<..snip..>
I understand that each network would have to provide me with a different address, right?

Nope- all addresses are the same despite selecting a different network for transferring ETH from one account to another.

Quote
I received an email from the exchange with a successful withdrawal message 90 minutes ago but the money does not appear in the other exchange....

From what I've read the transfer should have taken about 15 minutes.

Anything I can do?

I remember this also happened to me when I selected arbitrum as my network insted of bep20. At the end, even if it reflected that the withdrawal was successful, I was not able to receive my ETH even if I contacted my given customer serivce. I transferred ETH from Binance to a gaming platform which specifically required me to transfer it using bep20.

Like what most have mentioned, try reaching out to their customer support service if they can do anything about it.
623  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading on your own vs social trading and copy trading on: October 05, 2023, 11:39:53 PM
I think that by trading on my own I am just overtrading...I am looking for options to get trading ideas/trading signals etc to analyze those ideas and select only the best ones.
What options does one have to view trading ideas/signals from other professional traders?

This depends on your preference and time as a trader.

Generally, people tend to dedicate most of their time in trading in order to have their respective indicators. They apply various techniques, analysis, and other skills to arrive at a certain indication which would definitely give them an insight on what cryptocurrencies to trade at a given period.

For people who only have a relatively quick time in trading, they may opt to copy trade but this only leads to most falling and losing their trading journey. If you were to trade and this is the technique that you will employ, might as well to NOT trade at all.

<..snip..>

Can you build free robotic hospitals in every country or every city in the world?

While I somehow agree with some of the points that you have mentioned, we generally do not have any obligation to decide for people who have their own resources.

These billionaires are rich for a reason- they worked tirelessly and aimed at every opportunity to build their wealth and their current status. In addition, majority of these rich people have their respective charities and projects in which they are involved. Slowly and surely, they are contributing in order to help and eradicate poverty slowly.

Due to this, we have no control on how we can decide for others. It is their money and they have every right to use it to whatever satisfaction may bring. Ultimately, if something happens with the money they spent on, it is them who suffer for their own decisions; that is why we should stop telling other people what to purchase, etc.
625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hypothetical Question on: October 05, 2023, 02:03:35 PM
If someone told you a guaranteed sports bet that had a 100% chance of winning, how much would you bet on it?

If you had a $10,000 bankroll, would you go all in? We’re talking 100% can’t lose bet.

Would you take out a loan? How would you go about acquiring a large sum of money if you didn’t have the capital.

Let’s say the match is starting 24 hours from now, what would be your plan to maximize your profit?

Asking for a friend  Wink

First of all, I would definitely doubt it. If someone told me that there is a 100% chance of winning, I would definitely be skeptical about it given that no such thing exists in the realm of gambling.

Personally, I would try to bet perhaps ~$1,000 and consider it as money wasted. People who claim that a 100% guaranteed win is happening are either the greatest predicter or the worst people. In a heartbeat, I would avoid and just tell to myself that I avoided a scam that pretty much guaranteed to lose my money in the process.

For future reference, beware people! These things do not exist unless some shenanigans are involved in the activity.
626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you manage greed to place your bet on: October 05, 2023, 01:13:57 PM
....
We cannot foretell the future so it would still be best to stay in our lane, our limit. If we cannot afford what we are going to lose then it's better to stay away from it. Keep whatever number we are used to because if we jump the gun then we might get rekt. It's a risk. Now, there are courageous people who will do it but it might shorten the playing time or it could be the chance for a faster withdrawal.

I do agree with your statement.

I mean, I understand that it might be tempting to increase your bets especially if you feel the urge to do so. In addition, this urge becomes so addicting to the point that you start to regret by not increasing your wagers if you won the current round. But please take note that in gambling, this is what they want us to feel- the urge to gamble and bet more money on the process.

Being level-headed while doing gambling activities is ideal- but like what we have experienced, it is easier said than done. I do recommend that you bring only enough cash/resources for the day so that you would be compelled to stop.
627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My regret for not adopting bitcoin earlier. on: October 04, 2023, 04:53:36 PM
Hindsight's a tough teacher, right? Don't beat yourself up; many of us had our doubts about Bitcoin at first. The important thing is, you're embracing it now. Welcome to the crypto rollercoaster, my friend!

This is perhaps the shortest advice yet meaningful and complete.

Like what I have mentioned before, the best time to invest in cryptocurrencies is the day you discovered its existence. As soon as you found out and learned about it, then that should be the sign for the person to invest in order to maximize the gains that one would be receiving. With its volatility, BTC is the better investment both for short or long-term depending on your goal.

While I may have regrets of not investing sooner, I will not make the same mistake of doing nothing and maximizing this opportunity for the future.
628  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Always ask questions, it doesn't make you a fool. on: October 04, 2023, 04:19:51 PM
It's more than foolish if you don't read, search to find answers before you ask questions.

