1701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who are your favorite dealers ? on: August 28, 2022, 06:54:34 PM
Sometimes online live casino games are boring even when you win because the dealer is not good at all while other times you spend a real good time despite losing because the dealer is very entertaining and funny.
So do you have one (or more) favorite dealer at an online casino? What's his/her name? Which casino provider does he work for? What games does he manage? Why do you like him?
^ How I wish before to experience sexy dealers in the casino.
Developers know that usually gamblers are men and they know that it lures gamblers if they will use sexy girls as a dealer in casino with a various games.
It is very common in Blackjack, Poker, or in Rollette, a sexy dealer that you can interact with them, who knows here the sexy dealer Kimberly, the dealer in Infinite Blackjack, or the most I like Brooke, the Texas Hold’em Poker dealer.
I have never experienced naked online dealers, how it will feel.

This is somehow interesting- is there an effect if a women is to be made a dealer in an online setting?

Based from my experience visiting physical casinos, normally, dealers are mixed male and female but people tend to generally visit more women dealers due to their attractiveness and looks. Though sometimes, some casinos offer majority of male dealers, this does not affect at all. Mostly, it just depends on the preference of the gambler on whom he/she wants to deal with.

Well personally, I could not careless for as long as I would be able to bet my money.
1702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Common Types of Bonuses Offered by Online Casinos on: August 28, 2022, 04:27:41 PM
Bonuses might seem like the best part of a casino, but they're not. Bonuses are very misleading if you don't consider the casino's entire history and reputation, So before you sign up for any online casino, you should ask yourself some important questions and take into consideration the long history of the casinos they are about to sign up for.

I somehow disagree with your statement.

Bonuses are offered by these casinos in order to attract new players in using their services and to also maintain current players from their online gambling website. While some offers may require a minimum deposit for the user to claim, you cannot change the fact that these gambling websites still offer rewards and bonuses to these players.

As someone who participated in these gambling websites and took advantage of such rewards, I do agree that the reputation of the gambling website is needed. Some referrals and rewards are misleading.
1703  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how bitcointalk forum operates on: August 27, 2022, 11:27:31 PM
I want to know how Bitcointalk forum works, in terms of merit, joining a campaign, rules and regulation.

There are tons of beginner's guide in this forum. Utilize the search bar and put all of your queries and questions as this had been asked several times already.

For your convenience, this forum operates as the biggest cryptocurrency repository of knowledge. Tons of people are active daily and there are rules that must be followed in order to avoid getting banned. If you want to rank up your account, the merit system must be completely understood so you could start earning them, but this is easier than it sounds.

If your aim in this forum is to earn (which I do not think is not that of a problem), then your journey would be full of disappointments especially if you are too focused on merit earning while disregarding its primary purpose; which is to learn from this forum.

It is definitely nice to see Union Bank utilizing this feature sa kanilang users. It makes it very convenient para makabili and transact ng BTC. Though feeling ko ang kalaban dito is documents and limitations, pero for that price to pay, willing ka talagang ipakita lahat para magamit ito.
1705  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: mine a Bitcoin or buy a bitcoin? on: August 27, 2022, 10:43:40 PM
Although the return of buying currency is high, the risk and return coexist, so investors also need to bear the risk of the currency price falling. And mining money is drought and flood guarantee. As an investor, we should take a long-term view of mining machine production.

Well, at the end of the day, it all boils down to the personal preference of the investor.

Personally, I would prefer to purchase BTC compared to mining BTC. The problem with mining stems from its very nature that you have to purchase the suitable and right mining equipment. This entails that you have to allocate at least a significant amount of capital to start such business. In addition, you also must have a suitable location on where to place these mining rigs since it has to be placed in a cool location.

As someone who wants to avoid the hassle of maintaining such equipments and lacks the necessary knowledge of mining, the convenient way would be to purchase BTCs and leave them for long-term HODLing.
1706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who Would You Likely Sign Up Under In Casinos on: August 27, 2022, 10:27:00 PM
It is a huge factor if a gambling website has an ongoing signature campaign in this forum. The fact that this specific gambling platform can allocate funds to advertise their casino via signature campaigns somehow implies their future plans and intentions for its future.

