1801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐️Share Your Winnings Story. Why do people gamble?⭐️ on: August 04, 2022, 04:57:23 PM
Generally, people gamble due to the hope of winning the jackpot in a relatively short amount of time and resources spent. All of us have that dream where we gamble like $1 and win like millions of dollars in the process.

Personally, I also have my fair share of winnings when I used to gamble with my brother. I remember, I mainly focused on gambling csgo and dota2 skins on dota2lounge.com since keys were the main currency in that game. I won like $100 worth of keys and lost 90% of it when I gambled them away and experienced a losing streak.
1802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you stop gamble if your girl friend insists ? on: August 04, 2022, 03:38:03 PM
Many people obey their girl friends more than anyone else.

What if their girl friend insists you to stop gambling  Huh Will you Stop  Tongue

This depends if the actual intention of my girlfriend is for the greater and common good.

Normally, people follow their girlfriends due to the lack of control over the relationship- men sometimes blindly follow their girlfriends without even asking the reason why. Though this may be the case, if the intention of your girlfriend is for the well-being of your future, then you must consider her side and reason. But, if your girlfriend wants you to stop gambling due to "personal reasons" that she will not even disclose, then it is up to your discretion if you want to follow her or not.
1803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can change of environment have an effect on gambling addiction. on: August 01, 2022, 04:56:17 PM

Can someone still develop the habit of gambling and become an addict even though no one around gambles?

if you gamble online I don't think it will affect the environment wherever you are, but it will have an effect if you invite and teach people in your environment who have not previously gambled
No one wants to take gambling as habit but it happens unconsciously. Those who concentrate on gambling for a long time it become a habitual fact. Generally in gambling does not require anyone to be invited. Those who are closure with any gambler automatically join gambling with enthusiasm.

Surprisingly, people who gamble are also the ones who just got exposed due to their curiosity. While an environment may definitely contribute if a person would most likely be exposed to gambling activities, such is not the sole indicator.

Regardless if a person is exposed or not, it is essential they know their limits and discipline. If gambling becomes a habit to them, then it will be slowly integrated into their system, thus forming part of their routine.

Personally, a change of an environment may help an addicted person overcome his addiction. A breath of fresh environment would lessen their influence in going back to their old habits, though this really comes from their self-determination and dedication to combat their addiction.
1804  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Meron ba na Banko na tumatanggap ng Bitcoin bilang collateral sa isang loan? on: August 01, 2022, 04:46:01 PM
I really doubt OP if papayag ang bangko na kunin ang BTC mo and gawin itong collateral for your loan.

When he tried withdrawing it, medyo na hold din yung pera niya sa bank since need malaman kung legit and genuine ba yung pinagkuhanan nito. If gusto mo talaga makakuha ng loan, then I suggest sa mga third-party websites talaga or kung hindi man, makipag trade ka sa mga tao dito sa forum.
1805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos You're Playing That Are not On This Forum on: August 01, 2022, 03:48:34 PM
This is in reference to a newbie thread in the gambling section about his list of casinos that surprisingly are not on this forum, there are too many of them some of them are already running 5 to 20 years already.

So I would like to ask are you playing in casinos that are not on this forum, if so what are these casinos and how's your experience can you recommend them here, can you name your own list

Currently, I still participate into "casinos" that involve gambling. Though they may not be considered as "casinos" in the same definition in this forum, I still gamble on e-sports websites, such as csgolounge, skinport, etc.

The reason on why I chose those kinds of websites is because I somehow associate them as sports betting. Since I am quite familiar with the esports genre (since I also personally play), the chances of me winning is definitely higher compared if I participate into slots or cards.
1806  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptocurrency exchange koinex shut down in india on: August 01, 2022, 01:19:51 PM
Koinex's inability to operate in India is not the acceptance of digital currency by its people, why is it that people are still afraid to adopt it, but it is legal in many countries
Can anyone tell?

Based on the information that I have gathered, Koinex shutdown due to regulatory problems conflicting with their government's views. Even if people in India support and adopt the use of cryptocurrencies in their daily lives, the exchange had to comply with the strict implementations that ultimately led to their shutting down.

