981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ECCoin/ MultiWalletCoin/ Supercoin] Trusted-Cryptos Coin Thread on: May 10, 2015, 12:00:14 AM
great, super is delisted from Bittrex....
  Cry

Yeah great work devs, it shows that you care, now do the same with cryptsy.

How short sigthed and stupdid to blame the dev team...
It's up to the community to keep these coins on the exchanges.
What do you expect? That they should buy 0.2 btc a day in order to prevent them from delisting?

They are here for development, and they are doing a great job so far, so please stop acting like a child.

Regards

Goldmaxx

Agree. The community is responsible for price, not the dev team.

Price should not be an issue at this stage.
982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ECCoin/ MultiWalletCoin/ Supercoin] Trusted-Cryptos Coin Thread on: May 02, 2015, 11:56:30 PM

It was good of this team to take over supercoin when they did.
It was interesting to see if a team taking care of a few coins would work. I suppose thats still to be seen in its entirety.

Obvious problems arise however as with supercoin, there is just no continuous considerations to its development in a speedily manner.
With resent history, comments and expectations I don't see that there is much of an energetic life left for supercoin unless changes are made. The team can't spend time on it and thats up to their considered priorities. And also considering that whatever the team does work on in any given time, the speed of implantation is important as well for the good of all the coins that they are taking care of.

With every respect for the team, but I think that maybe this team has bitten off more than it can chew and by the time things do get done it will be to late anyway.

i will not be making any more updates to ECC code, MWC code, or SUPER code. i am no longer developing new features for these coins. we have moved our attention to making a new crypto application that will be the first of its kind

Thanks. You understand the roadmap of successful development better than most.
983  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ECCoin/ MultiWalletCoin/ Supercoin] Trusted-Cryptos Coin Thread on: April 26, 2015, 10:22:37 PM
ECC wallet is working correctly now. all functionality is working. there are a few minor issues none of which i can recreate at will so im not 100% sure why it is happening. one of which being that the wallet has a chance to crash if you unlock it, relock it, and unlock it again really fast. dont know why you would want to do that. but it happens.

ive had this happen once.... where i unlocked. and then relocked and it stopped staying synced with the network. but i was unable to recreate this issue when i tried to.

going to upload the code to git now. andd will be compiling the wallets. mac one should be up soon as well (although i dont actually compile that one)

edit: will upload the code after i fix the number of blocks for confirmation. supposed to be 50, is 40. i musta mistyped somewhere....

code is uploaded. wallets will be posted when compile stuff is all done

Excellent... worth the wait, as I know there were a lot of issues to be dealt with properly.
984  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ECCoin/ MultiWalletCoin/ Supercoin] Trusted-Cryptos Coin Thread on: April 24, 2015, 12:27:27 AM
We have disabled the wallet download. There will be a new wallet in a few days.

  HOW MANY DAYS?

be patient. will be posting some stuff this weekend

Thanks...take whatever time you need !
985  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash | First Anonymous Coin | Inventor of X11, DGW, Darksend and InstantX on: April 22, 2015, 12:34:27 AM
AdamWhite is a paid troll so no rhythm or reasoning will do anything to stop his FUD campaign. Even if Evan were to come in here and "clear the air" he'd still bring up insta-scam, reference node, i need to help noobs etc. Its best if we all just put it on ignore and move on guys.

The trolls will be moving onto BCN soon anyways.

I'm not a paid troll dipshit. FACT: 575,500 coins were instamined in the first HOUR due to an "accident"

Are you disputing this?
I can't believe people. We're reaching the 100,000th post soon and the same thing is being brought up. The same thing that some complained a year ago.
Stop with this nonsense. If you don't like it, leave it.

The instamine is a positive in my opinion, FWIW.  I guess most people disagree with that.
986  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ECCoin/ MultiWalletCoin/ Supercoin] Trusted-Cryptos Coin Thread on: April 17, 2015, 11:32:33 PM
Alright. so i believe the staking problem is solved, i ran some new tests this morning which everything in the blocks it staked worked HOWEVER the amount that is minted from those blocks was.... grossly out of proportion (x1,000,000 what it should have been as both blocks minted over 500 million). they of course were rejected by the system and immidiately set as orphan as they should have been so thats good. however this caused the forking of the chain i have so i have to redownload.... im kicking myself now for not backing it up before running new staking tests. a mistake i will not make again. i am redownloading it now and i can continue to run tests on the new wallet as soon as that is finished redownloading....

while that is going i will be working on other code for other parts of the project. so that no time is wasted.

