...and now kids, now I tell you how your grandfather went to madhouse. Few decades ago, there was one opensource project called Bitcoin...

Im guessing it will end up invalid. Not sure why, but a lot of the blocks I've seen that short end up being marked invalid.
I'm here for a moment . No, this block is perfectly valid, you can click to blocknumber and see details on block explorer. Enough with the added extras more important how about processing payout since this all day outage We've been WAITING on namecoin payout for 3 days clicking on the block number isn't a recently added extra, it has been there for a long time. 1. Strange, re: waiting three days since I believe my last namecoin payout from Slush occurred two days ago. 2. The webpage says (although down at the moment) that payouts should be processed by Nov 3rd at 12:00 UTC Thralen Funny I've been checking every hr & never saw said notice This IS BAD up & down for at least 3 days is BS playing with tor instead of TCB I've been getting http timeouts for 2 wks but only on one machine and yes it's using api2 address I was trying to check namecoin stuff and have been waiting for funds to build & process at this point I've gotten more straight pay out from deepbit in the last 24hrs than slushes proportional pay scheme for every day last week putting it mildly I"m not a happy camper oh REALLY pool still down -- NO payout

Use another pool and stop crying better yet use a real miner which instantly switches to a backup pool. The 15 bitcents you got tied up will be all right.

FoxMURDER: Database fails in access to disk sectors, although disk looks good. It happen only under high load so I'm expecting bug in vmware disk abstraction layer.
I'm going to remove virtualization completely and try to run pool on bare metal. However it will take some time to install and setup everything.
bloody hell, that's going to be MPITA to debug ... i wish you a good luck and non-failing connection ... if you, by any luck, felt, you need any help, lemme know ;-)

Does Guiminer for windows do that? I am not sure. Once you learn how to use cgminer I guarantee* you won't ever use anything else. *your maximum damages if cgminer isn't the greatest thing since taco salads is me saying sorry.

Does Guiminer for windows do that? yes GuiMiner will switch to a back up pool but it won't correct SLUSH PROBLEMS as someone wants you to do too bad it does not work as well on WIN 7 as XP

That is so true and more people find that fact out each and every day, only to wonder why they hadn't made the switch to CGMiner earlier...

really cgminer eh. I use windows so I don't have to go to the command line. All those tools are nice to have in one place, but its not like I don't have them with various gui's already. Why go back to the dark ages and use a cli.

I know that the message that was on the webpage 'disappeared'. Personally I prefer him working to get the pool up and running again as opposed to processing the payouts (since both will take time, he is prioritizing to get the pool back up. Also if the error is with the machine, do you really want it running the payouts program while it is unstable? You can be sure that in addition to some manual effort there are programs involved also.) Thralen

Slush: Minor webpage error. In the "My Account" section I have an error message: "This is not a valid Namecoin address. Please install Namecoin client to get one." despite the address being the same one I put in before you started paying out namecoins.
Thought I'd mention it in case it isn't just me. If it is just me, I'll generate a new one and toss it in.
Thanks... Thralen