I just hope that despite this, people in India would not feel dismayed about this. Though this may be the case, they can still utilize and use different exchanges available that is outside their country.
1807  Economy / Economics / Re: You don't earn money only from others, but also when you avoid spending your own on: August 01, 2022, 11:40:10 AM
People create so many worthless fixed expenses nowadays. It can be monthly subscriptions of services they barely use, eating out too often, purchasing superfluous clothes, accessories and items in general just for vanity towards the society. Sometimes people have all the tools they need on their hands to finish a solid building, however, since they don't know how to use them properly, it will look like they constantly need more and more tools indefinitely.

I wholeheartedly agree with you.

Exploring alternative means of income does not necessarily involve getting a new job or venturing into a new asset but it also involves limiting nonsensical expenditures on your part. I think it is essential that people should determine their wants versus their needs; the latter being the more essential in terms of priority in spending compared to the former.

If a person can determine and check his expenditures, he will also realize the things that are not worth spending on, thus saving more cash in the process.
1808  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the future of Bitcoin uncertain? on: August 01, 2022, 12:36:40 AM
What could be the state of Bitcoin in the future?

This is discussed all the time but I am asking this question because my elder brother said that after 2025 Bitcoin will not exist anymore and will be completely dead. He also said that after 2025 Bitcoin will not be mined so that Bitcoin will not be able to hold its own position.

So I would like to know from you how reasonable this statement is?

It really depends on the current status of BTC given that its price is wholly dependent by the use of its users.

No one really knows what will be the current status of BTC, whether its price is going to skyrocket or going to fall further. One of the most important factors that could ruin the price is government and country prohibitions. If in the future, countries would prohibit the utilization of such, then expect its price to fall down in the market. But given the circumstances, I really recommend if you HODL your coins for long-term investment.
1809  Economy / Gambling / Re: My list of good crypto casinos on: July 31, 2022, 04:16:43 PM
Those casinos very unfamiliar for me but good to see that you have been trying to tell us about that. it's better if you are also adding your list for that casinos that available at this forum as well. If you can give your first impression and that would be good. I think that will be very useful for all of members here. It's better to add more that listed in this forum as well.
The list of casinos is very foreign to forum users because many of the posts above don't know the list of casinos on the website, I agree with your suggestion to add casinos available on the forum, casinos on the forum dominate the highest ratings on any gambling review website, so it will benefit the owner gambling review website if he adds to the list of the best casinos.

This is the purpose of this thread- to at least inform users that there are existing gambling websites, though unheard of, that is relatively enjoyable to others. While there are tons of famous gambling websites that are considered safe and proven to have competent service, the barrier of a new gambling website entering this sphere has been quite competitive.

Like what I also previously mentioned, gambling websites have feedback that can either make/break their current status. Since tons of gambling websites have been created, there are a few which are outstanding but unheard of due to them being overshadowed already by the current and famous gambling websites.
1810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul v Hasim Rahman Jr / Amanda Serrano V Brenda Carabaja co-main event Aug on: July 31, 2022, 03:21:00 PM
Uggh. So annoying. I was looking forward to this fight and it was going to be shown for free on Dazn in the UK. I wonder what sort of financial hit Jake is taking on this? Pretty shitty and stupid of Hasim not have taken this fight seriously as he's going to lose the biggest paycheck of his career and now he looks like a coward who wanted to fight on his own terms and whatever weight he felt like.

I am quite certain that it will take some future financial hits for Jake Paul as a promoter. There might not be much other fighters who would be as excited to be in one of his cards. Those other boxers have also trained hard for August 6 and have also had their expenses paid for their training.

I have a feeling though that this fight is still going to happen and it might have to be push through, just maybe a couple of weeks.

Or maybe find a replacement fighter for Rahman?

But if they fight is totally scraped for good then sure, it will have a financial toll on Jake Paul.

Are these fights official? Is Jake Paul really trying to force his way into boxing by challenging fighters that he knows that is out of his caliber? Though that may be the case, I still find this entertaining enough given that lots of people loathe him due to his attitude and demeanors. I guess that is how he got his fame and money, through all the social media attention and attraction.