Not to mention, if an online gambling platform also has an active campaign signature, it follows that they have an ANN thread in this forum. This is specifically crucial especially that communication between the user and their customer support service can either make or break the website. Though, one notable exception would be 1xbit- while they may have an ongoing campaign signature, their review and feedback is full of negative responses that would warrant its avoidance.
1707  Economy / Gambling / Re: chinese bookmakers with tf gaming platform NO KYC on: August 27, 2022, 02:29:04 PM
I see at BTC365.com that they are licensed from Montenegro. That immediately reminds me of the Cloudbet platform, but I don't think this is a Cloudbet project. I also don't know if this site is reliable. They don't have an ANN on Bitcointalk and I can't find a lot of info about them either. Founded in 2020 so it seems, so still fairly new on the market. That doesn't always mean much. You will have to look and judge based on reviews from other players whether or not you are going to play here. I wouldn't put any money into it right now.

I definitely agree with your statement.

Not to be biased against Chinese gambling websites but in order to secure your money, better bet and use your funds in a more reliable online gambling platform with a designated ANN thread in this forum. With that in mind, communication between you and their service is relatively easier and closer. While their website may not offer any KYC documents, you are still putting yourself at risk in the event that a conflict arises.

Like what I always say, prevention is always better than cure; put your money in a more secured and reliable website instead!
1708  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I Know this is scam but I don't know how they go about it. on: August 26, 2022, 11:58:14 PM
As a general rule, ignore these types of messages on any social media platform. No one would ever give you $500 or any amount for free without a caveat- these scammers generally have some sort of shenanigans that will only lose you more money in the process. If there is one thing I learned over the years of looking/finding scammers in this forum, it is never to trust anyone who messages you randomly. Chances are, you would probably and most likely get scammed.

Unfortunately, the best remedy is to just ignore and prevent dealing with these people. Though being curious about their replies is okay, just do not fall from their attractive offers as this would only leave you in to trouble.
1709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC on Gambling Business on: August 26, 2022, 11:49:30 PM
Is this unavoidable in crypto based casinos? Or are crypto gamblers also required to do KYC? If so, crypto can't be as anonymous as it used to be because we realize that today's governments have gone too far in controlling a person's identity and what they use the internet for.

And will this trigger crypto-based casinos that use wallet logins to develop better because they don't need to register as usual and only need to connect their wallets to the casino? Or do they also need to do KYC? Or for this type of casino can still be "forced" to do KYC?

KYC is a feature that was added in order to protect the gambling establishment. With the widespread and popularity of online gambling platforms due to COVID, governments of respective countries implemented stringent regulations in order to maintain their license. Though KYC may seem sketchy at first, just remember that these companies are somehow forced to do this in order to comply with the laws of their country.

If you think that KYC somehow defeats the purpose of anonymity, then choose a gambling platform that is somehow popular already in order to protect your identity. Remember, big gambling websites would never compromise your information as this would also destroy their long-term reputation that they built over the years.
1710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this the Extreme of Gambling Addiction? on: August 26, 2022, 11:43:24 PM
I think this isa crime and a felony that takes place on the face of gambling. Meaning, these people who were charged were really burglars and gambling was only an incidental to the cause of their crime. It just so happened that the platform that they tried stealing involved gambling, which is incidental to their crime.

I will not categorized this as an extreme form of gambling addiction but rather an extreme case of a crime that went wide-scale. Generally, people who gamble have their respective reasons on why they do such. Most of the time, these addicts are also fond of the entertainment provided by gambling which fuels their addiction more. This is a target purely on the proceeds and the money, which I do not think involves addiction at all.
1711  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Philippine Universities Team Up With Binance To Offer Bitcoin Courses on: August 25, 2022, 11:44:04 PM

1712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Currency acceptance Everywhere on: August 25, 2022, 05:36:49 PM
As far as I know, one of the local exchanges in India has closed down due to implementing stringent regulations and guidelines by their government? Not sure on how it proceeded but the fact that there are people accepting cryptocurrencies as payment to their services/products gives hope for its wide-scale implementation in the future.

