1881  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] The Rematch - JOSHUA vs USYK II (updated thread) on: August 21, 2022, 09:32:28 AM
Usyk fought like a wounded lion. He fought with a heavy heart.

From the first fight match, Usyk was just too aggressive, relentless and hungry for a victory. Joshua was really out of place, scared & lacked that killer instinct that most heavyweight champions have! I knew Usyk was once again going to outclass him. Usyk reminds me of Vladimir, tough, rugged and fast! I supported Joshua but the best fighter won though

He said post fight interview that he did want to change his style in this fight and you can see that sometimes it his effective, enough for 1 judges to sway the fight on his favor. But the 2 thinks otherwise, and that is what we saw, Usyk out landing Joshua in the most crucial rounds of 10-12. I just pity Joshua because he broke down and cry at the post fight. He really put himself in training and look forward to this fight in the last 11 months and yet he still fell short of it. I guess he can still continue to fight, maybe try to regain the hunger and motivation.
1882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: August 20, 2022, 10:30:10 PM
-snip

He's already 25 years old and has only won 2 titles - I have to admit I expected way more from him when he started playing.

yeah, he was announced as young star, and expected more from him, but to be honest, there was little space to win something lately, so was not that surprised to see him win just two titles

nevertheless, I do not expect him to win over Norrie, and would take Norrie @1.62, seems as value bet, IMO
much better match can be expected in other SF, and Medvedev should.win over Tsitsi, seems that US soil is good for Medvedev, he is playing his best tennis around US Open each year

Norrie is out to 1.77 on Rollbit, It does seem like a value bet to I have taken that. Its nice
to see Norrie coming this far so far, he has worked hard over the last year or so but if
he wins today I cannot see him beating possibly Medvedev.

That is a good odds indeed for Norrie, and I wouldn't be surprised if it goes to 1.6x something before the game start. Coric though seems to be riding on a momentum so I have him winning at least 1 set.

And I have taken Medvedev to beat Tsitsipas too at 1.34. It looks like Medvedev is "peaking"
or at least is upping his performance just in time for the U.S open.

This is very hard to predict, Tsitsipas huge underdog at 3.34 now, might be a good match to watch and hopefully they can extend to 3 sets and Over 22.5 at 1.83 for me.
1883  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What’s your gambling profit percentage limit? on: August 20, 2022, 10:10:03 PM
I voted for 50% to 100%, at least 50% of my initial bankroll will be good enough for me to stop gambling for that particular day. But sometimes, and I will have to be honest, when I already hit it and I'm feeling that I'm lucky I will continue and bet again. Of course, my instinct could be wrong or it could be right. But the bottom ls that you will have to set some numbers and that will limit or at least you can control your gambling.
1884  Economy / Gambling / Re: DUELBITS ASK FOR KYC WHEN YOU WANT TO WITHDRAW YOUR EARNED PROFITS on: August 20, 2022, 09:52:05 PM
Nowadays no one reads the rules and the general terms and conditions extensively. The only thing that still seems to be read is which countries are excluded from participating in playing on the site. I think every user should be aware that in principle all casinos are allowed and able to perform a KCY regardless of the time. I also don't think it is mandatory for a casino to do a KYC before a player deposits money. A casino may also decide to do the KYC later, even after several weeks. Depends probably on gambling behavior and payouts requested.
This is the common practice and if there’s a changes, gamblers will notify right away. Probably, because of long details gamblers didn’t make any time to understand the terms and conditions as long as they are allowed to create an account without having any KYC, and this is why many are not aware about this. If Duelbits freeze your account and ask for a KYC, there’s a reason behind it and the only way to solve that problem is to cooperate.
It is not an excuse not to read the terms and conditions, even if its long paragraph you still need to understand it because it will be your guide on the site and by this you can know what to do and not to do, have some time for this because it’s also important. Duelbits is a reputable gambling site, it will not allow gamblers to gamble using the funds that might came from a bad source, that’s why KYC is being asked here.

Or Duelbits just wanted to make sure that they are not using the platform to wash away dirty money. That's why when you deposit, you will have at least to play some. But yes, it is structured in every casino's TOS that they might ask for KYC for further verification.

