Anyone tried to call KNC today? I've been trying for the past 3 hours with over 15 attempts and nobody is answering.

If KNC actually had product in hand, ready to be shipped out I would almost give that a though for another Saturn or even a Jupiter, but they really need to lower their prices. Who's going to buy a 400Gh/s machine for $5000?
Good units are hitting about 550 gh/s. Some people receive lemons that end up hashing around 300-500 gh/s. Right now, there is hardly any competition on the 28NM process node - given that hashfash and cointerra have gone rogue.

KNC is the number 1 contrib to the Elgius pool. I don't know if i should feel good or bad about it.
Would be nice if they could shut down for a few days , dificulty jump comming. Hashrate of the network already going down for it on bitcoin watch. Looks like it's going to be 515k
If all the KNC's shut down for a couple days on eligius, after a diffchange, eligius would have the longest blocks in history, and you would surely loose more than if the KNC's were there... It's harder to find blocks after a change, thats why its actually called a "difficulty increase"....its harder, without that extra hashpower, it will take eternity. If you like blocks that take forever....try slush... the payments are bigger, but blocks are harder to find. That's just how pool size & difficulty works... Another note BAD RESULTS with 0.98.1 production... Big "Dwindledown" this time... going back to beta.... Anyone try the new Cklovas code?..

Dont worry, they will lower their prices, but only after people stop ordering. Why lowering prices when people willing pay for it 5 grand ?

after how many hours you notice the performance drop? I waited overnight... the 3 sats lost over 60Gh/s overnight.... The moment I re-loaded beta... back to the sky...

Used to be about 540-560GH/s on my hosted Jup. Now after the latest update, seems to now dropped to 490-500GH/s.
Kinda shitty. Needs for a way to opt in or out of firmware updates. They just seem to mass apply it to all hosted miners.
Agreed. On a side note, KNC Pool speed is currently 2.8TH/s.

To All and specially to Bitcoinorama. Today marks the beginning of my positive ROI after I sold the proceed of 29 days of mining (59 BTC with 2 Jup). My wife cannot complain anymore about that investment she does not really trust or understand. But starting now everything is mine (Pun intended). So I would like to congratulate my fellow miners with their wise decision and the luck that has come with the BTC sharp rise. Also, a well deserved KUDOS for Bitcoinorama. The time he spent inquiring about KNC and other companies in this forum has been just mesmerizing Now my expectations from KNC are very simple, they proved to our community they could deliver a product on time: A World Premier. Can they play the transparency card now??? Can they share with us the amount GH/s they sold??? I do not have to be a math genius to understand the premise of the current HASH WAR!!! The cake is not expending but the money invested in that new industry is. I really do not want to be a buy and hold BTC investors but the lack of clarity does not justify that kind of investment anymore. From that perspective, Crumbs has been so right it is not even funny. I do not want to be the thanksgiving turkey of our dear minermakers. KNC Do you hear me, we want more transparency!!!!

Consider yourself lucky then for not enduring a delay, because some of us did. 2 weeks can make a huge difference: you are making profit already and I'm at less than 10% of ROI.

My wife cannot complain anymore about that investment she does not really trust or understand. You might have broken even in $ terms, but that misses the point of the machines, and is the fallacy that keeps people buying all these ASIC machines (and stops wives complaining ) You paid around 120BTC until it gives you that many back it's not a good investement If you insist on thinking in $, if you hadn't bought the machines you'd now have $28,000.

That's a bit confusing... he would have about 28,800 - 14000 invested = 14800 profit. Same difference, it just may lead some people to the wrong conclusion.