To be honest, there are other forum members who posted several threads introducing and implementing the payment of cryptocurrencies in their respective businesses. The more people post about it, the more businesses would accept cryptocurrency as a mode of alternative payment.
1713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should Employers Screen Applicants for Problem Gambling Before Employment? on: August 25, 2022, 04:40:24 PM
I feel like this is too much and its against basic human rights. You may think I am exaggerating this but think about this: People's hobbies are their private life outside working life. If you don't mix each other and mess your life you should be freely do anything you want. And all these so called scammer gamblers are scammers at first, gamblers at second. Being gambler doesn't automatically turn you into scammer/fraud. It is about personality.

There has to be some sort of balance in knowing the private hobbies of the person and their respective interests to the company.

Regardless, I think companies should not mandatorily infringe the privacy of their employees just because they gamble. Even if they have such hobbies but they still meet the expectations of the company, then I see no reason for these employers to screen their applicants. This should only be done if their output is hindered due to the intense and extreme causes of gambling addiction.

As much as this is favourable to the employee, employers should not screen but rather promote a healthy workspace that encourages different lifestyles. They should, in no case, meddle with their private affairs.
1714  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Describe what Bitcoin has done for you on: August 24, 2022, 06:01:33 PM
Imagine living in a third-world country where job opportunities are highly competitive with minimum wages that pay $10-$13/day. In addition, inflation has reached a high 5.1% in the country where prices of goods and general commodities are continuously increasing. That is the life of an average Filipino worker who lives just at the average income threshold.

When my friend introduced to me Bitcoin, this provided me not only the opportunity to learn about its revolutionary payment method, but it also gave me the privilege of working online. The fact that campaign signatures pay very decently (at least relative to my standards) is truly a blessing not to be taken for granted.

As someone who also lives with a single father in a family of 5, majority of my BTC proceeds are allocated to my brothers, being the eldest among the 3. Campaign signatures provided me this opportunity to purchase my own work materials and also help my father whenever he needs something.
1715  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Looking for 0.026 BTC Loan on: August 24, 2022, 05:38:40 PM
Just to give you guys some information, I tried asking for a loan of 0.026 BTC since it totals to around ~php 35,000. Apparently, may nakita kasi akong FB ad that sells this Macbook air M1 for only 33,900. I have been eyeing on it for the past two (2) weeks and nag ask na din ako sa international lenders natin 2-3 weeks ago.
FORTUNATELY, my request had been rejected kasi kaninang umaga, nakita ko na scam pala yung Facebook Page na yun (though it had like 75k+ likes on FB).

Blessing in disguise sa akin to since muntik na din pala ako ma-scam on my own way. Imagine, paying a php 35,000 loan tapos na-scam din pala ako.

I will lock this thread maybe by tomorrow- baka may mga final thoughts or messages kayong gustong sabihin!

1716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How would you prefer your casino reward? on: August 24, 2022, 03:26:50 PM
Quick question, on your first visit to a casino to play slots, you were offered a bonus reward as incentive for visiting, if you are given the option to either receive your rewards in form of free spins for you to try out your luck and maybe win more, or direct cash reward, which will you choose?

Since you mentioned first visit to a casino, I would most likely pick free spins as the incentive for visiting. The reason behind such decision as it gives me a feel and an introduction to slots. This is solely considering that I am visiting the casino for the first time and I have no idea on what to expect on slots. The element of mystery and adventure still lurks which makes the game interesting as a whole.

