true some are a bit flustered by it all.. but if KNC does just ship multiple in one box and it is obvious they cashed the fees that is a bit unbecoming don't you think? Extra people just means they pay more people but less time paying them
No I don't think it's unbecoming. I personally don't think their intent was to trick people into paying more but that they where rushed in their planning and took the simple route of estimating the total labor + packaging + UPS shipping fee and divided by 200 to make it easy. They wouldn't be able to accurately predict if they would have 200 or 50 separate orders and even if they did it would take some extra work to tweak the shopping cart to reduce shipping cost on multiple modules. Even Amazon often does not discount non-Prime shipping when they ship multiple items in the same box... they did say you can order up to three per order which does imply more expectence than you state. If they imagine some order 3 per order you would think you would get a rate of one box shipped.. like i said, I am not fighting it but just acknowledge that it may be a lazy mistake on the webstore worth inquiring about

No production, they saved others for RMA.... which is more than enough to cover...
Where did you hear that?
They haven't
They opened orders, at 2pm the site was flooded.
Within 5 minutes the orders were fulfilled.
They tried to close orders, net couldn't handle the load and Andreas was locked out.
At 7 min he managed to pull the trigger, as a consequence quite a few more than 200 have to be fulfilled, so some more boards will be made for those.
Bitpay crashed from load, error #404.
Newegg sell out of stock of Arctic i30s within minutes.
Blockchain is still processing some orders, well at least it was about an hour ago, as Bitpay doesn't pay transaction fees.
Thank-you...interesting... I wonder if that info is correct... even the news says sold in 3 mins.... his says seven.... But yeah, if so... production time & a small step backwards for a day... but somehow I still doubt that is correct... guess we shall see... I'd bet they could run manufacture them in the AM, and still make it out the door same day....

I mean -- like it's a month old -- that's a decade in the auto industry yah know. I have never seen anything in this thread that would make me doubt Bitcoinarama's words -- regardless of all the moaning and complaining seen here. As for your last point... Hmmm? maybe. I would have to see that. Probably take more than a day to scratch out the paperwork -- but nice if they did it. But, if they can do it they should offer all the Saturn and Mercury owners another kick at the cat -- and then just build whatever is wanted. It's a nice thought anyway.

lol the time to crop vs whiteout tabs of porn or whatever he had
more lol at your pathetic but effective diversionary tactics. are you aiming for a knc 'position' as well? Maybe you should call KNC in the morning and get some of these questions answered. I know people here would appreciate some answers -- sooo.... can you do it? I could, but seeing as most calls get 'not' ignored and im not made of money, i have sent a number of emails which have been 'not' ignored but instead answered by an automated response which promises to be followed up by an appropriate response within 1-2 working/business days.... except they are not followed up, and are in fact left 'not' ignored and then brushed over by the one man who actually answers for the entire knc team as 'trolling' doesnt get acknowledged/answered. Therefore, if you have been 'not' ignored then you must be trolling aka undeserving of a response. Despite how many people are seeking the same information. @davewr - I appreciate your input, i am aware of variance and its effects but 50Gh less than 3 weeks ago is hardly what i would place in the realm of variance. Again, i appreciate your time and your not 'not asking' for 'donations-for-support' like some kind of cunt kind but not nice guys would might.

Also, can a Jupiter handle only 1 extra module or 2? I have yet to see 6 working all at once. Someone here proved 5.
I might have 3 to sell if only 1 extra can work.
I hope you can get any of them working because you can't "officially" upgrade a Jupiter at all. The only report I've seen of 5-6 running were on a board that already had 6 factory pin headers which are extremely rare from what I can tell. I didn't want to take the chance since I mine only has 4 pin headers and was worried about their statement that the controller does not support more than 4 modules since it's likely the boards with only 4 pin headers are not the same as the ones with 6. Good luck, I hope your gamble pays off! Yeah I didn't go in 100% blind. I've had these Day 2 Jupiter's with the cases off since the beginning. 6 pin slots are indeed all there. Have you seen screenshots with all 6 running?

EDIT: What is the difference between I30's and A30's? I grabbed 5 A30's since Newegg wouldn't let me purchase more than 5. And 1 from tigerdirect.

Again, i appreciate your time and your not 'not asking' for 'donations-for-support' like some kind of cunt kind but not nice guys would might. Well -- I would be interested in your answer to the behaviour you are seeing in your miner -- lay it out and I will be happy to critique your response. It's a lot easier to be a critic than to make any deeper effort you know... It's too bad you are not willing to pick up the phone and call them -- you seem like a pretty sharp guy -- I bet you're tough to fool -- so you would be the obvious choice -- would you not? Interesting point on donations -- is it that you don't like to pay or you don't get value for money? What's the issue? On a final note for the substantive issues, the more I think about your last sentence the more I really don't fully understand your last sentence. Are people cheating you? On another note entirely... It's also possible that if you developed manners and used cleaned up your language then people might take you seriously. Anyway -- time to pack it in for the night -- so hope you come up with some answers -- I'm definitely intrigued by your situation. Let us know how the phone call goes. I'm convinced that you will stage a breakthrough. Till then....

