2321  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin could drop to $10,000 by 2023 as the Fed normalizes interest rate policy on: September 09, 2022, 08:26:22 PM
FED can do whatever they want, the fact that the price dropped last time they increased the rate was a factor by how people didn't know where to put their money during inflation and their money lost value. This time around it would be high again, but people will start to realize inflation is higher than the rate so they need to reinvest that money again to some place, won't be easy and won't be quick but it will not hurt it as much as people think.

10K is long gone, and it will not come back even if you want it to, I would love to have bitcoin at those prices because it means I would be able to buy even more but I know that it won't happen and that upsets me a bit but I am hopeful about the future at least.
2322  Economy / Speculation / Re: Here is why the price has remained low on: September 09, 2022, 07:26:14 PM
This has been talked about before, any person who could technically move the price higher, would do so without talking with anyone else or try to showboat their talents. They would do so, and make a profit, let it drop, and do it again and keep repeating that to make millions even billions of dollars without worry.

Hence, it is proved that it can't be done, even the fact that it is not being done so far is the proof that it is not, and until someone says "watch me make it 30k this week" and does it, it will not be believed by anyone and that is normal, because why would anyone believe that. I would do nothing for such a person, because no such person exists.
2323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Hail The Queen! An Outlook Into UK's Crypto Ownership and NFTs Market. on: September 09, 2022, 06:58:12 PM
I agree with others, it doesn't. Why would Queen passing away would have absolutely anything to do with crypto, how could those two things remotely ever be considered in the same sentence. In fact, the real question is, how did OP came up with this question? What did made OP consider these two things could somehow be considered to be related to each other one way or another?

I believe that it is quite impossible for these two things to be remotely similar in the subject and impact each other. Queen passed away, crypto is still going on without any changes and if UK ever has any changes, it would be for unrelated reason for sure.
2324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too good to be true? on: September 09, 2022, 05:43:03 PM
Has this ever happened to anyone? It probably has, I am sure even bigger happened, I know friends who turned 100 dollars into tens of thousands of dollars but it was a bit back to back luck with a few coins and not just one.

In fact, one of them turned 220 dollars into 51k dollars with just a single project, he got in pre-sale levels, and got it very cheap, as soon as it was released it reached x10 already, but after that it kept on going super high and he got it to 51k, unfortunately he didn't sell and it dropped to 20k profit and he sold, still amazing profit though. However there are x1000 more stories how people lost their money instead of how they made it.
2325  Economy / Economics / Re: Age as a factor depreciating some people of their dreams on: September 09, 2022, 03:35:58 PM
Depends on the dream, isn't it? I mean if you want to be an NBA player you are not going to become one when you are 65 years old.

These people ended up building business', write, paint and so forth which never required young age to begin with, in fact being older meant wiser and have more time in your hands thanks to being retired and allow them to get more free time to practice and be better. My mother started painting after 60 as well, and suddenly she can paint, she didn't know how to draw stick guy, and now she paints views, all thanks to having free time and being much wiser to understand when studying how to be better at doing something.
2326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Sentiment Poll for September on: September 09, 2022, 03:03:35 PM
Had a good week to be honest, a good decent increase, over 1.6k right now and that means with a decent 20% more and we are almost there, that is the reason why I believe that 2k is a lot more closer right now. People are overreacting to 1k possibility, I do not think that we will ever see under 1k again, that was then and it is over and we should move on.

Bull is on the way, it is nearly a full year since we were in ATH and that means even if we can't reach ATH again, at least an increase must be on the way. Crypto market rarely stays in bear and low prices for over a year, maybe it takes a while to go back over ATH again, but not going higher again, that happens quicker.
2327  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: stop loss and take profit on: September 09, 2022, 02:36:32 PM
If you are a newbie and asking these questions I would highly suggest going to Binance, they have a much easier setup that you can use plus they are the most used one and that is why they are considered the best. I know that bitget could offer something to you to attract customers but the reality is that we are in a world where crypto is a risky thing and it will be quite tough to keep it going like that for a long time.