This is the market that we live in, and I would say that the media put a lot of bad rep for us and that's why this KYC became a mandate, including for gambling platform, it is unfortunate but we have to follow it, rules is rules.
1885  Economy / Economics / Re: Entrepreneurship and women on: August 20, 2022, 09:37:10 PM
I guess this has been a topic since women have been given the rights to vote. And it has been proven that they can have their own business, established themselves and be successful on whatever venture they want to in their lives. However, it is still a small percentage though as compare to men, maybe women is not willing to take a risk, or maybe the majority will rather stay with their husband to be on their side and help them in their business. You just have to look at the market that we are in, although women is involved, but the most notable are mens, just saying.
1886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 - September 17 on: August 19, 2022, 10:38:32 PM
Can't even imagine Canelo weighing 200 pounds just to get a fight with some boxers in cruiserweight, for sure he'd struggle more than he could imagine because guys there are much more natural compared to him who's just jacked up just to get the weight. I agree that 160 lbs. and 168 lbs. are much more suitable for him, he got to maintain his status in that division because there will be boxers in the future who will try to get one of his belts.

Yeah, and even at a catch weight, of around 190 lbs, it will be too much on Canelo's frame as he is not a natural bigger guy and we've seen him a career best at 168 lbs, destroying everyone at his path and claiming all the belts. But when he decided to go 175 lbs, it's a very different story, it seems his power is gone as it has no effect on Bivol and slow and he seems to be gassing out in the latter round.
1887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 19, 2022, 10:20:02 PM
Remember that Adrien Broner supposedly had a comeback fight against Figueroa?

AB withdraw from that fight citing mental health issues,

Andrien Borner withdrawal in the fight against Omar is really quite sad, because actually I hope that the fight between Andrien Borner and Omar Figueroa will provide an interesting spectacle because after all Andrien Borner is one of the boxers who is quite good and able to win four division titles, but indeed mental problems make someone have to be handled properly and that reason can be a reasonable reason for his resignation, as a substitute fighter I hope that in the ring Sergey Lipinets will be able to put up a strong fight against Omar Figueroa and become an interesting main fight besides the re-fight that I the most waiting for Oleksandr Usyk vs Anthony Joshua.

Everyone can be hit by this mental problems, recently it was Ryan Garcia but he was able to recover after almost 2 years, and same with Danny Garcia as well, he mentioned it after his win against Campa. So it's real, every athlete are affected by it, just how they are going to respond. The sad part is that Broner, of all the time in the world, suddenly withdraw days before the fight and its so uncanny for him to make his excuse. Anyhow, the fight is going to push through this weekend, but I'm not that interested to watch to be honest.
1888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: August 19, 2022, 10:02:17 PM
I watched the match on the ladies side between Swiatek and Keys. After Swiatek lost
the first set I put a bet on her to bounce back and win.

The second set was so weird, Keys went 0-5 up and was serving for the match then Swiatek
broke her. She sent her racquet to be restrung and I put a cheeky $1 bet on her again @ 6.0!
she won the next 3 games to bring that set to 4-5 but Keys was able to finish it.

So strange, early on Swiatek couldnt serve, couldnt hit a winner and then to turn a switch
and do the opposite, unfortunately she left it too late.

I dont know what is wrong with Swiatek, ever since she lost the winning streak on wimbledon she just cannot get back on her track. I was expecting a downfall but this is just many losses for her. Since Rolan Garros she didnt win a title or played well.

Hmm, hard to say, she won against a tough opponent prior to Keys match, and it was against Sloane. But suddenly, she went cold against Madison? Probably it is what we saw in majority of top women in the last 10 years, maybe except Williams, they are very inconsistent and that is also the reason why the top seed in women keeps changing. So let's see if she can bounce back mentally after her streak has ended. Need more motivations for her I guess, or maybe she is burn out?
1889  Economy / Speculation / Re: Speculators : Bitcoins is up now 21k buy buy buy ! but... on: August 19, 2022, 09:38:20 PM
I think that although there is a little bit of Bitcoin price movement currently in the $23K area, the current price movement doesn't have the potential to be an important enough area for significant gains. It's better not to rush to buy and stay careful in the market situation is still not stable, don't panic too. It would be wiser to wait until we see indications of a bitcoin rebound.
The bitcoin price has returned to $24k and hopefully, the price can continue to increase upwards. For those who bought bitcoin at yesterday's low, this is an opportunity to take profits but if they still want to keep it, that's up to them. But it looks like it's an uphill battle for bitcoin as the price will probably keep going up and down from $23k to $24k. Hopefully, this month, there will be a lot of good news for crypto so this can be a trigger for bitcoin to start rising and get rally.
It seems that in this month it is difficult to see the trigger for bitcoin prices to continue to rise. After the bitcoin price had risen to the $24k area the last few weeks, but now bitcoin has weakened again where the bitcoin price has fallen back to the $21k-$22k area. In the current market situation we should not be rash to buy because the price of bitcoin still has the potential to fall even further.

