EDIT: BTW, there is an arbitrage opportunity between hitbtc and Polo. I do not exploit it but if someone is interested and trusts on both exchanges, feel free to take a few "free coins".

I scooped up a good little percent or two of my stash playing Arbitrage at HitBTC<->Poloniex.

But I had so many problems with withdrawals I finally quit doing business there.

I don't know if it is any better now.

Nice to hear that you made some coins.
Now looks like the best way to buy Moneros is to waite a dumps or flash crashes.
The market is pretty dry above 0.002 so if one wants to get coins cheaply a good way to actually get a few (in this strategy you get perhaps a few hundred per day only) is to put a buy order(s) around 2 % below the spot and take the flashcrashes and also it gives markets to Monero.
Selling...? I think now it is not time to sell any coins as the uptrend seems to be pretty early and immature.

What I've noticed from the forum (trolling and bashing) and also Polo trollbox that pretty many are Monero bears immediately it starts to rise.  Grin Which is a good sign since you need just enough bears to trigger bigger buys - however, I think they are not convinced yet this is an uptrend.
The longer it takes to realize a bull trend the higher is the opportunity cost. And in bull markets the opportunity cost tends to grow each day you live in ignorance.

2% isn't a flashcrash, just low liquidity.

Something like what happened on BTC-e was a flashcrash, even though there have been way worse in the past.

In case any of you are hoping Monero will make you rich so you can live a glamorous and different life, think again.

Look at risto, he made millions off of bitcoin and bought a castle.  What does this visionary do with his spare time now that he's rich and (semi) famous?

Posts all the time on the Internet about cryptocurrency, just like the rest of us.   Wink

See?  In a way, you're *already* rich.   Grin

Please have a plan in mind other than just being rich and living happily ever after.  Also, practice saying 'No' a lot, because you're gonna have to say it a lot soon to many who would fleece you.

Also, make sure you get a good prenup going into any relationship that states she/(he?) forfeits any right to your cryptocurrency savings...  Unless you want to be the next "billion dollar divorce".

Not to derail this thread but AP, have you looked into MaidSAFE?

someone clearly wants price to stay down.
option B would be a whale slowly exiting, but i doubt that.
maybe only a good market buy can take this resistance down

Looks like the bigger buyers are sleeping now.
Only small a few coins at time.
On the other hand, there are pretty nice amount of coins available even until 0.0022.
If there is any bigger whale following and willing to enter into a position, now probably is a great moment since no other whales are buying.

Some big buys are wanted I guess.  Grin

Monero without action is boring now.
However, a good store of value is in slow rising trend and it is not too exciting.. I think Monero shouldn't be than boring state at these low prices though.

EDIT: Just my speculation: The dumpers might be very well those who have held open long positions for ages and now they are releasing them. Very good sign that they do it now and not when the price is higher.

When it comes to trolling Monero on btct [...] they try to speak the price down.

That is exactly you whenever you sold and want to buy back lower. You admitted it several times.

Don't force me to dig up all those posts to make it clear to all newbies. You might instead refrain from playing the honest guy and judging others, so we don't need to call you out every pages (you're posting your selfish greedy crap so often...) to remind all you are not an honest guy.

Monero's privacy and therefore fungibility are MUCH stronger than Bitcoin's.
This makes Monero a better candidate to deserve the term "digital cash".

No I am not behind the troll attack that Monero got during the past few days.
It was orchestrated by the Darkcoin folks.

I am honestly telling when I see the price goes up (and then I have bought coins) and then I am pretty honestly saying when I see the price goes down (and I have very little coins as a result of a major selling).
Actually, I am one of the most honest people here. Not acknowledging it is pretty dishonest IMO.

You're literally unreadable. Post utter tosh, got to go on ignore sorry.

Volume down on the larger time frames. Main bullish case is the 3d macd cross. Certainly no rush to make a trade. Very much wait and see territory for the speculators. I can't help but think only being on polo with their new rules really is an issue atm.

No I am not behind the troll attack that Monero got during the past few days.
I know you are not, and never implied so.

It was orchestrated by the Darkcoin folks.
You don't know that. You're annoying partly because you always state every assumptions like it is absolute truth. Good example.
(which would be acceptable btw if you weren't asserting contradictory assumptions within the same week/day).

I am honestly telling when I see the price goes up (and then I have bought coins) and then I am pretty honestly saying when I see the price goes down (and I have very little coins as a result of a major selling).
Nobody accuses you to say what you see/think, that is perfectly ok.
What bothers me so much is that you change your speech from "Monero is doomed and will go to 0.0005" to "Monero will overcome Bitcoin", when the only thing that changed in between is that you bought/sold.

Actually, I am one of the most honest people here. Not acknowledging it is pretty dishonest IMO.
Now it becomes really funny. Will bookmark this one.

They definitely want to make xmr look bad but I dont know if they are paid. Some already have a vested interest in DASH they are desperate to protect

Yes probably.
Wether they are Darkcoin bagholders or hired by them. You can see easily it by their posting history. Many are writing on Darkcoin threads.
This shows me simply they are really afraid of the superiority of XMR.

Some of the stuff that has come out of the BCN sphere in the past had the appearance of paid work. As for the rest, it is hard to say how much is paid, how much is people talking their book, how much is tribalism, and how much is trolling.

Okay, I denominate you as my personal troll.

Your contributions here are self-serving and solely greedy.
I nomitate you as the exception that confirms the general behavior within the Monero community. You are the opposite of what Monero tries to be.

"Fuck the pump and dump, we are here to build something useful."
"Ah! And TrueCryptonaire is our exception."

I think there is a good chance XDN has paid newbie accounts right now. Most of their new supporters are brand new accounts and never ask about the emission schedule. Many still ask about mining despite the fact that mining rewards are miniscule at this point

DASH trolls are more obvious and less intelligent

I think BCN people (with 80% coin supply) mainly manipulate by trading amongst themselves
