It's hard to believe 35 PH/s can go this long without finding a block this often.  But it happens I suppose.  Variance is a MF.   Cheesy

Well I'm moving my hashing for a few days.

I won't wait 3-4 days like last time to be noticed that they have an issue...

I guess this is not fixed yet?

How does the hash rate keep climbing - yet the success rate keeps plummeting?

Lot of folk wasting a lot of electricity here..............

Maybe slush himself added some additional hashing power to the pool in order to increase the pools success rate?!?

But I pulled all of my hashing power out of Slush a couple of hours ago and have it now pointed at BTCC Pool in China.  Going to give them a couple of days and see how I like that pool.

It wasn't...

It was a guy who rented 6 PH/s for a few hours and pointed them at Slush.

Good to know!

Didn't get much bang for your buck out of it, bad timing!

LOL,  It wasn't me... It was someone else.

Variance is something else.  We now have 3 blocks in the last 3 hours.

Please, by all means, if you think the pool is performing poorly and can't handle it, go to another one, we don't need unnecessary noise from this thread popping up from someone trying to hit a better "forum member" level just out of pure complaints.

At least I'm making noise related to this tread subject. Please move and stop reading if 'you can't handle without making unnecessary noise to hit a  better "forum member level" '

Best Salutation!

The last 3 days: two invalid and 3 blocks each +7 hours. I have a few months mining so, is this normal or is just very bad bad luck?

With the bitcoin over 300$ this is the worst time to have bad luck.

It is a tad bad luck, but not unheard of, though for the week, we are now 89% which I have never seen that low on slush for the period I've been mining there, so yep, you can say it again .... bad luck!
Saying that, several (even a few!) weeks ago, we were popping a dozen blocks a day for fun and with a tad lower hash-rate, so the luck shall turn .... I am sure (following on from the invalids' saga recently) that slush will fidget about with something and the good luck will bounce back in no time.

On the BTC.Com Pool Distribution tab...

Why is the slush rate so low?? I mean... it's been a few months slush is over  30pH+. Anyone have other reliable source of the hash rate distribution ? It can't be right...

Where are those numbers coming from?

It comes from solved blocks, which Slush is failing at pretty hard right now.

its a bad time to be slow on the blocks and these 9 hour blocks have been killing us, but we should have a turn around.  Actually had 4 positive blocks and a 22 min block just a few hours ago so im feeling better.

Things running nicely last day.............
