Here's Preston Stewards

And Lutz, let's suppose he's real, he didn't mention truqoin on his profile, so it's probably stolen without him being aware his picture and name is borrowes. That's assuming Lutz is a real person. It might worth mentioning that his current employment, the founder of Various Lutz, is somewhat questionable as Various Lutz Companies is not registered on CA company directories.

1242  Local / Pilipinas / Re: WORTH IT PA BA? on: January 26, 2023, 01:54:35 PM
TANONG KO LANG PO IF EVER NA BABALIK AKO TO JOIN BOUNTIES WORTH IT PA PO BA?
IF YES MAY TATANGGAP PO BA SAKIN KAHIT NA MAY NEGATIVE TRUST AKO IN ANY BOUNTIES.

Again, do not focus on bounties. Focus on contributing dito sa forum kasi mas maganda ang magiging effect nito long-term.
1243  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: i am a housewife want to invest in bitcoin on: January 25, 2023, 11:24:40 PM
is it too late to invest in bitcoin?
because I saw on the internet that bitcoin is currently experiencing an increase.

Generally, it is never too late to invest in anything. As long as you start as soon as you discovered it, then you are taking advantage of this opportunity to maximize your profits. Remember that the volatility and inflation of BTC is what makes it unique compared to other investment mechanisms present on the market. If you want to earn at least some profits, better be aware of its price once you invested it and sell your coins as soon as you see some profit on your end.

Quote
and whether my decision is right or not, to invest in bitcoin?

please guide for all the friends in this forum?

This depends on you but personally, investing into BTC could either be your dream or nightmare given the right situation.

Lots of people have profited from this venture but there were also some that lost thousands to millions. It all depends on the right opportunity and knowing when to sell your BTCs. Though nothing is absolute, there are certain factors that will indicate or at least guide you if you should sell it or not.
1244  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Help: Questions on how Sell my services for BTC as Graphic Designer on: January 25, 2023, 11:12:53 PM
Though wala din ako mabibigay na advice sayo as a graphic designer, meron akong mabibigay na recommendations na pwede mo sundan para relatively dumali yung process mo sa pag hahanap:

First, kailangan mo ibenta sarili mo. Since you are a graphic designer, mag bigay ka ng portfolio mo. You have to convince other people that you are the best graphic designer. You have to look for ways na makakapag separate sayo ang isang normal na graphics designer kaya dapat meron kang unique skill na hahanapin nila;

Second, if wala ka pang portfolio, then you may consider doing your services at a discounted rate to increase your trust and/or experience on this field. Remember na madami kang kalaban din dito kaya if you need the funds badly, consider mo din gawin ito; and

Last, always be courteous and polite in dealing with clients. Be straight and be professional in talking to them kasi minsan, sila din mag rerecommend sa mga kaibigan nila papunta sayo.
1245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Common Online Gambling Fraud on: January 25, 2023, 10:53:56 PM
Bonus abused is what’s common on online casino available in the forum because the rest that involves credit cards is very rare since only few casino accepts direct credit card payment to top-up casino balances. The collusion and other abuse that categorized under multiple account is next to the bonus abused for the most common issue here. Looking on the scam accusation board that related on casino shows that most of the user that reporting case are those who abuse the casino bonus and using the forum to get support and play victim.

The charge back abuse is new to me. This is really prone to abuse if casino allows card provider to charge back their customer loss.

I agree with your statement.

Generally, bonus abuse and collusion happens frequently in this kind of space but the limitation would be to have some sort of minimum withdrawal deposit for it to be claimable. This is also the reason on why some online gambling companies are hesitant to implement some sort of bonuses since it is subject to abuse by whales in the long run.

I remember back in the days, a person can basically abuse giveaways by creating multiple accounts and using referral codes of streamers. I guess this kind of abuse does not happen anymore or at least less nowadays.
1246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK fines online casino for only asking KYC from winning gamblers on: January 25, 2023, 04:59:13 PM
It's going to be the norm of being asked for KYC I believed, so you should be ready when one casino will ask you to do that. I guess it's the question of practice though, as the OP mentioned, it's only when the bettors won big that suddenly the casino will ask you to submit info. And when you comply, still, there are suspicious and then you might not get your winnings, hence there is a scam accusations against the casino itself. So it's better to ask for KYC in the beginning for me, and not get gamblers info false idea that they won't be getting KYC'ed.

Unfortunately, so many casinos are not doing this, they allow people to join and do nothing while betting, there are people who already wagered 5 digits without being asked to do KYC, then they asked when the players are about to cashout huge amounts of money that's where the issue for the player start, besides the long wait they are in agony if the casino will release their earnings.

The scam section is full of these players wagered 5 to 6 digits with no KYC then the casino asks for KYC when the player wins a big amount only to be accused of cheating or having multi-account.