Yep, when we thought that the market just rest after going down to $23k, now it continue it's downtrend and we may hit $20k again. So it's very hard to see that this month might be a green candle again if this trend will continue in the next two weeks. The question is, what trigger another set of sell off in the last 24 hours? We've been so positive in the last 4 weeks and so again it baffles us, seeing the price going in the $20k'ish and it will take a lot of time to bounce back again.
1890  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc crime on: August 19, 2022, 09:19:49 PM
well as some have already said, in the article they didn't talk about bitcoin specifically, they're just talking about cryptocurrencies (in this case there are 3 cryptocurrencies), talking about cryptocurrencies and money laundering, I think for very smart people they didn't use bitcoin for this type of crimes, it would be a serious mistake that they would be committing, using Fiat is the best option (of course I'm not encouraging this type of crime, I'm just saying that between bitcoin Vs fiat the best option is fiat ), in my country for For example, criminals keep kidnapping people and kill people and create stores and various businesses in order to justify the origin of the money, these criminals use fiat

If that is the case then fiat is still the option that the criminals, I mean there is no satisfaction for this kind of people by seeing tons of paper in front of them and feels very happy about it.

But laundering is another thing, and yes there are a lot of way to hide and wash everything. And unlike crypto, it will take a lot of effort, so this is not a good choice of criminals as it will just make things complicated for them. Just the usual, creating business up front or using heir existing already to hide the dirty money.
1891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: RUIZ VS ORTIZ SUN, SEP 04, 2022 10PM ET EASTERN TIME/ on: August 18, 2022, 10:30:42 PM

So whoever loss in this fight, he needs to make some big decisions in the future, whether to continue to work or just quit it completely.

For Ortiz maybe retirement is possible if he lose, but for Ruiz, I think he is still young and can still fight. Well, I'm not thinking he would retire though as I am confident he will win this fight and would probably have a big fight after this.

Yeah, more likely Ruiz can continue, but still he used to be the new hype in the boxing after he upsets Joshua and he did show a lot of potential. But soon the partying started, he didn't focus on the fight but instead enjoy the big windfall and the publicity he got. Fought Joshua again, but this time Anthony beat him, and suddenly we goes underground. So this could be the same for him if he losses, he could be in obscurity and no one will remember his career except for that one big win he got.
1892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 18, 2022, 10:14:37 PM
Jesus christ, 50 million a year give or take, which I am sure is still good money for Lebron even though he must worth like a billion already, maybe more. I am guessing that he will definitely pick up the player option, but it all depends on where his kid will go. I guess Bronny looks as solid as it gets for a candidate, both a legacy which is like the biggest we can think, but also a solid top 60 draft pick for sure even without the dad (well he wouldn't be this good without his dad lol). So all in all, I am guessing that if Lakers gets Bronny then Lebron stays, if not then Lebron may leave to wherever drafts Bronny for sure.

Looks like LeBron will most likely retire a Laker on that contract. The extension also makes him the new highest paid career earner in NBA history, passing Kevin Durant. In another two years I’m not sure if LeBron will still be able to be healthy and play at a high level, but he’ll probably have the option to sign another deal if he wants to. I’m sure LeBron is celebrating tonight…

That's a huge amount of money, that will increase his wealth being one of the richest NBA players in the world. Well, he deserved that because he is the king, may not be the best player in the NBA now but his leadership is very effective as long as he is healthy and can play.

Not just in the NBA but in the world of sports, he will be one of the richest, others might not agree with the huge contract he got, but I guess the Lakers wanted to keep Lebron and the management believed in him that perhaps another ring will be in the horizon for them. It's that last year was really a disaster as they expecting a good season but it turn out to be their worst. We haven't seen Lebron getting worst ankle injuries or like a torn ACL and I think it's more of his body really adapting to the grueling NBA games throughout his careers.
1893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 18, 2022, 09:56:29 PM
At certain age, if you yourself will know its time. Its not like other career that doesn't need agility of your youth.  Your skills doesn't depend on how fast you chop the spices but how good the taste of the recipe.