If you always ask questions without your due diligent research, it's foolish because I am doubtful you will read any replies on your questions. Being lazy enough to not search that is enough to don't read any reply.

The thread Newbies - Read before posting is for lazy members who don't search but always ask.

I think the search bar is one of those features in this forum that is underutilized by a majority of the users, whether new or old.

The search bar works like wonders and tons of threads can be consolidated as one due to the sheer amount of similarities that are posted. If people were to use this tool, then same threads and spams can be prevented.

Lastly, the internet is your friend- all the information is on your fingertips. If you have any questions, then you can always use any search engine (e.g. Google, Yahoo, etc.) to learn and to discover new information or anything related about cryptocurrencies.
629  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake Balance Glitch on: October 04, 2023, 03:04:08 PM
I had $1389. was playing plinko...
I was busy doing something so I was just looking at my balance occasionally to make sure i was still over $1,000...

well, it said I was at $1389
but it then said I didn't have enough funds to make my bet.

You should definitely contact their customer support service and open a ticket for this. I have heard that lately, Stake has been experiencing glitches which may have affected your total balance in the process. For a quick resolve, provide screenshots for the foregoing in order to substantiate everything with proof.

The thing is, Stake is a reputable and well-established online gambling platform. Any conflict arising from glitches or problems will be dealt successfully and quickly in order to maintain their reputation across the internet.

OP, as a recommendation, kindly provide screenshots so that customer service here in this forum and other forum members can help you with your situation. Good luck, OP.
630  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bc.game not honouring deposit bonus on: October 04, 2023, 01:26:01 PM
Thanks for bringing this to everyone’s attention and good luck in getting it resolved. This is a danger when it comes to using smaller online casinos. Especially if they have great incentives to get you to deposit funds. I hope that you are able to withdraw your funds at some point, but remember that if a deal sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

I definitely agree with your statement.

This is the problem when a person explores different online gambling websites that are not relatively well-known on the market. Sure, these online casinos may have bigger and better bonuses/rewards compared to other established casinos but you run the risk of problems with deposits (which is OP's current problem).

In all honesty, this is the reason on why I prefer established online casinos compared to new casinos even if the latter has higher/better rewards/bonuses.
631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is this fascination with claiming to be Satoshi Nakamoto? on: October 03, 2023, 10:59:50 PM
You might not remember how years ago everybody googled Dorian Nakamoto, but one of the reasons for every scammer claiming to be Satoshi is exactly that - popularity.
Dorian wasn't a scammer, but his case showed these people how you can use people's curiosity. After all, we'd all want to know who Satoshi was.

Have you noticed that whenever someone claims to be Satoshi, the press writes about it? You can be John Doe from Farmerville claiming to be the founder of Bitcoin and suddenly you're on Coindesk, CNBC, and so on... If you're notorious like Craig, you're going to be on Forbes, Wall Street Journal and invited to TV interviews.
It allows these people to make money because their social media get hits, projects that list them as founders or advisors amass more followers, they can promote all the scams they want because they have a popular name that comes up when you perform google searches.

So basically, the people who claim to be Satoshi are nothing but narcissists? That is what I am getting whenever I see someone claiming to be such- I mean, who would want to have that kind of popularity?

In all honesty, claiming to be Satoshi Nakamoto is just nothing but dangerous. The guy has thousands of BTC which are not yet transferred from his wallet. Such person would just compromise their own safety and security for a short-timed fame which basically does nothing if they cannot prove their identity and association.
632  Economy / Gambling / Re: Restricted on casino bonuses on: October 03, 2023, 06:37:22 PM
I really admire your perspective on winning, OP.

Generally, people view gambling as a money-making venture due to the potentials of winning that is involved. More importantly, lots of gambling players create various accounts on different gambling websites in order to maximize all the bonuses and rewards that are being offered. Also, some casinos offer loyalty bonuses to players who have reached a certain threshold of deposits for them to retain these players.

Very rarely do I encounter a post where a gambling company is stripping your bonuses due to winning so much. What I admire is that despite this move, you do not even feel bad about it because on how you view gambling, which is more of an entertainment rather than a money-making venture.
633  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do I need a mentor in my bitcoin journey. on: October 03, 2023, 06:04:43 PM
I have made a bold decision to start my bitcoin journey. But just like every a new born baby needs close care and attention to grow I really don't want to make a mistake in any thing I am doing. I have this question to ask.
''Is it advisable to to have a mentor who I can always go to as a newbie in the crypto space or I should rely all my knowledge on things I read online for my growth.

I do not believe that a person should hire or get a mentor, though it would help you on your bitcoin journey.

The internet is in the palm of your hands- every resource is available if you search online. In fact, part of your journey in cryptocurrencies is discovering all the videos and references for your support. Learning and exploring are all part of the journey for you to understand the basics and fundamentals. Lastly, if you clearly search on Google all about beginner guides, you would fin tons of references for you.