That is why I highly recommend for a person to gamble in an online gambling website which is well-known and well-reputable to prevent these types of problems.

KYC was designed in order for them to follow with their respective rules and comply with their laws. While this may seem dangerous for the person to give out their respective identities, this requirement is slowly becoming mandatory to majority of the gambling websites. Since that is the case, better yet gamble on a website that has been around for years and has a well-established popularity of security and general safety.
1247  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happens next if Bitcoin drops to zero? on: January 25, 2023, 04:36:25 PM
Please don't let my question cause so much hate on me but rather let's also be realistic at times.
Though I haven't invested a reasonable sum in Bitcoin, I've at some point after watching how the market and price of Bitcoin fell from over $60k to less than $12k something similar to what altcoins do and it prompted some questions like
1. Will Bitcoin ever fall to zero someday?

I doubt that this would ever happened due to its influence on the whole cryptocurrency world. If the price were to drop to zero (0), then expect every cryptocurrency to at least follow the same fate. If a permanent ban were to be implemented to all cryptocurrencies, then there will be that possibility of it becoming obsolete.

Quote
2. What happens if it ever falls to zero?
It will be if this questions are answered without sentiment as I'm open to learn.

If the price of gold falls to zero, would you purchase it? If a certain thing has no value, then there would be no use for it. Fortunately for gold, it is tangible. But in BTC, when its price falls to zero, then I doubt that it will have any use as an investment instrument or mechanism. There would be no liquidation and transactions that will make it possible for a person to use it.
1248  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My own way of advising crypto newbies on: January 24, 2023, 11:55:02 PM
Actually it's same, if they don't need the money for the next 5+ years, it means they can afford to lose since it's not needed the money for short time. However I don't think there's will be a person need to think the money isn't need for the next 5+ years because it's really long to go and there's no way you can make a plan for the next 5+ years since anything can happen without you expecting.

The most simple thing just allocate 5-10% of your monthly salary to buy Bitcoin.

I agree with your statement.

The phrase "invest only what you can afford" encompasses all possible circumstances of the person not using the money. Basically or in the most simplest terms, just think of it as throwing away money and not expecting any profit from it or anything whatsoever. In that kind of mindset, you would be surprised to see that your cryptocurrencies would slowly grow from time-to-time.

But of course in order to maximize your profits, you must be diligent enough to check its price on the market if your initial investment increased.
1249  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you appreciate more Desktop or Phone on: January 24, 2023, 11:22:31 PM
I am strongly in favour of desktop applications or even web based, as I think that phones are usually to small and I do not really trust much the apps, but there seems to be many people who would rather use their phone. Is that because they do not have access to a desktop computer? It may also be a regional issue, the same as people that do not use a browser?

It really depends on the purpose as they are two (2) completely different devices for different platforms.

Generally for computer-related tasks, the desktop is well-suitable for the job. If you have sheets and documents to create, then the computer is the way to go. But for things that can be done in both PC and the mobile device, then I would prefer to use the latter.

For example, nowadays, online gambling websites have integrated a desktop-friendly approach where the interface and UI is optimized on your device. This means that you can gamble easily using your mobile phone without having to sacrifice any accessibility and buttons. Before, I used to gamble using my mobile phone due to its accessibility and convenience.
But hey that's just me, isipin ng iba get rich quick scheme na naman yung bitcoin which could eventually do more harm than good.

But yeah, catchy naman yung kanta, nakaka LSS  Grin

I do get your point pero publicity is always good when it comes to cryptocurrency.

Even if maisip ng mga tao ang ganyan na stigma, ang mahalaga is that narinig na nila yung cryptocurrency at ito na ang mag-stastart ng kanilang curiosity dito. Regardless kung tingin siguro nila na scam to or medyo related siya sa "gangster" vibe, responsibilidad na siguro nila para alamin lalo. Pero yea, this is good publicity sa cryptocurrencies at nakikita din talaga natin na sumisikat na talaga ito compared dati.

I just hope na mas lalo pang sumikat ang cryptocurrencies dito sa bansa. Pero along with this, expect natin ang mga exchanges to be more stringent sa kanilang requirements kasi mas nagiging counter-productive ito.
1251  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your successes over the past 5 years on: January 24, 2023, 03:48:46 PM
Your successes over the past five years: How well have you managed to increase the balance on your account during this time? Or have you lost everything? Tell me your story.

It's not just cryptocurrency that unites us all. We all became different after we learned about her, and went deeper into her knowledge. And now, even if someone is not very lucky to increase their deposit, then you probably have accumulated experience, and you can share it.