Thanks for the information. It is informative, especially for those that don't realise the amount of time and skill that is needed for good coding.
987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CASH] Crypto CASH | Proof of Stake & COIN CONTROL | On Cryptsy | 0 PREMINE on: April 14, 2015, 11:25:35 PM

If you're so confident it's going nowhere sell him your last 40k and secure your profits Wink

If i were confident I wouldn't have sold most of it for nothing.

But 500k is a huge buy at 2,000 sat for a coin which was 70 sat not long ago.  seems crazy.

Something is going on, the price has gone up like crazy with zero pumping.  That's rare so I would risk a few BTC here but I wouldn't risk 500k at 2,000 sat.  Then again, if I had a ton of BTC I would so it depends on how much one can afford to risk.

Risk = 0

Plenty of buy orders over 3000 sat now.

I hear the ping..but doubt there are any working nodes.
989  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CASH] Crypto CASH | Proof of Stake & COIN CONTROL | On Cryptsy | 0 PREMINE on: April 08, 2015, 10:04:25 AM
This still alive? Wow...

News? Dont think so though... Dev was last seen in april 2014  Cheesy

Only reason I can think off is someone was mining/buying this the entire year.. and now wants his/her profit  Wink

OR people are mistaken this old cashcoin for the newer ones  Cheesy Cheesy

I don't think so.  The buying has been heavy and constant for over a month now.  And it's up and down rhythm is symbolic of a squeeze which one does when trying to buy it all up.

So someone definitely has a plan for Cash.  I hope the 10% I sold them [cheaply] helped out.

Cheers!

The 10% you sold was the catalyst. I found that this often happened when I had a 'dead' coin with a large holding. if I dumped a lot of it, the new buyer was motivated to move on it.

990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Trusted-Cryptos Coin Thread [ECC/MWC/SUPER] on: March 30, 2015, 10:32:06 AM
Good steady progress. These coins are now viable again.
991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash | First Anonymous Coin | Inventor of X11, DGW, Darksend and InstantX on: March 28, 2015, 09:48:57 PM
Wow I feel like a complete retard for selling my 23 dark for 0.2 btc 2 weeks ago.
Every single trade I make is always the wrong one. Eh I might as well buy Darkcoins now.
Everyone prepare for a dump because I just bought and I always make wrong decisions. Sad

OK, thanks for the warning. I believe in such analysis. The price is going to struggle now.
992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ECCoin (ECC) Takeover by Trusted-Cryptos Team [Griffith] on: March 26, 2015, 08:56:31 AM
General Announcement: within a few days we will stop using this thread. a new thread will be created for all TC coins and a link will be posted at the bottom of this thread to tell you what the new thread is and why we are doing it.

thank you
-griffith

Good move..
993  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRK] Darkcoin | First Anonymous Coin | Inventor of X11, DGW, Darksend and InstantX on: March 23, 2015, 08:26:12 AM
...snake oil anonymity concept called masternodes...But now that I've seen what I've seen, I won't been ignoring it.

Welcome to my ignore list.

Not sure why you where trying to reason with him anyway. He keeps calling this coin a scam yet I still can't figure out who has been scammed. Where are the undelivered upon promises, the tech that doesn't work like it should, the promised returns that never pan out... I see none of that here. Oh, right... in the future the dev team is supposed to dump on our heads when they held all the way up to $15 and continued development as we fell back down to $1. Roll Eyes

And for DRK/DASH supposedly having crap anonymity nobody has traced an transaction even though any big Monero investor has an obvious motive to break our system.

Give me the dev team that continues to push out new tech over the one that stoops to the level of crapping in other coins threads.

When it was $15 there were plenty of people dumping.  Mostly people that had been holding for some time.  They made a fortune.

Great. That's the way it should be. Distribution was also improved !

DRK is not that important, and I am not a sizeable investor, but the arguments here seem poorly founded.
994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRK] Darkcoin | First Anonymous Coin | Inventor of X11, DGW, Darksend and InstantX on: March 23, 2015, 07:42:44 AM
So, no, this has little to do with XMR vs. DRK to me.