I just hope that if this fight continues, regardless of the weight disparity, both fighters would at least make it entertaining enough. But if gambling were to be present, I'd put my money on Hasim.
1811  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will be running in your mind if Bitcoin reaches $1000 again on: July 31, 2022, 02:31:19 PM
History is always the best teacher. Since it teaches us how to overcome our failures from the past, it has this everlasting effect of taking on all the missed opportunities that were once presented, but never executed. In the event that BTC reaches $1,000, I would never hesitate to purchase more and HODL them for long-term.

I have fully understood that the volatility of BTC has something to do with its nature; also, by the law of demand and supply. Given its inflationary value, its value is also dependent on what most people are willing to purchase it at a given price. Given this case, as more BTCs are mined, more of its price would increase thus HODLing for long-term may be the suitable and viable option.
1812  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally - My first BTC Physical Buy!!! on: July 30, 2022, 08:20:56 PM
Bitcoin is one type of cryptocurrency that has the least usage in the present era but you look to the future. I like to buy bitcoin type products because it's a lot of fun to buy with new money. That's why everyone will use bitcoin from now on, everyone will use all the products based on this Crypto currency.

I remember purchasing my first physical product using BTC, and it was school materials and books that I used back in college. I am very fortunate enough to have been participating into campaign signatures which resulted to me purchasing my dad a 2nd-hand car for his work. This type of convenience is the thing that BTC does wonders that I think that no other investment mechanism can offer in such a small amount of time.

Congrats OP for purchasing your first product! That laptop will forever be in your care as you will realize that its true value is not the price but the fact that you were able to purchase something from your hard-earned efforts.
1813  Other / Off-topic / Re: Myths, Superstitions, and Legends about Playing Cards on: July 30, 2022, 08:10:32 PM
To be honest I've never come across or seen any of these things in real or online gambling, and those who use them because of myths, superstitions and legends have probably been around for a long time. And it may be believed from generation to generation that in fact it's all not necessarily the truth.
In my opinion gambling is purely based on luck and skill, and there are also those who use it when luck is on the side of the person who uses it, they will consider it successful.
and I don't really believe it because they are all beliefs that are not necessarily true, except outside of gambling.

Like what I previously mentioned in a similar topic, these superstitious beliefs provide nothing against the odds. But, they in effect, provide something that gives the gambler the feeling of peace and comfort before they gamble. You can associate this like doing a pep-talk; it gives this certain boost of confidence and fearlessness to the gambler before he/she attempts to gamble on his own pace.

Though this may be the case, people should not fully rely on these beliefs. But if these activities help them in reducing the stress, anxiety, and their doubt, then I see no reason for them to stop practicing such myths.
1814  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Warning] 10.w88hash.vip Suspicious gambling website. on: July 29, 2022, 11:43:04 PM
The URL looks suspicious, but apart from that, I also think it's a very curious suspicious name. If you do decide to start a casino, take the time to think of a good name first. However, that does not mean that this site is by definition a scam, it could also be that there is a legal operator behind it, but you should always be careful with these types of sites. I do not think that people are willing to test these cheap sites, while there are very reputable sites.

Apart from the URL, the website itself is clunky. The UI is lacking and it is super obvious that it was created hastily in order to likely scam people via depositing in this website.

Not to mention, its domain name and address is currently existing around 72 days old. If someone wants to try a new gambling website, check the reviews or feedback if there are any. Avoid any sketchy gambling websites such as this one in order to prevent losing your money in the process.

1815  Other / Politics & Society / Re: High inflation is causing GLOBAL protests on: July 29, 2022, 11:35:40 PM
Ever since the war between Russia and Ukraine began, prices on the general commodities have been steadily increasing. Inflation has been happening globally as fuel shortages has been reduced with the ongoing war. There was also the news that Russia, as the biggest supplier of oil, cuts its channels with Germany. This heavily implies that we will be seeing oil prices getting more and more expensive, thus, driving your car will now be considered as a luxury.

This is now the reason on why investing into cryptocurrency may be the ideal situation. Something that is scarce is bound to increase its price in the near future. With inflation happening, there is a possibility that these countries may utilize the channels of BTCs that can ultimately increase its price on the market.
1816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think Its One Too Many on: July 29, 2022, 11:22:11 PM

Business that gives them good source of income, they will not ruin it just by not acting the right way, if they are really missing something and they see that there's an urgency it will be accommodated to insure the gambler that they are in good hands, but if they see something and they've got some evidence to delay the process, they will also update the concern gambler and try to work with him.

