2301  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [FLAG] Against CoinPayCard.net (u=3521103) on: April 04, 2023, 09:27:15 PM
I got scammed today as well $165 total, added credit to the card from my funding balance and the credit never appeared on the card, no reply from support after several messages.
Sorry to hear that, I was warning about them for months and hoping people would see that when searching for CoinPayCard.net.
If you can please provide proof, screenshots, communication with them, and anything that could help shutting them down.

We should all try reporting website and domain for scam, this is the only way we can stop more people from getting scammed.
I knew few websites that collect information about crypto scams, but I don't know if they are still active.
2302  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Hardware Wallets April 1st Special Devices on: April 03, 2023, 10:53:44 PM
Did anyone saw ''special'' deals hardware wallets offered for Aprils 1st 2023?

First one I saw was from Keystone and it was called CryptoBreathalyzer , that was giving 100% gains in just one day! Smiley
The CryptoBreathalyzer uses advanced sensor technology to measure the amount of alcohol in your breath, and it can analyze your breath to determine  level of confidence and provide real-time feedback on trading decisions.

https://twitter.com/KeystoneWallet/status/1641833421310939136

Second special devices was posted by Foundation Devices and it was called Pasport Stun,  that was offering protection against $5 wrench attacks Smiley
This device can be used by people for protection from other attacks, or for getting people shocked.

https://twitter.com/FOUNDATIONdvcs/status/1642205412899315712

Trezor released brand new April 1st device called Trezor Staxxx, coldest, most stable self-custody ever created.
It is so cold that is has to be stacked and kept in fridge.

https://twitter.com/Trezor/status/1642184531850547207?cxt=HHwWjsC-ybGIm8otAAAA

Nothing released from Ledger, but I am counting Ledger Nono X as their April 1st device for year 2023  Cheesy

Does anyone know about any other ''special'' hardware wallets released on April 1st?

Note: If you want to purchase any of this devices you will have to pass KYC verification, send me your blood type, photos of your girlfriend/s, your credit card info, and I will consider selling them to you for special April 1 discount price.
2303  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: electrum wallet, what's my outgoing address? on: April 03, 2023, 10:34:17 PM
When I send a transaction with Electrum Wallet, how do I view my outgoing bitcoin wallet address?
This is the same as question if you called someone on a phone what is his phone number... you can't send someone bitcoin unless you know receiving/outgoing bitcoin address.
You can easily see everything in Electrum wallet tabs, addresses, transactions, balance, etc.

Who does Mary think the Bitcoin came from?  What address does she think is Bob's?
What's up with all this weird questions after waking up from 2022?
2304  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase planning to close accounts of certain users on 9th April? on: April 03, 2023, 10:21:03 PM
Has anybody here received this kind of email from Coinbase?
Maybe this one one more bad late April 1st joke  Tongue
No, I am not using Coinbase exchange, but maybe they are targeting accounts with less activity or ones they consider ''suspicious'' for whatever reason.
I understand why many people based in US like to use Coinbase, but they should really consider making a switch to dex exchanges like Bisq, or other ways of p2p trading, better late than never.
2305  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Non KYC virtual cards (support Apple Pay and Google Pay) on: April 03, 2023, 10:15:21 PM
KYC is needed for plastic card if you wanna withdraw cash. For POS purchases with plastic and for virtual cards, its Non-KYC
You should clarify this on your website and show clear options for virtual and physical kyc cards, but I would prefer if there wasn't any sending of personal infromation.
Just wondering what's the price of physical cards and do you ship worldwide to all countries or there are some restrictions?

Guys, pls no another services discussion in this topic!
LOL
You have to be able to reply questions for similar services to compare them, and as far as I know this is not communist dictatorship forum Wink
2306  Other / Archival / Re: [banned mixer] - The best Mixer for the best percentage ! on: April 03, 2023, 10:01:44 PM
the best mixer for the best percentage. We truly offer the highest quality crypto mix.
You registered and posted just recently in forum, your domain was registered just few months ago, service started working after that, and you are already calling your service ''best mixer''  Roll Eyes
I would be very careful with anyone claiming this, and I am generally very suspicious to any new bitcoin related service, even more when it is based on mixing.
Your offer with lowest fee is offering almost no anonymity based on this, and I noticed many spelling mistakes and mix of english and russian letters.

