One of the best softwares out there. are we ever going to get this pinned so people done have to hunt for it? or are we just done working on making the forum easy to navigate to find the most useful information first?

I have been seeing a lot of these errors after the update to 2.1.2

Nothing really related to 2.1. Occasionally the CoinChoose API has invalid JSON data. The 405 accessing MobileMiner will happen occasionally when the API is throttling calls. The 500 occurs when Azure is having - well - issues.

Thanks for reporting it though!

Thanks for the info

Have another issue:
The MobileMiner app is only reporting 2 of three miners as well and giving the wrong speeds at any given time.

The MobileMiner app is only reporting 2 of three miners as well and giving the wrong speeds at any given time.

Can you install Fiddler2 on the PCs you are having a problem with and disable HTTPS for MobileMiner in the MultiMiner settings and then get in touch with me via the email address in my signature? Thanks!

Having a difficult time with bfgminer it seems. Looking for some suggestions/answers... been using this app for about a week now and haven't had any issues, but it seems like after checking my pools today my hashrate (for example checking my WDC pool) is only getting registered at 435kh/s, but in MultiMiner it shows a constant ~700kh/s.

I'm not getting any hardware errors and the Accepted/Rejected ratio seems about normal.

If I start up my cgminer bat file (with the exact same parameters i'm passing to bfgminer in MultiMiner) and wait a few minutes, my WDC pool shows my hashrate to be 650-700kh/s.

Any idea what I can tweak and where?

Hopefully others can give some decent suggestions. I've not run into this problem myself. You may want to try the bfgminer thread though as well:

Hello, I have a question about setting up multiminer. I'm using multipool.us so it'll automatically mine the best coin based on profitability. But are these two factors redundant? I like the way multiminer is setup and how user-friendly its interface is but while setting up the coin configuration I'm not sure which coin to choose. Does the coin I choose have any influence over what is actually being mined and are the statistics multiminer starts to give me accurate? Is there a Multi-Coin option in multiminer and a way for the program to display the statistics multipool.us is giving me? I'm very new to this so any help would be appreciated Smiley

Hi!

I'm trying to run multiminer, and it will not detect adny devices. not my radeon 5850 card, nor my q6700 intel cpu.
I tried scanning hardware several times, but no luck.

Please help!

I was interested in doing something similar, but I'm not sure if it's entirely possible with the software.  What I ended up doing was defining "litecoin" to point to hashco.ws, which is kind of similar to what you want to do.

Now I believe this means that if you want your miner to always point to multipool, that you can't have auto-switch strategies enabled.  Perhaps an awesome addition for a newer version of the software would be to allow activation of coin switching for specific miners:  for example, if you want your GPU to always point to hashco.ws, but you want your asics to jump around to mining the best 256 coin.

Totally a hypothetical situation, and not at all what I would personally do. >_>  currently I'm single-mining hashco.ws and peercoin so that my gpu always points to hashco.ws.

EDIT:  Also, for multipool, you could point to any of their individual pools instead of the multipool, and use multiminer to do the switching on your behalf.  That being said, I wouldn't recommend it: multipool is a PPLNS pool, so pool hopping that doesn't mirror the website's hopping would end you up with a lot of wasted shares.

I tried scanning hardware several times, but no luck.

You will need to recompile bfgminer to enable CPU mining. As for the GPU, ensure you have the AMD/ATI display drivers installed (linked to in the original post).

Hi,
After using last version, I realice that the multiminer after stoping the minning program uninstall or brocke my catalyst, after this
I could not start mining againg.
I do also saw that I could not read the temperature even in the phone or in the multiminer.

Is there any solution??
I will try to reinstall all drivers and trying using other version
Any suggestion??

BFGminer works great for cpumining in cgwatcher. Also, what does it have to do with it? multiminer should detect my card regardless. and my drivers are working great mining both with cgminer and bfgminer.

Any other ideas?

thanks

I don't use cgwatcher so I cannot help you there. I can tell you that neither cgminer nor bfgminer come with CPU mining compiled in. You'll need to compile a copy yourself to enable it.

multiminer should detect my card regardless. and my drivers are working great mining both with cgminer and bfgminer.

MultiMiner is a UI for bfgminer. If bfgminer recognizes your GPU then MultiMiner should as well. Please run the following command from the command prompt in the MultiMiner\miners\bfgminer folder:

Code:
bfgminer -d? -S opencl:auto

And copy/paste the results back here.

The GPU should show in MultiMiner then. You don't have GPU mining disabled in the Advanced settings in MultiMiner do you?

You don't have GPU mining disabled in the Advanced settings in MultiMiner do you? Please check this setting.

I have tested your output from bfgminer in my unit tests and they return 1 device so everything should be working (as long as you have not disabled GPU mining).

If you still need help please contact me via email (it's in my sig).

Forgive me if this is obvious and i've missed it, but how do I set separate worker username/password for each GPU on the same pool?
