Can you fix the luck while you're at it - welcome back That'd be great. But ye, the invalids are a pain :/

I just started mining here a couple days ago with my first ASIC (blade). Took me a while to get it hashing right because I had some wifi issues interfering but so far so good!

Hi all, I've been quiet here on forum because of work and family problems in recent days, but I was monitoring the pool closely. I'm just telling you that I'm actively solving the problem of high invalids and I'll inform you later about the progress.
Hi slush! Thanks for poking in, I know it restores my confidence to hear something from you. I just started mining here a couple days ago with my first ASIC (blade). Took me a while to get it hashing right because I had some wifi issues interfering but so far so good!
Nice to hear there's an ASIC in the pool somewhere! How's the blade treating you? Is the site down? I cant get onto it Don't worry, mining continues nonstop!

Nice to hear there's an ASIC in the pool somewhere! How's the blade treating you? It's great now that I have it up and running smoothly. I had some wifi networking issues I had to resolve that were interfering with the device. I primarily mined litecoin before this and never had an issue. Stratum was hard for me to understand at first being that I have four rigs to keep track of, but I think I have a handle on things now. The first few days I didn't trust the blade. I slept with a fire extinguisher next to my bed lol... there have been some people with hot/melted wires but so far only the chips themselves are hot to the touch, which is by design I believe. I have a box fan aimed at it and two 120mm case fans. It's pretty impressive, actually, how well it performs now.

But where are you buying blade? Am having 300.000,00 rubles for gear, but not finding available. I bought one in the third batch fixed price "auction" for 49.99. That was last week in the auction subforum. Then, I tried to buy another by emailing friedcat but never heard back. Oh well, I have some avalons on the way and it sounds like they will ship soon so I guess I just won't get a second blade.

That's a relief. What a crying shame it would be to waste all that hash.

glad to see you again here Slush. have worried about a little because of long absence of good pool-operator hope anything is right now, or eventually anything will be right (for sure). meaning private life on the first place.

The namecoin miner just sits there looking like it is doing nothing but as soon as you start running it whenever a block is found you will post the reward for it. Problem is that the frequency of payout's is a lot lower so it just looks like nothing is happening.

I've detected problems in bitcoind 0.8.1 where high number of transactions in memory pool caused 100% CPU load on the pool server. Because of this, submitting of new blocks were delayed for tens of seconds and caused high invalid rate. Sipa (the bitcoin developer) implemented fix for this problem ( https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/pull/2677) which I just tested and implemented to the pool server. I'm watching the pool closely, but the CPU load dropped from 100% back to 2-3%, so everything looks fine so far...