2307  Economy / Reputation / Re: What is wrong with Royse777? on: April 02, 2023, 10:40:17 PM
What @Royse777 did was not right as he lured everyone with a high-paying offer to his signature campaign and later on announced it was a fake signature campaign on the pretext of April fool prank that eventually made me look like a beggar.
LOL
Sorry but this is one more pathetic post and no wonder jollybad gave you merit for this one... he is probably going crazy in his head because Royse managed to get back running so many campaigns right now  Cheesy
If you don't have enough brain power to understand what Royse did, that is your problem, but are you also going to also accuse Theymos for luring you and everyone else, every year on Aprils 1st ?!  ::

PS
Oh and please don't forget to demand from Royse to pay your medical insurance and write you review in your job resume  Cheesy
2308  Other / Meta / Re: Tool for seeing members in ranks? on: April 02, 2023, 10:20:35 PM
Is there any handy tools to see individually how many legendary or hero or senior and all other members are in forum ?
I went to bpip and loyce club but couldn't find the things. If anyone knows about it please let me know the process about it.
This is not exact number since there are many inactive and banned members, and new accounts are registered every day, but maybe you can ask TryNinja to add this option in his Ninjastic.space website.
I don't think this is important information to know unless someone is working on creating some statistical report that needs this data.
Newbies and brand new accounts should probably be excluded from report to get more precise data.
2309  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Pregled Bitcointalk Signature-Ad kampanja on: April 02, 2023, 09:26:52 PM

2311  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer.com - Bitcoin mixer / Bitcoin tumbler - mixing reinvented on: April 01, 2023, 04:40:31 PM
(I try fake news, but since there are people believing in Santa Claus and the Earth is flat, they may believe this too?)
Real fact checker here, Santa Claus is actual Christian saint called Saint Nicholas, but coca-cola made him into circus clown.
I don't know what is the real shape of earth since I never saw it myself, except in movies, tv and photoshopped images , so I have to go to space to verify this Wink
Back on ChipmMixer coming back, my theory is that even if he/they comes back it won't be under the name ChipMixer, it will have new name and work differently, so watch for out any new mixers coming out... this is just my speculation Wink
2312  Other / Meta / Re: [SCRIPT] New Captcha CRACKER by TryNinja The H4CK3R1337 8) on: April 01, 2023, 04:24:13 PM
Developer war is on! Let the best one win!
I think TryNinja is trying to take over the new role of main forum developer from PowerGlove, and he had to kill the bird first  Cheesy
In all my years in bitcointalk forum years this was probably one of the best April 1st day I remember, and I just hope hangover won't be so bad tomorrow.
2313  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Most Durable Hardware Wallets on: April 01, 2023, 04:03:09 PM
Yeah... I'm a big fan of "the less tech you have, the longer you will stay". And yes, cards are "waterproof".
You can immerse chipcard in (non-corrosive) liquid for several minutes without any effect on the hardware. I'm doing it everytime I drink a beer and show a demo of our cards Wink
Is that apply for all credit cards and similar devices or Satochip has something special that other devices don't have?
I saw Tangem card wallet being tested in ice and water and it passed without an issue, I think it would probably survive smash with a hammer unless chip was directly hit and destroyed.

I've seen some of the videos on the links the OP listed. The conclusion I got from several tests, especially for minor incidents that usually occur, such as falling or being splashed with water, is that the hardware wallet in the form of a smartcard is more durable.
That is correct, but I think it's not hard to achieve water resistance for small devices, if you put then in sealed waterproof plastic bag.
Similar thing can be achieved for protection against fire, using fireproof bag or materials that can resist high temperatures.
I would still like to have one ''tank'' hardware wallet that can survive almost anything, but I don't expect all of them will be like that.

2314  Local / Off-topic (Hrvatski) / Re: Kutak za kulturni trenutak (filmovi, serije, knjige etc) on: April 01, 2023, 03:50:46 PM

2315  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I've created website with over 250 links to most useful platforms in crypto on: April 01, 2023, 10:33:31 AM
just added hardware wallets
It looks good, and I would add few more like ColdCard, BitBox and Blockstream Jade, that are all well known and exist for years.
Note that hardware wallets can also be used as multisig wallets, so maybe you can add them on that category as well.

