Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

they are 28nm The text at the time did kinda indicate that. In my own unclear way. I linked the pic as an example of straight hose barbs on waterblocks. As opposed to 90-91 whatever it takes 20nm pics soon YMMV

Good news guys. I have reduced my VRM temps by 20 degrees C with my new delta fan:
Heres a comparison with the other cubes that still have the stock fans:
Only problem is that it sounds like a Boeing 747 but i would rather be deaf than having burnt VRMs.
How much CRM for the delta fan? It is used to blow the cold air in right? I thought there is a fan inside the box? Its 240 CFM. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835213001&cm_re=delta_120mm_fan-_-35-213-001-_-ProductThere stock 120mm fan was mounted on the inside but I removed that and had to mount the delta fan on the outside because the delta fan is thicker and wont fit on the inside. Also I had to use a 120mm to 140mm fan adapter which also adds thickness. Thats why it looks so bulky in the pic. It blows air into Neptune. thank you for the reply! do you have any idea how much cpm the stock 120mm fan has? I typo-ed. The stock fan that comes with the Neptune is a 140mm fan with 122 CFM. This is the stock fan: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835345069&cm_re=140mm_fan-_-35-345-069-_-ProductI couldn't find many 140mm fans with more than 122 CFM so thats why I got 120mm delta fans. just curious, if I keep the stock 140 fan inside the neptune box, and put an extra 140mm fan in the back outside the box to suck the hot air out, how much performance gain I can get? To put an extra 140mm fan should be a much easier DIY option.

I had another idea, re:VRMs and all stock parts. Carefully remove the plate and look at the imprint in the foam/clay. Cut some of the extra foam away. Leave some extra, don't go too wild!!! If you don't want to bend your bars, Cut thin slices of extra foam and place where contact is slight or none. This might help with airflow and heatsink path for VRM heat removal. Put on the robe, light the candle, turn out the lights, and perform the smoke test! YMMV EDIT For extra credit and possibly no improvement, drill 3 holes in plate between 4 VRMs where clay was removed. Holes no bigger than imprint on clay else ruin heatsink 9-10mm.

I finally have time to follow KnCs Neptune troubleshooting guide: http://forum.kncminer.com/forum/main-category/hardware/48166-neptune-troubleshooting-guideTwo of my five modules work, the other three don't even register as an ASIC under the advanced tab. It's almost like they're not plugged in or powered up (but they are). I have opened up one of the non-working modules, and there's nothing wrong that I can see from a visual inspection. Does anyone have any advice? test with only one box and one PSU, switch boxes and cables/plugs/PSU,... try to find the cause..... Thanks Elenelen, I finally narrowed it down to the cables. Turns out two of them don't work. I have asked KnC to send me some more cables. I have got three modules running at 275Mhz for a total of about 750GH/s. I've tried various frequencies all the way up to 400MHz, but above 300MHz massive numbers of cores are disabled due to hardware errors. At 400MHz after 70 mins on three ASICs I got 600 GH/s at the pool. I can't try 475MHz yet as my AX1200i PSUs shut down. I'll try it once I get those 2-to-1 PCIe cables from Cablez.

Can some experts provide some neptune-101 to newbies? after receiving the neppy, what need to be done to make it work?
e.g:
What parts are easy to get loose during shipment? Do I need to fasten them before power on the neppy?
From some pics I found there are some foam/sponge on top and at the sides of the heat tower inside each neppy box. Do I need to remove the foams?
How should I examine each part of the neppy to make sure no problem exists?
I will receive my neppy soon, and I have no previous experience with KnC products. Your advice is much appreciated!

Seems a little hard to believe that units have started shipping and we haven't heard anything from KnC about it. I was expecting more of an August/September delivery schedule, but who knows

Day of Reckining 2: Neptune edition I'm pretty sure we are past the day of reckoning. How do neptombers feel about being defrauded well into Q3? Do we think August is a new realistic date for Neptunes shipping, given we have to wait for new wafers and chips? No KNC customers even a little mad at being lied to and misled?