Reputations can hurt the entire business and that's the deal where casino owners are very focused. They don't want
to lose their respected brand for not solving a case that they can look deeper.
Also there are so many coping and ideas stealing that people don't know what to believe and who to believe.
Some of the business owners are real genius and they work to make both ends win. While the other only wants their benefit. But businesses grow with the trust and confidence.

Actually, it really depends upon the accusation against the online gambling casino that can either make or break their business in the long run.

For example, if a well-known online casino has been operating for years with tons of positive feedback and reviews then an isolated case comes up, depending on the facts of the case, this can ruin their reputation which they built for a number of years. But, the one alleging against the casino must present convincing and overwhelming evidence to support his claim against it.

At the end of the day, everything boils down on how strong the evidence is. If the casino really tried to act rashly, then they really have to suffer the consequences of damaging their reputation which can ultimately cost them the whole business.
1817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rise of Streamers in Online Gambling on: July 29, 2022, 05:10:39 PM
.....
Many famous Casino is now doing partnership on different streamers. So in conclusion, Streamers contributes a lot on the increase of popularity of online gambling.

Chart Source: Twitchtracker.com

With the effects of pandemic lingering, most players have shifted their interests in online gambling rather than physical gambling. This is also the reason on why anything related with doing something online is more famous nowadays. Though this may be the case, this can potentially increase the number of users and underage players attempting to do online gambling.

Twitch.tv is considered one of the biggest streaming websites globally. A person can visit the webpage at any age, thereby increasing the risks of underage teenagers being swallowed by their curiosity to try doing online gambling. I hope that Twitch balances the interests of these streamers and the welfare of these teenagers of the risk suffering from addiction.
1818  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Most BTC you've spent on something? on: July 29, 2022, 03:26:25 PM
What's the most BTC you've ever spent on something? Must be a consumer product or service, etc.

What was the date and price of BTC at the time?

Last year, I was able to save at least $2,000 worth of BTCs via participation on campaign signatures. Since that value is really significant given that I currently live in a third-world country, I was able to purchase my father a second-hand car which enabled him to make his deliveries more efficient and faster. I absolutely have no regrets with my decision since helping my father support a family 5 somehow also helps my situation with my brothers.

For my personal expenditures, I was able to purchase this Seiko Watch for around $300. I used some of my proceeds to purchased this "luxury" and I am currently saving to purchase a laptop for my brothers for the meantime.
1819  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph suspended my account without valid reason on: July 29, 2022, 03:11:35 PM
Do you mean to say converted into peso? if that's what you meant, then there's a way to cash it out through Binance, just use the p2p service, you can cash out to your bank account or the most popular which is GCASH.

Yes! I appreciate your reply- will definitely check out Binance.

I will definitely check those out, maraming salamat! Same question, para makapag access ng withdrawal options, need din ba mag pass ng KYC documents like kung ano yung mga hiningi ni coins.ph? Again, maraming salamat sa mga suggestions niyo!
1820  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling on Psychology & Sociology Perspectives. on: July 28, 2022, 11:56:32 PM
We have a thread  The History Of Gambling. And it shows that the ancient Chinese are one of the forefathers of gambling. So obviously, I will agree that it is part of their culture already. So I'm not shock by the article, they've been into gambling that really someone will what to test their luck to see if they are indeed going to get rich through gambling or have some money. And yeah, we've also discussed the entertaining aspect of it, for pure joy and fun, like playing roulettes or slot machines.

This is an interesting take- I never saw it in this light where gambling was embedded in the culture of the Chinese. I guess that is one of the reasons on why they are considered the powerhouse of gambling, like when you see casinos, absolutely and definitely you would see a bunch of Chinese people betting high amounts of cash simultaneously.

In reality, Chinese people are very business-minded people. They would take advantage of any situation that can potentially yield them large amounts of income in the simplest and quickest way possible. In the casino in our country, Chinese people roam the floors of each casino as they are acting as a loan shark for most gamblers.
