Where do I get OpenCL.dll, How do I open THAT and then where does it go?

Can't somebody write a frickin download that will do that automatically?
Why isn't it in the miner to begin with?

Is this 1993 or what?

OpenCL.dll is vendor specific, you need to get it from the AMD drivers and APP SDK

For anyone interested, I forked guiminer to make one for litecoin.  Link is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=150331.0

1.  I down loaded

Download latest version (Windows):
  guiminer-20121203.exe (self-extracting archive)

NP the programs seems to be working.

2.  My Video card is a XFX black edition 7970
MSI afterburner only allows me to modify Fan speed
AMD Catalyst seems to work fine.

I've tried various flags.
I believe I'm using phatk2.  I do not know for sure.
Nor do I know how to tell.

3.  The problem is my GUI miner seems to work fine for about 20 mins then goes from 500+Mhash down to Khash.  Yet once it drops I don't seem to be generating nothing.  Like the system is still running my miner but I have 0 GPU activity at that point.  If I cklick stop mining then start again everything is fine for another 20 mins.  Problem does not seem to be in my flags.  I think it's a program issue of some type.

I have a very basic system other than the video card and 950W Power supply.
Running Windows 7

Can someone help me so I can get this figured out.  I have been all over the forum trying to find answers and I have been trying different flags for the last 2 day's.  However, same thing does not matter what flag I use I get the same results the miner continues but the GPU activity stops.

BTW If you send me a personal message I will be able to read it but not sure if I can respond because I may not have enough posts.

Thanks to anyone that will help.  BTW I don't have much but I can try to donate some amount of BC

I'm having the same problem as the guy above me. I was mining fine until I added a third card. now after 10 minutes of mining i drop into the k/hashes from 1 G/hash and eventually I get plain old 'connection problems' and the only solution is restarting the miner. It's also not accepting any shares or stales and deepbit doesn't show that I'm mining at all. Help please?

First off, thanks for the miner.

Ok, when i start the program I can mine fine for a couple of hours; then I get connections problems.  Happens about every four to five hours.

There seems to be an issue with XP 64 (and probably XP 32 too) regarding setting the data path. Bitcoin's data path on XP is by default C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Bitcoin, and when that path is selected in the options the program is trimming the path string on the first space character and looking for the data in C:\Documents, which causes an error.

on the fist page you have older versions. For me it works on 7 x64.

EDIT: It looks, the new version 2012-12-03 works for now ok. I uninstall sdk 2.7 and CCC 12.8 and install again sdk 2.5 and ccc 13.1.
Before Mhash on gpus was dropping after some time. Lets give it some time.

I'm getting all the same issues.  And i'm using deepbit.  I wonder if it has something to do with them?  I'm mining on two win7 x86 machines.  One win7 x64 machine and one mac.  Guiminer on all of them and the mac is the only one not having the issue.

Please help me I'm going crazy here. I have about $1000 worth of GPU and PSU to install but I dont want to do any of that until I know everything is going to work.

Thank you so much,
Jon

I'm getting all the same issues.  And i'm using deepbit.  I wonder if it has something to do with them?  I'm mining on two win7 x86 machines.  One win7 x64 machine and one mac.  Guiminer on all of them and the mac is the only one not having the issue.

The miner won't even open now on my PC. I deleted it and downloaded it again and I click the icon to open the miner and nothing happens. So I have no clue what's goin on.
