epool POOL 2 -ewal WALLET for POOL 2 -epsw x -esm 0

Would that hypothetically work?  I am wondering for setting up mining on nicehash when it is more profitable than simply mining ETH, but I am looking for a way without the use of the epools file.

So can anyone share their speed on a 560?

Im running 6 rx 560's

Before update:
globalmem 1150
globalcore 1775
dcri 38
------------------
~11.6MH/s Eth and ~220 MH/s Sia
-----------------------------------
-----------------------------------

After update:
globalmem 1150
globalcore 1775
dcri 20
------------------
~12.4 MH/s Eth and ~ 248 MH/s Sia
-----------------------------------
-----------------------------------

Ethos is now correctly showing my 560's

Thanks! Not too bad for those entry level cards.

IIRC dual mining mode has 2x larger dev fees;
You should try some of option to force mining intenstity (look in readme for it) or another kernell or so..

@Claymore - very grateful for improvements in EthManager. The last version is almost perfect for me.
I would like to make a suggestion - if it's possible and doable. Can you some how add in the 'Events' new one - for incorrect share (due to too much overclocking)? Maybe in some of the updates to come?

I am not even sure why this happen, but sometimes some rig starts to give way too much incorrect shares. And after a PC restart - all goes back to normal.

Am I the only one having problems with incorrect shares?!

Anybody got an increase in hashrate with 17.7.1 crimson drivers?

Looking especially at 470/570, 480/580 users. Please specify what memory do you have.

What made you think that there is hashing performance in dual mode? Please share the results of your tests.

Not for me, I got a ASUS 480 STRIX 8GB (samsung memory), memory clock default 2000 mhz, coreclock underclocked to 1211 mhz.

I think Claymore need to do more optimization, as the driver update did not bring any improvement on my end.

I can also add that I mine in ethereum only mode.

Best regards
Harry.

Hi

I've run into a bit of an issue. I downloaded Claymores dual miner v9.6 for windows. I got it running on windows 10 and was mining eth and Dec for nearly 24 hours with 2x 570 cards. I wanted to have a go at OCing the cards so I exited the miner.

A driver update came up so I updated them. I had a quick look into OC but it was late at night so thought would just turn the miner back on. I went to start the eth dec batch file however ended up getting an issue and couldn't start the miner. A message appeared stating Unsupported 16 bit Application every time tried starting miner.

I thought the issue might have been something to do with updating the drivers so i rolled back to the previous version. I tried starting the miner again but it would not start, just appear and disappear (stop) straight away. I haven't edited the batch file in anyway. I even deleted and redownloaded Claymore to see if would whelp but to no avail

I'm completely stumped as to what to do and was hoping someone could help shed some light on the situation and help get miner back up and running. Has anyone else had a similar problem?

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

P.S. I have an image of the message just not sure how to attach

To solve this very problem you can use systemd's template mechanism. You can find an approach on http://www.schakko.de/2017/07/12/running-multiple-claymore-miner-instances-with-different-wallets-and-gpus/, just copy&paste it and customize the script for your needs.
An easier solution would be to create a bash/bat script for each wallet. Please note, that you can only mine with miner on one GPU at the same time.

9.7 Results:
ASUS 1080ti - 2000mhz clock / 5200 memory

Eth: 30-31.5 mh/s
Dcr: 2250-2350 mh/s

Anyone else with a 1080ti have results to share?

I downloaded 9.7 claymore version. And it seems very unstable. Yes, it does increase my hashrate by 1MH/s but its failing my driver.
Im using 1060 at power 75% clock at 80 memory at 570.

Same settings I used before with older version of claymore.

Driver 372.7

Is it possible to use the claymore miner through nicehash on Nvidia cards?

THE ANSWER IS YES--

You will need to set "-allcoins 1" and to use the NiceHash stratum protocol.  I am mining both DaggerHashimoto and Decred at NiceHash with my nVidia cards just now.

The nVidia cards can tolerate high "-dcri" values with less loss of ETH hashrate.  I have "-dcri 75" in my configuration.  The hashrate of the secondary coin can be doubled from default.       --scryptr
