currious would like to know the answer as well. Could it be he also has a solo rig and this is reporting a chain found that way?

currious would like to know the answer as well. Could it be he also has a solo rig and this is reporting a chain found that way? I think someone might be faking the slush "signature". I'm not wholly certain how who mines what block is assigned, but have a look at the coinbase: 237246: /P2SH/QR464d/slush/ 237270: ֞/P2SH/Q 549bf/slush/ 237278: ޞM/slush/R,mmY#4dO g@?J-_h1qs Additionally, the payout address usually used is 1AqTMY, but the questionable block is 152MGP. Again, I don't know exactly what's going on here but I see a broken pattern.

Namecoin only works on getwork and the getwork of the pool is only 2-3% of total power. Don't expect anything for days.

False. Your namecoin miner does nothing in slush's pool. I've been mining for about the same amount of time and I have .5 NMC. Current NMC round is 1 day, 19:07:35. Like I said, it's getwork only and using stratum means you are not participating in the mining of a NMC block. And paying the 10% fee to use getwork is more loss than you will ever gain via namecoin.

All you need is an active Namecoin wallet listed on your account page, and you will be credited with namecoins as-and-when they are found by the 2% still running Getwork. I am 100% sure this is how it works, as both my workers are on Stratum, and I still get Namecoins credited to me when they are found.
If you don't have a Namecoin wallet listed, then you aren't credited any Namecoins. Simple as.

Since the pool is almost entirely moved over to stratum, namecoins are generated very infrequently. However, anyone with a namecoin address associated with their account will get paid namecoins based on their score in the next bitcoin block that is found. When namecoins are mined by a getwork user, the payout is distributed by bitcoin round score to all miners with a namecoin address, not just those on getwork. Hope that was clearer.

You can trade them on the exchanges and also use them to buy domain names. It's really not worth running a miner on getwork just to get the NMC.

if the block is still going through the 100 confirmations, the volume you receive (should) correct its self. Mine said none, at first, then after a couple of confirmations, reset its self to 0.003BTC
Give it time. If it fails to come back at the end of the confirmations, post again about it, and Slush will probably look into it.

In case you missed the update on the pool webpage:
"21.05.2013 Bug in bitcoind caused many invalid blocks generated in recent hours. Thanks to cooperation with bitcoin developers, a bugfix has been deployed. Pool is now back in normal operation."

I noticed every once in a while (like the last block) there will be almost 10BTC worth of transfer fees! I think it's awesome but does anyone know why that happens? a typo when someone did a transfer? or are people just being very nice to miners