But, my answer would be different if I am a seasoned gambler. I would rather prefer to take the cash instead of taking the free spins due to the element of risk in slots.
1717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling schools importance on: August 24, 2022, 02:18:10 PM
Like every other games, there are academies to get the training, But I never heard of gambling schools to train the people.

Do you think we need gambling schools to prepare people for gamble?

No and I do not think that this is necessary given the nature of gambling.

Why would the government or private institutions create a gambling school whereas they could create real schools for education? Not to mention, the nature of gambling resides upon the core issue of odds and risks- which is nothing absolute or guaranteed. Creating a gambling school will not only promote gambling as a form of potential destruction of one's future but it will also be waste of funds for the people.
1718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Poll: In your opinion is this the end for Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency? on: August 22, 2022, 06:19:45 PM
So we have seen Cryptocurrency hit with many huge scams, come under increased scrutiny and regulation, as well as being the subject of environmental concerns.

As of late, Bitcoin is trading at the lowest levels I've seen it trade in quite some time.

So I made this poll to gage the latest opinions of the users here.

The question is, due to any of these issues, or a combination of them, are we finally going to see the end of Bitcoin and
Cryptocurrency or is it still a safe haven?

I do not think so. Despite its price being significantly reduced compared past year, this is nothing but a natural consequence because of its innate nature and origin. Remember, check the price history index of BTC and you would see that its volatility is responsible on why its price is relatively low on the market.

Remember also that there are countries who are starting to adapt BTC as a form of legal tender. Not to mention, more and more countries also have started to integrate it into their finances and education system. The governments now see its potential use and long-term advantage to the economy.

Just to reiterate, regardless of its price being low, that does not equate that this would be the end of Bitcoin let alone all the cryptocurrencies present in the market.
1719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: P2p is the original Satoshi strategy for Bitcoin exchange on: August 22, 2022, 05:56:43 PM
So for highly secure and privacy-consciousness use only p2p to exchange Bitcoin and hold your Bitcoin in your wallets.
The number of people that offer P2P services is now becoming alarming, now even almost more than the amount of persons that hold bitcoin. OP as you encourage users here to exchange their bitcoins for cash via P2P only, it is also in line for you to advise that they be careful as to who the engage with as regards the transactions of their cryptocurrency. Engage with only trusted P2P users if possible those you know, and understand that randomly selecting an individual to transact with every time can put you in line to meet someone who possesses a dubious character.

I agree with your statement. Given that local exchanges are still the most convenient way for Bitcoin exchange, some exchanges have been so stringent with their requirements that they tend to be very restrictive. Binance offers p2p exchanges but you run at the risk of selling your BTCs to a stranger. That is why, you must only transact your BTCs with people who have at least 96+ positive user feedback to avoid any stolen funds or problems with your transaction.

I do hope that more exchanges would be open to converting one's BTC to a designated currency conveniently.
1720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you play Slots? (long sessions / jumper / focussed) on: August 22, 2022, 05:27:23 PM
I am very curious to know how people are playing Slots.

Option A : Do you play one slot for a long time, until you hit the feature or until you win something big?

Option B : Do you jump between different slots, play for a while and then jump to the next slot?

Option C : Do you set a target amount for each Slot and then stay with that?

I think people's success with slots might be linked to the way they are playing it, so for instance... people playing one slot until it pay out, might be more succesful, than the person that are jumping from one slot to the next.  Huh

What strategy do you think, will lead to the maximum profits? (Variance and RTP of each slot also determine the way that you are supposed to play on the different slots)

Let's discuss.....  Wink

From my experience before when I attempted to gamble, I only allocated a specific amount of money in a given slot. Once the money allocated is done or finished, I will not spend any more further due to the risks involved in slots; so basically, I chose option C in your question.

The problem with slots is the very thing itself- it is definitely risk and it requires no other interaction at all. You just push the level and pray that the numbers or images match all together. While this game may be simple, such simplicity is what makes it very attractive in luring the attention of people. I remember I read this article that in order to win the jackpot prize of slots, you would most probably spend more than the entire jackpot itself.