Over the last five (5) years, I have participated in various signature campaigns and I have at least accumulated a good amount of BTCs throughout my journey. However, there was a time where I also got scammed when I invested in a ponzi-scheme last 2018. From there, I have learned various fundamentals and skills necessary for me to venture in this journey.

Fortunately, also, majority of my BTCs were allocated towards funding my own education. I used my BTCs to purchase school materials, books, and other educational stuff when I was still in college. Currently, I am earning most of my BTCs (still from campaign signatures) in order to at least have some security for the future.
1252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Too accessible of online casino grows addiction faster? on: January 24, 2023, 12:52:31 PM
I have a discussion with a close relative about online gambling and he said something that about how he hate gambling online because it's too addictive, he claimed real life casinos are better and less addictive because he will have to drive down to Las Vegas to gamble or drive down to a local casino and this still takes some physical effort and it discourages many people from frequenting gambling.

Well, physical casinos can also be addictive especially with all the freebies and complementaries that they offer. They will try their best to capture your attention so you would be able to stay at the casino for as long as they want and for you to actually gamble again.

Quote
He said with online gambling it's available on through mobile phones and you can play at any time, this means no shortage of gambling around the clock and no shortage of losing money as well, you can easily pull out your phone and gamble with any free time, a bit compulsive and too accessible.
What do you think about this claim? Is he right or wrong?

He is correct. With the rise of online gambling and its surging popularity due to the pandemic, its convenience and accessibility is easier. You can experience the same level of adrenaline in your home as if you are actually participating onsite a physical casino. The only problem stems on how easy it is for any person to enter an online gambling website as underage minors are prone to this.
1253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cheat the Lottery Winner on: January 24, 2023, 11:35:58 AM
I do think that it is counter-intuitive that you want to remain anonymous while also assigning someone to claim your winnings. It is very ironic that the person seemed to think about such idea when in fact it will backfire him immediately.

Unfortunately, the person trusted way too much and eventually lost the $50,000 which resulted to a cheat. If he truly wants to remain anonymous, then he could have claimed his prize money in some other time or at least ask his/her trusted family member to get it.
1254  Economy / Economics / Re: Do your work. on: January 20, 2023, 11:30:22 PM
Not all people are skilled to have their own business and most people receive their knowledge to not build their own business but to work in a company that's why its hard to ask them to start their own business. Those people who work in the company are better to start saving their money on an asset like a house, gold, etc.

Well, people have their own passion, we can't force them to have their own businesses and they have their own way to make a living. Also there won't be a businessman who has their own company if there's no worker who willing to work for him.
Get to know yourself. We cannot force that we have to really do business in the life we live because everyone has their own competence.
As you said, not everyone can do business, even though many say that sometimes doing business is better, but if we don't have the skills and competencies needed, then things won't go well.
indeed in this case we won't know if we don't try but in other cases we also have to recognize ourselves so we understand what qualifications we can do not just try casually only see other people succeed from there.

To recognize yourself is quite difficult, most of the lower middle class can only do their usual routine every day. I mean, work and work without thinking about the future or doing business to improve their standard of living to make it better. in fact, they are well aware that doing business is not as easy as we talk about. there are many factors that become obstacles, whether it's capital, ideas, or a lack of knowledge in the field of business and low education factors are one of the biggest obstacles to changing one's perspective.

So, as you guys said. not everyone is competent to do business even though in this technological era everything can be turned into a business. after all, everyone has their own fassion style. after all, we ourselves are not necessarily successful if we are in the business world. so, keeping with the theme of the title of this thread. do your job.

In addition to what you said, most people sacrifice their passion for doing work in order to meet their daily and monthly obligations especially if you live in a thrd-world country. Here in the Philippines, majority of the people are working in order to at least meet their basic needs and provide for their family. To be honest, it somehow baffles me whenever I see people living in first-world countries doing what they really want while at least maintaining a standard of wage that can sustain themselves.

Not all people have the luxury to engage in business. Even if some might have the passion to do so, it is much more harder than it looks given the lack of opportunities that most face.
1255  Economy / Economics / Re: How is the cost of living in your country? on: January 20, 2023, 10:31:09 PM
The cost of living in my country is somehow manageable but the wage is brutal.

In the Philippines, the typical wage for a standard blue-collared job is around $10-$13 per day. With the war ongoing which increased the general prices of goods, our wage is definitely insufficient to meet the daily needs of these people. Not to mention, with our lack of access for efficient transportation, people are suffering since they are waiting around 3-4 hours in line just to get home.

Unfortunately, majority of the people in my country have started migrating to the US or other first-world countries in hopes of alleviating their financial position.
1256  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beware of cheaters on: January 19, 2023, 11:54:19 PM
From several posts that I read about scammers, hackers, and cheaters, the common denominator was joining telegram groups. As much as these groups sometimes bring value, I just do not trust them at some point due to the fact that anyone could send random links cloaking it to be genuine when in fact not.

