You guys remember this chart I posted a week ago?

A bit of nasty speculation for you all...

Bitcoin hits $200 in January  Wink

Here's an updated version as of Jan 4th...

I'd say, we should be stopping at $260 for a time, with support here, until further declining to $200.

Price can throw over the wedge resistance/support line shortly at the end (bearish wedge on example, flip image upside down)

Does this chart mean you expect the price to sink lower to between 200 and 250 over the next week or two? Or is the bottom in?

Meaning a bounce to $350-400 and then back down to $200?

The TA Xiao was referrering to was one that predicted price to effectively drop down to 200 levels so I don't see how your post relate to it.

That is the throw-over Luc is talking about. Throw-over of a diagonal allows for such a movement as down to $200 for a quick stab. He said to flip the picture.

Throw-over is the same as a false break of the trend line. Traders will short on the break, the price will reverse and the short squeeze will be in the making

I just bought a bunch. Got back about 2/3 of what I had sold in late 2013 (this includes what I bought during oda's signal).

That's how I understood it as well, but it doesn't mesh with his (sub) 200 throw-over remarks on the same page.

Everyone seems to be saying the same thing now, from luc to ryn, danv and s3052. I am not sure how this will affect the waves - maybe it just makes the pattern stronger?

The throw over is a possibility. But not a certainty.  We are in a buy zone either way. $270 coins are cheap even if $200 is the low.

Maybe he is trying to convey that The Wedge fits into linear scale better than it does fit into log scale. And that in the linear scale The Wedge is pretty close to apex, so - time to buy.

Buying frenzy could mean he is buying now or getting ready to buy. We all know this is the area where people will buy.

maybe he's just saying the throw-over is a possiblity, not a necessity. Just in case.
