Hi All,
1st post so please go easy on me !
I have successfully managed to get a Monero miner up and running using 5 x Saphire RX580 Nitro+ 4GB Hynix memory.
Using all stock out of box settings they hash at 624 h/s
Im currently using ethos and using globalmem at 2160 and globalcor at 1215 with powertune set to 3, and globalfan set to 45, I have them hashing at 670 h/s running with the included sgminer-GM at 40 degrees.
My question is, is it worth me rebuilding the rig running windows to try and increase this hash rate? What sort of h/s do people think is achievable with these cards?
Currently my rig is pulling between 530 and 545 watts at the wall.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Pretty good stock hashrates... and very good wattage! Well my RX 480 has 840H/s with Samsung memory on XMR-STAK almost same RX 470 with Elpida. What is interesting that RX 470 with Samsung has 870H/s  it could be alsmot 900H/s but it's not stable. I will test hashrates with SGminer next week. SGminer should have little bit better hashrates, but I like XMR-STAK web stats. You can use modded bios on ethos, only voltage in bios shouldn't be changed, but performance timings will work for sure. You better use Windows for flashing card or usb flash drive with atiflash. |

HI, i just started to mine ethereum. My card is Sapphire rx 480 4gb non plus with Elpida memory. the problem is, i cant overclock my memory beyond 1850(185x-1875 im having gpu errors and at 1900 its crashing). So im currently mining at 22mhs in claymores dual miner at stock bios and clocks and 25mhs when 1500timing strapped. Is it really my maximum memory OC? Ive been searching so long. Pls help me

With 1500Mhz strap seem so. You need performance timings not these straps. |

Nvidia cards no need bios mod... 1060 3gb they do 23.5 just with msi afterburner set tpd 60% core 145/150 memory 950/975 Power consumption to the wall 80w |

Another Happy Customer Thanks Mattthev Took a bit of messing around jumping from ethos to windows and back to ethos, but after applying Matthev's timings I am now looking stable with 5 RX 580 cards hashing Monero at 836h/s for 3 of them and 849h/s for the other 2. My fans are at 55% and temps are steady around 40 to 44 C. Power at the wall is now hovering between 694 and 702 watts. I will report back in the morning. Looking forward to the arrival of a replacement RX580 for a faulty one, and also the arrival of a couple of other RX 580's I managed to snaffle off ebay before they all vanished ! Thanks dgs2001 |

Did you check for memory errors? I would say you pushed OC too much or voltages are too low. If any trouble write on my e-mail, faster support! |

Currently got a rig with an HD7970 and a RX480. How can I use Polaris Bios Editor to only mod one of the cards ? Is there an option which allows you to select which GPU you want to modify ?

Yes. Save bios with Atiwinflash and edit it in Polaris Bios Editor. |

Thx for pointing that out. It's not the first time this happened though, got other pm's from other people with a similar story.. Doesn't matter, i know some of my timings get resold too, i don't mind. That just happens and nothing i can do to stop it. But selling things i gave out freely, that's low.. Oh well  Edit: Just checked the OP, someone who uses the GUI of atiflash (don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with it) and selling custom timings.. nahhh :p |

[It's ok No worries! Oh sorry I don't know it's yours I've got it from other source... I've have lot's of for Hynix and Elpida I'm picking them randomly. This one is best, so I'm choosing it mostly, my own is unstable on lot of cards with clocks more than 2020. I'll PM you send me your wallet I will donate you. I've bought this timing on RU forum while ago seems like it's not theirs too |
