What I get with 0.5.7:
Pretty poor Share-rate!
How about you read just 2 post above yours
, seriously you are blind or just plain lazy/dumb
So does 0.5.7 earn no less than 0.5.6? That's for sure? I did not understand why the algorithm changed, which establishes the complexity of the pool?
Lemme give you an analogy with construction workers.
Worker 1 and Worker 2, have the same work speed, same mortars and bricks at their disposal. (hash power and algorithm)
The workmaster (mining pool) tell worker 1 and 2 they have to build walls (shares), but he want worker 1 to build small 10x bricks walls (share difficulty), and worker 2 to build big 100x bricks walls (share difficulty). The workmaster (mining pool) will pay them each time they complete a wall (share) as a basis of 1 bricks = 1$ (share submitting)
So worker 1 working @ 10x bricks per minute will complete a 10x bricks wall per minute, so he will earn 1$ per brick x 10 = 10$ per minute
now
Worker 2 is working @ 10x bricks per minute, and will complete a 100x bricks wall every 10 minutes , so he will earn 1$ per brick x 100 = 100$ every 10 minutes.
And to complete the analogy, if the workmaster monitor the work (pool statistics) and only count by 1 wall (share) achieved, and check the work every 5minutes, worker 1 will have 5x wall (share) done after 5mn where worker 2 will have only 0.5x wall done in the same timeframe. Hence the statistics being somewhat odd on some pools because you would have to wait a long time to get accurate stats with a very slow share submitting
So work speed is the same, earning is the same. Hope you understand better now with this analogy, it's not 100% accurate but you get the gist of it
In addition, if you want more walls done (share count), you can tell the workmaster (mining pool) to ask you to build 20x bricks wall (difficulty), but not all workmaster (mining pool) will accept or has the setting to do so.
When optimizing for efficiency I seem to get around 362 Sol/s and 2.24 Sol/W, however electricity costs aren't a concern for me at the moment.
Just looking wondering if these numbers seem acceptable for the card, appreciate the help in advance.
If electricity cost isn't an issue, just go for the maximum Sol/s amount, seems pretty good already for this card.