Just erase the fact that marketing looked great on bitget, and go to Binance and see how much easier it is and know that it is much safer there at the same time as well, there is a reason why they are number one and others are not.
2328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 08, 2022, 10:24:35 PM
Leipzig is a team with a big deep pocket, which means that you will have to win at all times, you can't just be a bad team for a few weeks, let alone be a bad team for a whole season.

You could be managing another team and you could have a few weeks where you are bad and it will be understandable, but when you are given such a huge amount of budget, you need to build a team that will bring in glory, sure maybe you will lose against Bayern and be second in the league, but you can't just finish 4th or something, or be like this year and end up hoping that you will be safe in your job. A lot of money comes with a lot of great players, but also a lot of responsibility.
2329  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for September on: September 08, 2022, 10:10:22 PM
It's a shame that people started to think that 15k would be closer due to a few bad days, we could have a few good days and not only be close to 25k but could even reach there. People are way too non-supportive of bitcoin and its price increases, we shouldn't consider it being like a bear market forever type of deal, we are not crashing and burning, it is just a bad day and it will be over quickly.

I still have hopes that by the end of the month we are going to be closer to 25k than we are closer to 15k, that is not changing. I know we have waited for nearly a full year since the last ATH, but wait a little longer and we are going to start seeing a huge bull run very soon, like 40k+ levels of bull run.
2330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: September 08, 2022, 09:50:53 PM
Europa seems like it started with a banger, teams are playing very well and everyone seems to be taking this way too seriously. Normally the early week games wouldn't be this hardcore, but looking at how the teams played so far, all the ones I saw (watched highlights only) looks like teams are playing with 110% and putting it all on the pitch this week.

Normally we would see a bit more "lazy" play where they do not run this much, but it looks like teams are not lacking in effort and trying their best. That's good, it gives us the best football we could watch, because seeing games where players just do not care will end up not being that great fun to watch.
2331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 08, 2022, 08:45:34 PM
Beverley is the type of guy that tries to act as if he is a great player, and we all know that he is not and that is why he is moving from team to team. I mean at one point he told Curry that next 5 years will be his, and ever since that day Curry won another ring, and Beverley has been kicked from 3-4 teams so far since that sentence. Dude thinks he is a superstar and not just an all-star, and yet he hasn't been even an all-star as far as I can remember.

This is why I believe that he will disturb the team a bit instead of help them, he is not there to just put fire into the locker room and hype them, he is also there which could cause trouble if he acts as if he is better than Lebron.
2332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto's biggest flops are now pumping ? But why?! on: September 08, 2022, 08:11:44 PM
The risk you take being involved in the crypto world is usually already higher than what you deal with in the fiat world. If you want zero risks then go invest into savings account on your bank. However, I agree that taking that extra risk is not a logical thing to do, why would anyone take that extra risk and invest into some "hidden gem" that will probably stay hidden and not go up?

If you are buying bitcoin, ethereum and other big names like that, then you are doing the right thing, that's already riskier than bank account, or even stock market, but at least it is trusted enough that you will do fine with it and that's what I am hoping for in this case as well.
2333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Cryptocurrencies Change the View of the Game Industry in the Future on: September 08, 2022, 07:43:03 PM
This is going to be a difficult one because in the end we are talking about gaming industry making money from people spending money so far, that has always been the case. The small games you play on your mobile phone where you buy gems or whatever to continue playing made billions that way, whereas we are talking about games having the responsibility to make you some money during this period which will be quite difficult to handle.

In the long run, it will turn to that eventually, but that change will not be easy and we will have both of them working together side by side, after a while we will definitely end up with a good result but it will not be this year or next year, it will take a few years at least.
2334  Economy / Economics / Re: US congress set to consider legislation to BAN proof of work on: September 08, 2022, 06:58:43 PM
I wouldn't be against it honestly. First of all, they can't "ban" proof of work, they can ban bitcoin mining in their own land but that's it, you could always move to another nation and continue there if you are a rich miner, if you spent 2+ million dollars on equipment, you could literally just go a bit north or south and continue.