Also noticed that my website had too few options for bitcoin compatible wallets so electrum and sparrow wallet were perfect addons. They are listed now. I also listed bitcointalk forum under defi research tools for now on the 7th page. I will find a better place for it in the future.
I think it's better to add add Bitcointalk forum under Crypto News Outlet, or create new category dedicated only for forums and reddit pages for Bitcoin.
2316  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Pregled Bitcointalk Signature-Ad kampanja on: April 01, 2023, 08:12:50 AM
Ma ovo mi izgleda ko 1. April.

Hvala svima!

On the contrary, I think that Royse777 came up with an excellent plan and this will benefit the mixer itself. With this announcement (even if it turns out to be fake), Royse will draw increased attention to the mixer and this service will be remembered on this forum for a long time, thanks to this prank. And most importantly, it's all free. Free effective marketing. What could be better? It is unlikely that anyone will be truly pissed, given what a famous day it is today.
It's nice advertisement idea, but maybe you just want him to accept you in this new ''highest paying'' campaign Wink
2317  Other / Meta / Re: New CAPTCHA now required before posting on: April 01, 2023, 08:00:37 AM
PowerGlove did it!
He finally managed to convince theymos in his great development skills and he hired him as main developer for bitcointalk forum.
I guess it's only matter of days until we see brand new state of the art forum software with all the bells and whistles.
Captcha game, topic full of suspected spammers... what's next? Forum getting seized by IBF notice  Cheesy
2318  Economy / Reputation / Re: Royse777 is a big fraud. on: April 01, 2023, 07:54:11 AM
Oh boy... here we go again, one more round of anti-Royse777 campaign launched from newly registereed altaccounts   Roll Eyes
I wonder how much money people like this get paid to write against him, and is there any official application to apply or you get paid by number of posts  Cheesy
2319  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Whirlwind.money | Bitcoin Mixer | Lowest Fees 0.25%-4% | Ultimate Privacy on: March 31, 2023, 03:35:03 PM
We will launch a review campaign shortly with funds held in escrow by minerjones, you'll be able to try out the service safely. It's going to take time to build trust, but we'll be here to prove ourselves.
OK, I am interested in testing your service when this new campaign opens, and maybe you could learn from mistakes chipmixer made and make some improvements.
It's not only trust I question, I also wonder if you have enough Bitcoins in reserve to support mixer operating for future, or you are basing Whirlwind future only on earning from fees?
What is maxiumm amount of Bitcoin someone could mix today using Whirlwind.money?

All funds are stored in the multi-sig, Notes are proof that you are owed BTC from the pool. We only keep the public key of the Note and the balance, nothing else. There is no identifiable information such as deposit address/timestamp, that's why it's so important that you store your Note private key safely, you will need it to withdraw.
How long do you keep this records (note public key and balance) and do you keep any IP address from users?

Apologies if it's too much info and it's hard to follow, but I want to be as transparent as possible and not leave out important details. It's normal if some are skeptical because the service works differently than what they're used to and because of the latest events, but i'm confident that once we get over the trust issues and users understand how everything works, Whirlwind will become the benchmark in this niche.
Don't get me wrong, nothing personal against you, but I am always a bit suspicious to any new service that shows up.
2320  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Hardware Wallets Lifespan on: March 31, 2023, 02:50:25 PM
I wonder how long will hardware wallets, such as ledger, last.
For the time being I favour a non custodial wallet, pc and/or Phone based.
Ledger devices won't last very long, usually they start to fall apart after few years.
Old version ledger nano S had problems with screen fading out, but you can easily order cheap replacement screen from China.
Ledger nano X has many problems with battery, and plastic for all their models is really cheap and it breaks easily, so you have to be really careful.
Trezor devices doesn't have so much problems, but they are also made from cheap plastic, unless you make your own strong metal case (that is totally possible).
Electronics part for Trezor works just fine, and it's rear to hear they stop working like ledgers.

The reason being that SSD has a limited lifespan and I've lost a fair share of flashdrives due whatever mishap.
SSD drives are not the same as cheap USB flash drives, and they can last much longer if they are from Samsung (even older models), and if they have good controllers.
Hardware wallets have nothing in common with SSD or flash drives.