For us speculators, it's easy to say that they should just retire. We can't feel their desire to continue.

As for me, we should just let them do what they want. If at some point they experienced terrible losses and they feel their body is not cooperating now, they will retire right away without any hesitations. And even for let's say they want to continue, the promoters or organizers might not be interested now to form a fight and that will lead that old boxer to consider retiring and call it a career.

Yes mate, of course they have their own reasons why they still choose to fight even though they are not that young anymore and even though most of the fans wanted them to retire because of the age factor, part of those reasons why they still continue is that they believe that they can still deliver a win in the fights they participate because the power is still their and somehow they are agile enough to keep up with their foes.

Still up to the mindset of this boxers, I mean if they can still feel even at late 30;s or entering 40's that they can fight, then boxers like Nonito will continue. And because once this fighters retire, there is no coming back and maybe they just want last push in their career before they say I quit. And it seems this is Nonito's decision, maybe one fight to chase greatness and maybe if he losses again, he will announce his retirement, we will see.
1894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next Gem Coin on: August 18, 2022, 09:36:38 PM
$HTR  is the next gem, that will create the next wealth generation in th crypto space...

I'm not sure that this coin deserves such epithets as "Next Gem Coin", but I can definitely say that the coin really has potential and can bring its investors more than 1000%. At the moment, the price of the coin is at its historical support, from which reversal to growth is possible.

I agree, and we can't call a coin the next gem unless it really went like 100x-1000x. And at the current rate of the crypto market today, it will be hard to achieved that as we are in a bear market.

And as least the OP should tell us what is the reason, how is this project very different from others? what will it make to be called the "next gem coin"? and if I will add to that, usually this kind of promotion and hype backfire on the project themselves in the long run, in my opinion.
1895  Economy / Speculation / Re: Simple information in Bitcoin on: August 18, 2022, 01:27:05 PM
Hello friends, today I will discuss Bitcoin. In fact, the current state of Bitcoin is that since December 2021, the market value of Bitcoin has dropped significantly. Now that Bitcoin's state of market power experts think Bitcoin is going to show its own respect very soon. Many people are asking why I bought this coin as the price is slowly decreasing. Yes it is normal because it is estimated that bitcoin price may cross 30000$ this year. And another advance I can say that those who want to trade should buy bitcoin now if they can, they will see big profit very soon.

Lmao all have this information.
All know the capabilities and capacity of Bitcoins. Leave the industry experts, any person who is investing in Bitcoins from a year can tell that the bear market will end soon and Bitcoins will grow.
Nevertheless OP , thanks again for sharing this. Bitcoins are expected to reach 100k usd by the end of this year.
So if anyone hasn’t bought any Bitcoins, then buy it ASAP in these cheap price.
Thank Op later for his value-able information he shared here.

I think some of us who have the experienced already, or at least been enough in the market to experience the bears and bullish cycle knows that sooner or later the barrier that is 6 digit will be broken.

And for the industry experts, they all have their narratives for predicting the price be it $100k or even as high as $500k in 2024-2025. But we need a lot of patience and wait for the natural flow of the market in the next bull run.
1896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: August 17, 2022, 10:47:51 PM
I'm still waiting for the announcement if they have already reached an agreement. It's been weeks but still no report from the media. I hope they will reach an agreement soon, perhaps this coming ber months. I don't why Terence Crawford is hard to get regarding the percentage of the money. If I'm Crawford I'll humbly ask 40-60 of the money, beat the shit out of Spence, demand a rematch then appeal for a 70-30 on the contract, ez money.
We have seen the updates already, although not official, but it is a reliable and good source as where the negotiations is heading. It not Terrence Crawford that is trying to 'hard to get', in my opinion it is Spence, because he has 3 belts and he believed he is the A-side, between the two. And all have been speculating that the money split is 60-40 in favor of Spence, and Crawford is ok with that 40. But then again, we might never know that real split until the fight is made, and the numbers goes public.

For now, let's leave it like that, the fight could happen in the second or third week of November and Spence getting the biggest share of the pot. The data might not be available, although I reckon that if the venue is on Las Vegas, the Nevada Athletic Commission might release the numbers after the fight, so we will see. But if it's true that Crawford is willing to accepting the 40% and then maybe look for a bigger purse if there is a rematch.