In conclusion, you do not need a mentor for you to understand everything though it can accelerate things for you. But enjoy the journey and long along the way- that's what makes this journey worthwhile!
634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Ever Made Such Mistake Before, But Won still? on: October 03, 2023, 03:59:32 PM
Nope but in fact, the opposite happened to me.

Way back when I was a teenager, my father used to gamble frequently in cockfighting. One time, he brought us to the gambling site, with my brother, and we used to observe what was happening during those fights. When I noticed that my brother won in betting which chicken would win (50/50 chance, either A or B), I somehow got jealous and I made a gesture which in fact called someone to bet. Though I do not have any intention to bet anything whatsoever, I just thought that it would be nice to just get over with it.

To cut the story short, I lost all my money and it was my birthday at that time. This experience really gave me the push to avoid gambling as much as possible.
635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will the Gambling Sportybet (Company) Refund the Money? on: October 03, 2023, 11:27:20 AM
<..snip..>
This 16 years Nigerian citizen used his school fees to play bet and was planning to win big amount so he can use it to solve other problems but along the line he loss everything and he went to the contact of the company and begged them to refund the money back to him because it is his school fees. Is it possible for the company to refund the money to the boy?

No and I do not think that his money would ever be given back.

When people gamble, they fail to realize that this is also a risk for the gambling company. They either win or lose some money, although they have a slight advantage, depending on the outcome of its games. If you plan to gamble your money, then you should fully understand the risks that are associated with it.

With this example, the boy risked his school funds in order to gain some profit for a good cause. But he failed to understand that by risking his money, the gambling company is also risking their money and the result could go either way. This is the reason on why I fully believe that underage teens should be banned from gambling due to incidents such as this one.

Hi, is there any reason on why you cannot post any real pictures of your team members?

In addition, one of your team members' photo is copied from a stock picture from the internet. This not only implies that the project may be a scam but ultimately deceives people into thinking about the genuineness of your project. Failure to reply or to explain your side would warrant a scam accusation against the project.

Kindly check the reference below, thanks.

637  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you believe Technical Analysis? on: October 02, 2023, 05:04:03 PM
I do believe that there are some technical indicators that can make you think "huh, people are extra bullish/bearish on this certain cryptocurrency/asset". But there's no single TA that would make you think "huh, this will 100% for sure go up/down".

TA should only be used to skew odds by a few percentage points. Not something that would make something guaranteed to move a certain way.

I definitely agree with your statement.

I mean, there is no secret formula that can guarantee a trader a 100% safe return and profit from their respective trades. If such technique or skill were to exist, then everybody would have been millionaires by this point and trading would be exploited.

Technical analysis is the skill where you incorporate all the intrinsic and extrinsic factors in determining and forecasting the price of a certain cryptocurrency. While it may not yield 100% guaranteed results, it gives you at least a basic understanding on what the current market situation is. In addition, this shows certain signs where it can affect your decision whether to invest on a certain crypto or not.
638  Economy / Economics / Re: Honda Now Accepts Bitcoin and Ethereum As Payment Methods on: October 02, 2023, 04:44:13 PM
In which country it is happening? I am sure Honda cannot extend such crypto support in all countries they operate. Government regulation plays a big role here. So while it's a good news that Honda has started accepting cryptocurrency payment it's Limited to some certain countries.

But honestly it doesn't make sense to spend cryptocurrence is like Bitcoin to purchase a liability asset like a car.

I am also curious as to which country does this Honda shop accept BTC as payment. Though I do understand that they are independent car manufacturers, it still depends on the country's laws and regulations if they allow BTC as a system of payment method for their products and cars.

While this may be true, I do think that this puts BTC in a good light if they have the support of the Japanese car manufacturer. If they view BTC as something that should be used as a payment method, then this may inspire other car manufacturers as well to accept or at least consider BTC and ETH as respective payment methods for their products.
639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino is a Games of Chance and Entertainment on: October 02, 2023, 04:01:15 PM
The outcome of the majority of casino games is mostly controlled by luck rather than ability. Examples that are often used include craps, roulette, and slot machines. Players wager on numerous outcomes in these games, and the casino has an inherent advantage that ensures they will profit in the long term.
Casino gaming is a popular source of entertainment. Instead of looking at it as a means of making money, players should approach it with the intention of having fun.

Majority of the players view gambling as a money-making venture which somehow worsens their position as soon as they make it long-term.

For people who view gambling as a means of entertainment, the chances of them succumbing to addiction is relatively low compared to the people who are aiming to gamble for profit. This is the reason on why the perspective of a person matters on how they view something, as this applies to any kind of addiction.

Though this may be the case, there are also some source of entertainment that does not involve any expenditure of money but people succumb to it (e.g. recreational activities, etc.).
