That is rough.  I really expected batch 3 to be started before September.  I guess bad yields are bad.

Tired of substandard power distribution in your ASIC setup???   Chris' Custom Cablez will get you sorted out right!  No job too hard so PM me for a quote

Fiat is better comparison because when ordered in June btc was around $100 in Nov when it came out btc was about $500.

Lets say it cost 50 ($4999/ $100) btc to order in June, it comes in Nov.  So if you had mined more than 50 btc minus electricity it is compared to the original btc and the value of that today.

In other words if you kept that 50 btc from last June it is 50 x $523 = $26,150 with no other cost now.

I was so bored I calculated the difficulty and every day mining: from mid Nov 2013 to Aug 8 2014 a Nov Jupiter at 660GH and 800 watts @.16 electricity net about 35.5 btc.

$18,566 with btc @$523 today if you didnt sell any along the way.

Wow!  It seems much better stated that way.  Thanks.  That gives a better visual Wink
I was always worried about getting my bitcoins back... mining is kinda fun too though.

Have any CA batch (batch 0) customers received their compensation Neptunes yet?

I believe they are due in August.

Run a Bitcoin node, support the network.

No, I had to do it by hand.  Take the date ranges for each difficulty sesson (usually 12-13 days) calculate the earnings minus electricity for that period.  And do for every period between the start and end times.

This helps:

It says right in the sentence you quoted "reseller miners". Those would be the machines that resellers earned with the affiliate program not the 2nd free Neptune for regular buyers.

I'm in the same boat.
I've contacted 3 firms already in Sweden & they skill turned my case down for either conflict of interest (meaning they're being paid off by KNC or something to that effect) & the other reason I was given by another firm was that my miserable $10,000 will be eaten up just by the suits' costs alone.

KNC has probably put lots of Swedish lawyers on retainers to prevent legal action.

Are you batch 2? There is an ongoing discussion whether KNC shipped anything form batch 2 (here, as well as on KNC forums) like their announcement said, and if you are you would be the first confirmed one.

Yes I am a Batch 2 customer.
This is means B2 by KNC's standards as they don't count the introductory offer to their KNC customers as B1 and the next offer to everyone as B2, instead they counted the introductory offer and the offer to everyone else as B1 units, then in late Nov or early Dec they started selling B2 units, which is what I ordered and should be here on Monday, it was shipped from Sweden yesterday. It's already in the US. Smiley

Actually they count the introductory as Batch 0 ($10,000), then the $12-grand one as Batch 1, and then Batch 2 is Dec-Feb orders again for $10,000. I'm guessing then you're indeed Batch 2. Any willingness to share first three digits of your order number? Just so we know where we're at. I will understand if you don't Smiley

P.S.
I'm 189xx (B2) myself and still not shipped, or even "in production".

Not sure if you have seen this thread?

I am listed at the bottom, the don't list the batches correctly even though I told the OP who doesn't care. Sad

My order number is 172xx

I may have to ask UPS to return to sender when my KNC gets here. I just found out from a B1 Canadian receiver they had to pay an additional $2100 in taxes and duties to UPS, unfortunately I can't forgo this as I would not be able to recover this cost.

Pfff... you may return it to sender, but good luck getting a refund this way. A better option, I think, is to sell it (albeit a bit cheaper) quickly to someone who is willing to also pay the customs tax. But still, you should wait until you get the invoice from UPS, you may just slip through Wink

For anyone else receiving this kind of equipment from overseas (doesn't matter in which direction)- most companies can't estimate what you would pay in customs for your units. I had this exact situation last year when receiving from BFL, I had to pay customs for my order when coming from US to EU. Since each country has very, and I mean very complex customs laws, it's more or less unpredictable for businesses even if they are willing to give you an exact quote. And don't even get me started on shipments from China... Depending on where you are, you can pay from nothing to 200% import tax... So always keep this one in mind Wink