There's probably a rematch clause on the contract and it depends on how things turn out in the first fight and the purse split could be very much different from the purse split in their first fight, I just feel it should be 50/50 as they are both champions but Spence having three belts is a big reason why he should have the edge and about the A-side, they are both on the A side but after the fight one of them will not be.

For sure there could be a rematch clause, because this is all for the belts, so at least the other party can have a chance to get back his belt. And the thing is, this fight is a mega-fight, so there could be bigger money for the rematch as well or even if there is a need for trilogy, then it's also possible. There could only be one A-side in this fight and that will be Spence.
1897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 17, 2022, 10:31:54 PM
While the other fans are teasing each other, their idols are having fun and just fun! They're friends in real life but there are also the others that are not friends and it's just all about the career that they have.
I am part of that who thinks Lebron and Draymond were not on good terms. Now it's all clear. It's all just their competitive side when the whistle sounds.
Yup.

That's just all about the competition and whatever reaction they show for each match that they have to each other, it's all because they're in a competition and they're just doing their jobs to make their team wins.

I wish to see more of this and those LBJ haters will appreciate that he's a person like this and if they will still hate him, I hope it's just in the court and not with him as a person.

Yes, it's more of the competitiveness amongst this guy, when they are inside the court, they will do everything to win a game and you can't see the friendship within, even hurting each other at times. But at the end of the end, those guys are friends are outside.

I'm not sure about the LBJ haters though, as we have said, "haters gonna hate", so as long as LBJ is making mistakes specially inside the court, you will hear this detractors talking about him and this and that, blah blah. But then again, as I have said, this guys are very competitive so once they hear it, they are going to be fueled by it and take it personally.
1898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: August 17, 2022, 10:16:11 PM

This looks really really one-sided right now for Fritz. I am also quite surprised as I thought Fritz might be running into trouble defending Kyrgios' serves. I think Kyrgios' strength regarding the serves can also turn into his weakness. We have seen that against Djokovic in Wimbledon. When he hits his serves it is almost impossible to defend him. He collects countless aces or easy points that way. But if he doesn't hit the serves well, he sometimes seems a bit lost against players who are very strong at longer rallies. Still fun to watch him and I guess he will also play an interesting role at the US open.
Kyrgios is his own enemy. Mentally at least. He got into an argument with the chair umpire about not doing his job properly and even pissed off the chair umpire. He completely lost the plot from there. Double faults in a row and then just gave up on the points after. Never seemed to recover after that.

Yes, we've seen him last take throughout the years, when we thought that he is making a good comeback as far his tennis career, he then goes into another argument, then he totally lost everything for that.

Later we will see Rafael Nadal vs Coric, good match, might be interesting game for Nadal. Let's see, -4.5 for Rafa. Just minimum beat for me to enjoy the game.
1899  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The implications of cryptocurrency on the global economy on: August 15, 2022, 09:49:38 AM
The use of cryptocurrency is has increase over the years as many people now see crypto as an alternative to the fiat. My question is if the government legalize cryptocurrencies are means of payment, what will be the implications on the global economy?

The only implications in the global economy is that countries are going to accept crypto as alternative to fiat. But I don't think that it will happen in the future, crypto will be a alternative for some countries but there will be against it, so the world is still divided.

And how many countries have fully supported it? or in the gray area, or totally banning it?

Yes, government will have their own CBDC to counter crypto. Digital fiat at the hands of every citizen but then again, they can be track by their government.

Pablo Carreño Busta finally made the win. The bookmakers as well as the bettors were much into Hurkacz winning the match. Things happened in the opposite way, so it could've been a big win for all the bettors who believed Pablo Carreño Busta will win the match. The odds could've gone above 3 when Pablo Carreño Busta lost the first set. The much expected Hurkacz Canadian Open trophy win have come to an end.

That's sports for you, I myself have Hurkacz as handicap and when I saw the first set, I though it will be an easy win for him. And so it was a complete opposite as if Carreno-Busta found his rhythm and neutralizes Hurkacz and even have some unbelievable shot. Anywho, it is what is it, at least for those who beat on Nick winning made some money until he lost to Hurkacz. And congrats for those who bet on the underdog Carreno-Busta as he has a good odds.
