It is debateable if this one, EBWF, or BMiner is "the fastest" - seems to depend a lot on specific cards and settings ON each card.
This one SEEMS to do better on the "lower end" Nvidia cards like the 1060 and 1070, EBWF seems to do better on the 1080 ti, the middle is a muddle.

Has DSTM gotten bored with this project? He was super interactive and involved early in the thread, but his postrate has dropped significantly.

Holiday vacation, perhaps?

ZCASH:
OS: Windows
CPU: 2700k not really relevant.
GPU: Reference NV GTX 980
Solutions in NHEQminer: 160-210/s
Solutions in ZM including dev fee: 240-260/s

Original NHEQminer is running for last couple of days, this one is just being tested with slush pool.

What I like:
 + Clear command line options
+ Setup is easy by running a single line command batch
+ Performace increase over open source miner NHEQminer (Well worth the 2%)
+ Better handling on user demands during mining (Mining and general tasks at the same time)

What I dont like:
 - Forum like distribution
 - Clear changelog and version tracking should be included in the release.
 - Dev fee should be stated clearly in the README, not just how much, but which pool and which user. (I do not want to track it in firewall and then enable it.)
 - Issue tracking should not be on a forum, this is not 2003.

Overall the last thing is visibility as slush pool does not include it in FAQ and generally I have not seen this miner until mining for couple of weeks.

Found the probable reason this has lower scores than the EWBF miner. Turns out it does not trigger 3D mode on your card, which disables OC and Boost.
You can replicate that by running Media Player Classic in Enhanced Video Renderer mode and even minimizing the paused video.
I got between 30 and 50 extra Sol/s

Hello, I just want to ask. Can I set dstm's miner to mine on NanoPool? If so how .bat file should look like? Smiley

with the 2% non-disableable dev fee, he's probably at the Lambo dealer right now, picking the right colors to so that last months Labo's match next month's delivery.

hey guys, seems like some sols/s dropped, on some cards, when I connect to my rig via Chrome Remote Desktop so, any suggest to not losing hashrate when I'm checking? or it's normal Shocked

Nah... He just made this available last July. Not enough time yet to ramp up that much. Next Christmas he'll get a new Lexus or BMW, then a year or two after that will come the Lambo. Grin

Short status update:

I'm currently working on 0.6. It will contain most notable failover pool support. I had much less time than expected for it last week, I'm expecting to release 0.6 during the next 1-2 weeks. I'll go trough/answer all your new requests/questions in the next 1-2 days, sorry for the slight delay.

Yeah, that's why I have to run Chrome to get maximum speed. It somehow triggers 3D mode, which triggers nVidia Boost mode and apply all additional overclockings. Before I thought it is problem of my card or Gainward ExpertTool software, but today I installed new PC with my new EVGA GTX 1070 Ti, fresh Windows 10, latest drivers, latest DSTM, MSI Afterburner used for overclocking and yet even here I have to run Chrome to get maximum speed. Without Chrome I'm getting 450 Sol/s, with Chrome running, I can get up to 540 Sol/s (card is overclocked of course).

Miner works great!  One question, is it possible to append worker id's or email addresses to the ZEC address.  For example, on nanopool I like to track each individual worker and using an email I can track when my miner goes offline.  Here is an example of how other miners do this

walletaddress.workername/emailaddress

Thanks!

Nah, that was Claymore a year or two back.

This year I think he was shopping for a Malibu beach-front home - or was it Santa Fe Springs?

You can append a worker address, by going walletaddress.workername as usual.

I can't speak to appending an email address as I've never worked with a pool that wants that.

You've got something WIERD going on if you have to run Chrome to get max hashrate - perhaps you don't have Afterburner set to run at startup, or something else is interfering?

Yeah, I don't get that at all. As soon as I apply the overclock settings in Afterburner, I see the increase Sol/s in the miner. No need to run anything else.

IDK what your on about, just did a performance test with a 3d app, (put everything on lowest settings) and i dropped 80 sols. To me it looks like it is already using 3d capabilities.

The lack of market support is the reason I'm not bothering with ZEN, even though I get higher share rates in the miner and What to Mine shows it being a little more profitable than ZEC.
*quoting self*

So, I looked into it some more and decided to take the plunge and registered at Cryptopia to be able to trade ZEN (being so new I'm still very apprehensive about some of these exchanges).

Definitely get higher share rates with ZEN/Supernova vs. ZEC/flypool. Don't know if that's just the difference in difficulty or the pool itself, but it looks to be a little more profitable even on my entry level 1050 Ti x2 "rig."

Still seeing Sol/W: 0.00, though... just to remind you, dstm, if you're looking into that.

Thanks for the update!  Works great here.  48hr and still going.

...edit.. Information update,. not an actual update.. yet.  Current version still running great.

I'd like an automatic memory management so it doesn't crash when getting too hot.
