That is the future I fear: the internet as we know it will cease to exist. For now, the AI-spam is still the result of "ask question, copy result, post result", but in a few years it could very well be: "Hey AI, create a bunch of accounts on Bitcointalk, start posting, join signature campaigns, and make me money!", and by the time that works, it's a lost cause for humans.
I am sure there are bigger and more dangerous things someone could do with AI instead of creating accounts and making money from bitcointalk forum. Creators of AI already started charging for using their services and my predictions is that soon most of the people wont be able to use them anymore, unless they pay good money. But I agree with you that internet as we know it is living it's last days, maybe reason for introducing internet-kyc for everyone would be exactly this - dangers caused by AI  This is just my speculation but it's not impossible scenario at all. |

You should try to earn Bitcoin by offering your services and accepting bitcoin along with fiat currencies. This is best option to get more bitcoin, but if you want to purchase and hold I think doing dollar cost average strategy is best, this can be weekly or monthly purchase of small amount of bitcoin. Nothing is stable and there is illusion that fiat currencies are stable, especially with printing machine working overtime, just check the prices and you will understand that inflation is getting bigger all the time. |

I was testing whirlwind mixer for several days and I finally finisihed today and managed to find some time to write this review. I visited both clearnet and onion version of website, but clearnet was not working for me, that is fine since I has intention to test mixing with Tor browser, but clearnet version should be released asap. Whirlwind onion version worked very good for me and I used both deposit types Fast and Note during my testing. First thing I noticed is missing information what is minimal amount of Bitcoin that can be mixed, so I had to find that info in Bitcointalk forum (this should be added on main page and in FAQ). I like the freedom website is offering to select fees (from 0.25% to 4%) and hours (from 0-200), but I would like to enter numbers manually typing, not only with slider that is not very precise. Anyway, first I selected Fast deposit, my custom hours and fees, with my BTC address, and saved my guarantee letter. Everything went fine and I received mixed coins as expected, this Fast mode is easy for everyone.   Next I tried was Note option for mixing, and I choose custom time and fees, than I downloaded provided Note after I sent my coins. I decided to wait for day or two before withdrawing my coins to achieve better mixing results. There was nothing complicated with Note option, just remember to download and save both guarantee letter and note code. Missing this part could mean you could lose your coins!   Everything worked fine but I noticed few things that can be improved, and I received few errors during Note withdrawal. I also tried entering note that I withdrew before and I received message that Note is invalid or balance is empty. I don't know what cause COULDN'T PROCESS WITHDRAW error, but maybe withdrawal was still in progress and I clicked WITHDRAW button two times. For Invalid note I am sure I tried to enter old note again to see what happens. I didn't combine notes yet, but this is on my to do list.   I have no complains about mixing procedure, but there are some small issues that can be fixed and improved. Maybe WITHDRAW button should turn gray when I clicked it, or it should be replace with withdrawn message, because I don't remember I saw any message about that. Minimum (and maximum) accepted amount of Bitcoin 0.001 should be clearly seen on main page, like I said before. If anyone wondered how easy is to destroy Keystone hardware wallet and how it looks after that, you don't have to do it anymore. One very unhappy customer Michael Blast posted short video and photos of this ''procedure'' and he used hammer as his main instrument  He called Keystone a garbage, but he never explained what exactly happened to get him so angry. Great work! I didn't know new ledger Sux is made from aluminum and plastic, it looks nice but I don't think that is durable at all, I am mostly concerned about their screen. Keystone sounds good with fiberglass, but hammer can destroy it very easy, I will post proof about it in my HW durability topic. One thing you can update, I am sure Jade wallet is made from plastic (don't know what exact type), because I have similar device from same factory that produced Jade wallets. |

Ledger and other hardware wallet manufacturers need to get some global reseller cooperations, for example with local electronic shops. People don’t like to buy from resellers, but I think this would be solvable with a secure and tamperproof packaging. Also Colcard and others are very hard and expensive to get if you don’t live in Canada.
They all have tamperproof packaging and it sucks for all of them, or it can be replicated for all wallets. Tamperproof packaging is more like security theater than a real security improvement, but they also have online verification to prove authenticity. Coldcard is cheaper than most ledgers and trezor T, I am not supporting Coldcard at all, but this wallet is neither expensive nor hard to purchase. |

It's best to use decentralized exchange Bisq (install it on your computer) for trading Bitcoin with fiat currencies and few main altcoins. If you want to use something with similar style like Localbitcoins/Paxful, you can try using Agora Desk or LocalMonero.