I apologize ahead of time...but I just fail to see the point about shipping... You knew the price before you bought, you made the choice to pay it, period. It's not like 50 or 100 dollars per board will make or break you... is it? I'd be happy to take that purchase off your hands if you feel it's "Unfair"...lol Where else could you get 140+gh/s for a grand, in less than a week? NOWHERE! They are a TOTAL BARGAIN IMHO
You could even probably get triple for it on E-bay...

let us know when repeating oneself became necessary to get even the most basic concerns recognized.
Next i'll be required to provide my order number...
I will NOT be calling europe as i stated categorically.
we call - we get told to email
we email - we get told to wait
we wait - we get left waiting
Is the only recourse to pull out potentially non-faulty boards that may only need a decent firmware and fly to sweden for the level of service afforded most 'businesses' ?
manners come with respect, respect is earned the hard way not handed out freely to the inconsiderate and dishonest.
@Phoenix - they WERE a bargain, all 3 minutes worth of bargain.
it was a free for all, not the 'appreciation' saturn and mercury owners were 'sort of promised' by someone who may or may not have been a paid employee at the time it was written.
i was unable to benefit from buying boards except as a backup/spare as my jupiter only has 4 connectors, but i was also stuck in a queue of blocked bandwidth and was unable to purchase so it is not really my concern, i do however feel for those that were eagerly waiting for this easily miss-able opportunity.
except asci-k who grates on me, although im sure i grate upon plenty of folk here - please accept my sincere apologies if my tone/language offends any other than the intended recipient.

I have to concur -- total cost, heatsinks and shipping included, was < 0.02btc/Ghs/s -- which is pretty fantastic for (hopefully) quick delivery.

Check the last few pages... links are there for the coolers. Other than that -- yeah. The shipping is a little steep but if it shipped this week I would be a happy puppy. You are right about the 140GHash for $1K -- I was looking.... no such animal except here. That's why it would be nice for them to extend their run and give all the Mercury and Saturn owners the opportunity. I got my two to upgrade my Saturn -- but I bet there are a few more who would appreciate the opportunity.

Nothing to it now for most, other than to wait for KNC's next gen and hope to get an early pre-order. I should be a little gun-shy, after all I received a bad vrm unit late in October, but the truth is they delivered, and I am hashing at maximum capacity. I'd give it another go for sure. KnC was a good bet. Now I am praying to God I win the Hashfast drawing for a Baby. Worth a try.

Yes And it's not an estimate -- it's based on what came out of my btc wallets this morning for the boards & later for the heatsinks.

Worth a try. speaking of next generation stuff from KNC ..does this mean this is the LAST run (or was) of Saturn and Jupiter? ie they are not gonna have another run in dec/jan with the price of say $1k for a Jupiter or some such? Considering they also announced that the re-designed the boards for this NOV run of orders I find that difficult to believe ..unless somehow these boards can be used by the next gen chips with minimal tweaking? and/or what is the consensus on next gen stuff going out the door I hear March 2014 on forums? (don't ask me where I 'hear' lots of stuff....probably most imaginary).. anyway no hate here honestly wondering if this is officially the LAST RUN EVER that just sold out of mercury (RIP) and now for Saturn and Jupiter? It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

can anyone explain me in which case the difficulty will grow and grow? Is it not depending also on the hashing power? When i look to http://mining.thegenesisblock.comit will not be possible to mine one btc, when start mining with 1,2 Th/s (like the sierra from HF) in June 2014.

When i look to http://mining.thegenesisblock.comit will not be possible to mine one btc, when start mining with 1,2 Th/s (like the sierra from HF) in June 2014. According to the 'Genesis Block', KnC has to deliver double the amount this month, double that a month in December, double that amount in January, double that amount in February, double that amount in March, and keep doubling until June. In essence it is complete nonsense. An impressive marketing tactic though by some shady marketers. Create fear, uncertainty and doubt using an aesthetically pleasing graph, have it propagated organically throughout forums by the ill-informed, or those with an agenda to prevent further entry to mining...then await all the traffic, and increased google rankings from multiple backlinks and sit on a brand created from BS as a pretend authority. What actually happened was a shit tonne of hardware was delivered in October due to the 28nm node finally coming online equal to the entire hashrate from Bitcoins inception almost 5 years ago, and now nothing new of any substance to be delivered since. Followed by a chunk coming on line at the end of this month that won't possibly have anywhere near the same effect as last month otherwise KnC will have had to have sold double the previous amount and have a factory capable of producing double the amount equal to the previous time frame. So do you think they are capable of scaling that month upon month, or that that much custom exists? No.
