1021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to take profits? on: August 03, 2022, 10:47:41 PM
~
That is where your actual strategy comes out. Another strategy would be taking it all out then investing either 90% or 50% of it to a cheaper coin so that you would at least not just end up breakeven at the average case scenario if not in the worst case scenario of getting losses instead.
What I did in my long-term holdings was take out the profits only and keep the initial going until I do not see it going anywhere soon.
1022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Early Adopters rich? on: August 03, 2022, 07:44:25 PM
~
If I was an early adopter of one, I am sure that I would not be able to get my profits regardless, lol as surely many wallets would not allow me to just get the cash out of it. I would imagine myself resorting to p2p trading, which might be a little......tedious in my area considering that there is little to no people here that uses Bitcoin.
1023  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you had the chance to meet Satoshi Nakamoto what would you ask? on: August 03, 2022, 07:41:40 PM
~
10/10 would ask the same actually. I am happy that I am not the only one thinking about that question. I would also would like to ask on "how does he feel about plenty of conspiracy theories regarding his identity and now that surely many of it would be debunked for sure?", lol.
Also the question of his thoughts about the IEOs, ICOs, STOs, etc.

Back then I was not aware that Telegram was like a popular platform for people that wanted to deal with crypto. I had a client recently, not in this forum, that noted me that Telegram was like mainly the communication medium of crypto investors. Telegram was like just another messaging platform for me just like Discord.

This forum is open for everyone that wanted to get their knowledge "pumped up" or just hanging out indeed.
1025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So we've gone from 1 meme coin to one hundred now ? on: August 02, 2022, 06:05:27 PM
~
Are you really sure about that, OP?
To newbies, I would not advise to do what OP said unless you do your proper research.
They're way risky of an investment if you would ask me and I would never ever bother dropping a single penny to it. I had that though back in the days to invest like in Doge, but good thing I did not.
I love memes, but I do not want to involve my money with those.
1026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptocurrencies eliminate the need for credit/debit cards in the future? on: August 02, 2022, 06:01:58 PM

Right now it has been going slow, but that might be in the front page of the media that we are seeing. Surely there would be unreported news that people adopting crypto, since people do not want authorities to interfere their business.
I would establish any small business as I wish at my home then just adopt crypto as an alternative if not primary payment method.
1027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ATH for ETH on: August 01, 2022, 10:45:11 PM
Well it is ETH. Let's see first in Bitcoin. I have not seen Bitcoin breaching past 25k just yet, but hey let's see where it goes in the next couple of weeks.
Pretty sure that whales are just taking their sweet time grabbing all the bags as much as possible since many could have been selling at this point either from panic selling or due to being newb.
1028  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: All newbies are welcome to this forum on: August 01, 2022, 10:42:33 PM

Welcome, OP!
As much as I appreciate you welcoming newer users registering in this forum, I would just advise you to not create thread like this since I do not think it is necessary in the first place.
It is a good thing that you somehow share the welcome posts that you read.
We can wrap up this thread by locking it, so no more further replies would be made as I feel that there is nothing to be discussed in here at the moment.
1029  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Random tips for beginners/newbies. on: July 31, 2022, 02:44:42 PM

I just do not like it when other users ,especially the users that have "higher forum rank", are making it like obligatory that one should be focusing on being famous or ranking up in this forum upon signing up. One could probably just be in here to ask questions and learn on their own spare time after their 9-5. Like "dude chill, I am just here to read and have conversation with other users".
It kind of creates that elitism though I would not bother discussing that further.
I kind of have related experience with yours but mine was from Reddit and GBATemp. A lot of things had changed after I did not logged in from those sites. Good times good times.

My reply is not directed towards to the OP by the way.
1030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba Inu Long-Term Holders Are Increasing as Investors Shift Focus on: July 31, 2022, 02:33:53 PM
~
19%? It is a meme coin anyway, but I would not expect that kind of percentage to be that close to even 10%. I thought this coin was already dead for a long time after the hype along with Elon was no more, lol.
I guess that 19% has some portion where investors forgot that they were holding Shiba.
I would not expect the numbers to be larger than 19% anytime soon. Not a fan of these mem coins anyway.
1031  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which token should I use for my investment ? on: July 29, 2022, 08:46:25 PM
~
For safer game, just go with Bitcoin though that is not a token.
Just taking everyone's advice literally might lead you to a lot of losses, since surely they have their own experience when buying one in their time, but remember that the market price is continuously fluctuating and other's experience might not be the same for you.
1032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Muuinu next big memecoin? on: July 29, 2022, 08:42:08 PM

In fact I see a lot of "inu" variation around here being promoted by some random users that are just used for shilling and not technically anything that is forum-related in the long term.
I guess I understand that these exchanges do not mind about its utility and as long as it is a hot cake, it will surely be promoted really hard.
That's what I see at least lately.
1033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Muuinu next big memecoin? on: July 29, 2022, 03:50:02 PM
This is just another shilling of a random user in this forum. Just ignore the OP and move on.
We've been seeing this quite a lot and some would even create a "bait thread" thinking that the topic was all about whatever the title is/was but instead it was all about shilling their platform/coin.
1034  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Most BTC you've spent on something? on: July 29, 2022, 03:28:57 PM

Now this is something interesting. I never hold that much amount of Bitcoin for too long and that is going to be a lot already if converted here in my own local currency. I cannot imagine how much you would get more if it was a 1 Bitcoin.  It is simple yet a fulfilling dream.
Wishing you more luck there, G_Besar!
1035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You won't find this on Google yet on: July 28, 2022, 06:55:05 PM

Metaverse seems to quiet down for a while. Not sure if the hype died or it is just that I am not that quite active at all in these trends. There is no BS with NFTs. it is just getting covered with these rug pulls and scams as well as stupid misconception about NFTs.
Many are misinterpreting what NFTs are.
1036  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Most BTC you've spent on something? on: July 28, 2022, 06:46:11 PM
Not much here in my end, it is around $50 worth of Bitcoin if I can recall it. I really needed parts for my PC so I used my Bitcoin to purchase that part, specifically RAM. I cannot recall which website I bought from but hey I got a great deal.
I wish more popular shops like Shopee would implement that payment method though.
1037  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need some Information on: July 27, 2022, 10:03:47 PM

This is a forum, OP not an earning platform. Since you seem enthusiastic about being able to work and earn, I suggest you just go and freelance instead. You have plenty of opportunities to earn outside the forum and it would even help you in the longer term than just relying on bounties as that I assume that you are after, am I right?
See this forum as a place to make discussions and learning new stuffs about cryptos..
1038  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ignore the dip and Invest in Bitcoin for long term on: July 27, 2022, 06:15:55 PM
~
I mean for me, it would depend on how "ignore" means to someone. It could be ignoring to the fact that no actions would be made obviously. Did that couple of times since my money is not particularly numbering themselves really well, so I just kept holding my Bitcoin regardless and did not sell because why would anyone sell at the dip at the basic sense, lol.
1039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You won't find this on Google yet on: July 27, 2022, 06:13:13 PM
Quite weird that I had never heard of this yet lately although the term was already written in Coinspeak.
Is this going to be another hype around projects just like IEOs and ICOs? Seems like those two letters "I" and "O" are the common term now for newer trends for projects, lol
1040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your ultimate choice? on: July 26, 2022, 10:25:14 PM

This was what was running through my mind that I cannot put into words properly. BCH was like a hot stuff back in 2017 and I even recall myself wanting to invest to it, since I thought it was also a "new version of Bitcoin" as my newbie self thought. Good thing I did not bother to invest a single penny to that one.
Thanks for pointing that out.