Personally, I do not join any kind of groups outside Facebook. Telegram groups are just too risky for my coins to be handled. Though an exception is if the moderator or the creator of the group is a forum member who has hundreds of positive trust.

OP, be careful in joining these kinds of groups in the future. Always be vigilant and avoid all of the shady tactics that these scammers employ. Remember that responsibility always starts with you- as prevention is better than cure.
1257  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Anyone living with older people? on: January 19, 2023, 11:36:32 PM
See I have this problem, I am living with older people since I lost my parents at a very young age and I get so attached with crypto and I am making money out of it but the problem is my grandfather and uncles do not understand what Bitcoin is all about, believe me, I've tried to explain but they just won't get it. What can I do? They kind of believe that I am wasting my time.

How do one educate the illiterate about digital currency?

If you are forced by someone to learn a somehow technical language, would you be willing to listen on their end?

The same goes for your uncles and grandparents. While the idea of sharing cryptocurrencies to people is the dream that we strive, we cannot force them to learn it if they personally shut themselves. Again, this is not for everyone- it takes a special person to fully grasp and understand the fundamentals and basics. Maybe they were right- you are indeed wasting your time by convincing them to learn.

Instead of telling it to them, channel your energy in sharing it with other people who are more curious and willing to learn about it. Create or join groups that asks for some discussions regarding BTC.
1258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Giving bitcoin awareness for easy adoption in my locality on: January 19, 2023, 09:19:22 PM
Do you think it will be possible for these business people to welcome this new idea and implement it in their business ? Wouldn't it look crazy to them ?
It depends on your country and the legality of bitcoin.
If your country and its government legalize the adoption of bitcoin as legal tender then surely your move to spread the word about bitcoin will impact some of your audience. But if it's the other way around, they should probably think twice before adopting.

But for personal matters, they may not need to announce that they have used bitcoin to pay customers or process foreign payments even if bitcoin is not legal as means of payment in your country.

In addition to what you mentioned, there must also have a way for them to integrate BTC into their financials either by providing it as a means for alternative payment; or by using it primarily as their payment. In either cases, this involves using BTC as the medium of payment for their services/products on their respective businesses.

Though some might argue that this only involves a handful amount of people, but the fact that business owners are starting to adopt and adapt the use of cryptocurrencies is definitely a positive note that is welcomed in any time of the day.
1259  Local / Pamilihan / Re: coins.ph incoming transaction rejected. on: January 19, 2023, 08:48:32 PM

After submitting, nalaman din nila na yung BTC ko ay nanggagaling sa isang gambling website kaya they temporarily blocked my account from receiving any BTC.

Na-circumvent ko ito by changing my wallet address sa signature campaign ko nun before to my BitPay tapos sinesend ko from BitPay to coins.ph yung transaction. According to coins.ph, ito sabi nila:

Quote
We understand that you are not explicitly gambling or doing any form of it.

However, we would like to emphasize that your violation is directed toward your involvement/affiliation with gambling entities. This means that part of your violation includes transacting with them even though you do not really engage in gambling.

Kaya maging warning ito sa lahat na if affiliated kayo sa any gambling signature campaigns, wag niyo muna directly send sa coins.ph wallet address niyo as they may limit/block your account.
1260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury - February 25 in Saudi Arabia on: January 19, 2023, 08:34:05 PM
I wouldn't say Tommy is someone whom can consider a "capable" boxer because of his record. Most of his wins are against mediocre fighters at best with very poor win-loss ratio with the exception of Daniel Bocianski. I think this fight, we know which way it will go: obviously Jake's. Seeing Tommy's previous fights, he doesn't really focus on the defense and always go to the offense instead, so that's one department that he needs to work on as Jake is slowly becoming a somewhat well-rounded boxer through his previous bouts.
Yes, I think Jake will win the fight because he is superior in fighting skills and has a lot of experience so he can easily beat his opponent. What's more, what he will be fighting against is Tommy, who is just an ordinary fighter.
So it's not difficult for Jake to finish the fight with an easy and short victory.
For betting, there will definitely be more bettors who place their bets on Jake and this is a good opportunity for us if we want to bet on this fight.

At first, I thought Tommy Fury would win judging on their physique. But I watched his previous fights and I could definitely say that Jake Paul has the upper hand.

The thing about Jake Paul is that he calculates the risks on his decision on the ring. He always make sure that he would win based on the scoring system, whereas Tommy is known on his aggressive and purely offense strategy. Though that may prove to be useful, I doubt that it will work against Jake Paul given the stakes that are present in this match.

Nevertheless, I would still watch this fight but I doubt that I would bet on the process. Still a very entertaining fight but not something that I would go crazy about.