I quite simply don't like how the whitewashing of the instamine continues (especially with the rebrand apparently intended to go after wider markets who probably don't understand that kind of scams that come out of crypto), didn't like the aggressive and arrogant attitude against dashcoin (opened my eyes to how disgusting many of the people who support this coin really are), and don't think the technology is worth much either.

Hmm.  So the "DRK instamine" was just fine with you for a year.  You didn't feel the need to post even once.  Now, it's an all-hands-on-deck alert?

Pretty much. I was aware of the instamine and other scammy dealings here for a while, as they were occasionally mentioned on Monero threads but I generally ignored it, occasionally traded posts with illodin a few times as he can attest. The bashing of dashcoin, and especially when I started getting trolled by name here, was with really inspired me to speak out against this crap.

'Instamine' as it is called, is often a positive. The originators and developers should have a large pool of available funds, otherwise they are undercapitalised. They can continually sell into the market, improving distribution.

Numbers of users and community size is everything, and DRK is amongst the top 10 cryptos for that (probably number 5).

Can you enlighten me as to the fraudlent dealings ? (comparative to other crypto)

The tech is as good as any. Trolls are attracted to any big thread.
995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [VIA] ★ Viacoin ★ ~ the future of digital currency ~ ★ on: March 22, 2015, 11:28:51 PM
In the mean time I'll buy some more.

Well, yes.  What any project needs is money (the sort you can pay your bills with), and I guess that comes from speculative buyers of the coin, because there is no other credible funding channel..

Developers have to live and pay bills, while they invest in the project.
996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Checkcoin] Explore the world using Checkcoin [PR PHASE] on: March 22, 2015, 10:39:34 AM

^^I agree...wish CKC was POS though. my coins just chillin not gaining anything =/
That was also my wish but for mobile-app they told me POS is not very suitable. For a POW-coin it is easier to build a mobile client. One other disadvantage if we get POS-reward there is inflation, but with low POS-reward that is not a big problem. In the beginning of CKC I was mot convienced that the POW was a good choice but I know from EnergyCoin that a mobile POS-wallet is not easy to build and is less secure.
Glad to read there are not only FUT-post here and some constructive comunity members here.

Ok there is GEOcoin and I have some coins of GEO but I refuse to drop CKC. Behind the scenes there is some action, I don't know the details but it gives me hope for future development and that is the reason I continue suporting CheckCoin.

You mean holding ..  (Like most of us).  I would interpret 'Supporting' as taking some development action, so presumably the devs are not supporting the coin atm. CKC can remain dormant until someone picks it up . The devs may do this in future, or talk to someone else who will. Even if they ran off with the IPO, they may one day look for more money to squeeze out.

Holding, anyway, is an almost cost-free decision, bearing in mind where the price is.
997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ECCoin (ECC) Takeover by Trusted-Cryptos Team [Griffith] on: March 21, 2015, 11:30:08 AM
alright guys. i know i said new wallet today. but ive been throwing up for most of the day. i had some swordfish last night. got food poisoning. it sucks

Take it easy on deadlines (any NewTech professional understands timings are only provisional) . The community knows you can deliver. Thanks for the update.
998  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: HoboNickels - HBN - High Fast Stake - Version 1.5. Come on in the water's fine! on: March 18, 2015, 11:26:41 PM
Tranz is 'the man'.

If I had the power, I'd make him an honorary hobo /  Grin

Also Tranz: don't beat yourself up much about not slaving away working on the client. Really, with the latest version, its great. You don't really need to work on it all that much. I'm not sure what else you even could have planned -- though happy to see any development and new versions, the HBN wallet seems really 'done' to me. It's quite stable and a great PoS wallet.

If anything I think you take off the development hat and put on a promoter cap; HBN is technically quite excellent and more people should know this (i.e could use more promotion or economic, market development).

Thanks for all your hard work.

Technically steady and excellent. Stable and high PoS are thin on the ground. HBN will slowly acquire more adopters.

What exactly FUD stand for? I know is something negative, like pump and dump etc....
But I don't know exactly phrase and I'm seeing this a lot....

They all claim to ignore but they are having too much fun to actually do it.

.....

That's true. It's part of the joy of the forum. What is life without a good argument (especially with at least one irrational participant) ?