However, what bitcoin maximalists like me do not realize that there are other ways and we do not have to keep doing this. Yes, airline industry is spending more energy, but just because they do, we do not have to do it as well, let's get rid of it and move on. ETH will do it soon, I hope it will be an example to everyone and we could move to staking which would be a lot better.
2335  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the pet industry recession-proof? on: September 08, 2022, 06:23:43 PM
I am not sure about the recession-proof thing, but I know that it is a big enough industry that if you gain a good chunk of it, you will always be rich. Pet stores are not digitally huge just yet, I can easily say that people still do use stores a lot, and that is one thing that could be improving a lot. A future when one company grows so huge that they deal with ALL needs of a pet owner could literally be the next huge industry.

The main reason it hasn't reached there is the fact that it is a growing industry and as the article says Z generation is a bit different, but someone will eventually do it, and it is going to change the industry and then it will definitely be recession-proof when it is digital as much as it can be.
2336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Who makes such predictions? on: September 07, 2022, 11:55:02 AM
Not only on those non mainstream coins but insane predictions like that do also occur on top coins. I remember someone claims that bitcoin can reach 1 million dollars. Not that I don't believe in the potential of btc but I think predictions like this are too much already that it starts to become nonsense.

What surprises me is that predictions like this can sometimes came from an expert that has a long term experience in the financial and investment field. While for those non mainstream coins like bittorent I think the one that makes a crazy predictions are their developers or the people on their community. They are only trying to hype the coin.
2337  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is everyone ready for Bitcoin's NEXT LEG DOWN ??? Federal Reserve Tightening on: September 07, 2022, 08:20:49 AM
OP is simply trying spread FUD and nothing else. When bitcoin is into bear market, people will lose their networth and not their confidence nor any bitcoins hence over reacting to downfall conditions of market is always not recommended. So, just holding your bitcoins tight is the only thing, I like to suggest everyone who are all into long term holders.

I will not lose my money by holding my bitcoins because my entry prices were spreading out way back since 2013. So, not all the people here are panicking and over reacting to bear market. If you get time to analyse the potential and fundamental of bitcoin opportunity then definitely you must be looking for dips to buy more. This is definitely a right time to buy more and not for exiting.
2338  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stressful crypto market on: September 07, 2022, 06:02:59 AM
I never got chances to think that expensive bitcoin could be the another reason why it became cheaper today; honestly in real life nothing is happening like that. Because, people tend to buy/invest with what is hot and promising and not the easily available one for low cost. So, unable to afford by many people cannot be a reason for bear market. For bitcoin to become expensive, there could be multiple reasons like you and myself buy it and for cheaper bitcoin, same kind of reason is applicable along with manipulations by whales (usually whales' contribution during bull market is not being blamed Wink).

So, bitcoin becomes cheaper or expensive as part of its life cycle. When it was priced for $1k in 2013 for the very first time, people thought it was too expensive but still preferred it and raised more than 60x in next 8 years (in 2021 we had $68k for one bitcoin) and we can believe the same to be repeating in next 8 years as well. So, try to make use of currently available chances to grab your pie of bitcoins.
2339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 05, 2022, 08:59:31 PM
By the looks of it Chelsea will probably not lift the trophy up for another 5 seasons or so. Not because they can't get better, but because Liverpool and City are still quite good. I know people love to hate on Liverpool right now and mock the results, but the reality is that they are still that amazing team and they are going to start winning again and I bet that they are going to end the season with at worst second position.

Arsenal may have started great, but at best they will be third for sure, and City will probably win it again. These are all teams that have young players too and good ones as well because they used the profits to get younger talent as well.
2340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: September 05, 2022, 08:19:22 PM
I don't know what to say man, Barcelona could fail to win the title this year, it's quite normal because you never have a guarantee to win the title, it is never guaranteed at all. Which means that they could be holding a bag of debt, lost a lot of revenue, and still couldn't win.

Let's remember, they finished the season second last year, even after having such a horrible start, which means that if they didn't made this much spending, and they rolled it again, they could have been second all over again. This also means that they spent all that money for nothing, before the spending was 2, after if it is 2 that would be a horrible deal for them for sure.
