1663  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin will always remain the best choice on: September 05, 2022, 06:38:08 PM
I get that the mass of people here will speak in favor of bitcoins, and it is good, not that I am trying to say the other options you compared with bitcoins are not relevant, but from your topic OP- "WHY BITCOIN WILL ALWAYS REMAIN THE BEST CHOICE", do you really think bitcoins will "always" remain the best choice? taking cognizance of the fact that there could be another ground breaking innovation. For the now bitcoin is the best choice, but we can't say it will always remain the best choice. At a time people also believed gold to remain the best choice, until the reality of bitcoins came, change and development is constant.

I agree with your statement.

It is not always about being the best but it is almost always about the payment method that is most efficient. Is BTC the best choice in terms of day-to-day payment? Is BTC the best choice in using as the main medium of currency around the globe? I doubt about that, but there are some aspects that you can consider BTC to be the best.

At the end of the day, it is always about recognizing which medium to use in the best and most efficient way possible. BTC is not always the best and that is fine. There are some aspects where fiat will overwhelm and shine, but that does not mean that fiat is indeed the best in investing.
1664  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: in debt but want to invest. on: September 05, 2022, 06:24:23 PM
right now i’m in debt for $6k but i want to keep DCA. should i focus more on pay my debt down or investing?

Having a debt is a hanging liability that will continuously haunt you and your profits unless you settle it as soon as possible. If you have an ongoing debt but you want to invest, then chances are that your debt would not be settled for the time being.

Ask yourself, why do you want to invest? Do you want to do the latter in order to pay your current and outstanding liabilities? If that is the case, then you are relying on something that is risky in nature and not absolute.

Pay your debt first then invest your money, if any. Apply jobs and use the opportunity to learn from your mistakes in order to avoid any liability from incurring.
1665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Set Of Action When Your Account Face An Issue on: September 05, 2022, 05:11:34 PM
So you're playing in a casino and you triple your wager but when you try to withdraw you cannot what set of actions are you going to do,
Are you going to screenshot your dashboard and your deposit, are you going to create a ticket first and ask support what happens to your account or you will ask chat support and screenshot all conversations because of the fear of getting your account ban, or you will directly post your concern here in Bitcointalk.

Evidence is always king. In the event that you encounter any issue that should not happen regularly, take a screenshot and submit a ticket it to their customer service. If they have an active thread in this forum, also do notify them with your problem and provide all the necessary proof + evidence that will substantiate your claim and allegation.

It does not hurt to take a screenshot of every problem that you encounter. You have every right to fight for your funds if you believe you have been compromised or taken advantage off. There are lots of people who claim that a gambling website defrauded them (might be true or not) but they failed to submit and add any evidence to support their claim.
1666  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are people doing except holding Bitcoin? on: September 05, 2022, 04:47:05 PM
~
There are also traders to wherever exchange they preferred to trade. Could be anywhere and they're actively trading top coin.
I was a day trader back in the days around year 2018-2019, although not rich like the OP mentioned, I can relate to some points in here aside from just "holding a Bitcoin".

In the harsh side, there could have been possibly a holder of Bitcoin that got locked out of their wallet as they did not remember their private key along with their password. I can hear the regrets.

Personally, I treat my BTCs as an investment that I can always convert to cash whenever I need it or if the situation calls for such desperation. BTCs are too precious to be converted to cash due to their inflationary nature. Given that only a limited number of BTCs are in circulation, you can definitely expect that its price will continue to increase as time passes by.

I envisioned that my BTCs will work as if I own a business- where money moves daily (increase/decrease) without the need of doing anything in particular.
1667  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Forex vs Crypto trading on: September 05, 2022, 04:20:51 PM

Sa totoo lang, almost same lang naman sila and if you don’t have much time sa pagtratrade mas ok mag focus nalang sa isa which i think cryptocurrency is still the best option. Magandan ang opportunity dito kase its very flexible and maraming option para kumita, need lang talaga muna aralin bago sumabak ng husto.

I have lots of friends who do forex trading and ang sinasabi nila is mag focus lang daw talaga on one platform. For example, if mas prefer mo ang forex, then focus lang dito kasi sensitive and volatile din ito parang cryptocurrencies.

Personally, cryptocurrency trading ang mas pipiliin ko if given a chance pero I would also advise against trading dahil napaka risky nga ng environment na ito.

If you have prior experience sa forex, then I really suggest to explore cryptocurrency trading. Baka mas mataas ang high-risk, high-reward scenario dito.
1668  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gamdom Crypto Casino breaking the law? on: September 05, 2022, 04:16:05 PM
Have you contacted their customer support in this forum? As far as I know, they have an active gambling thread/board that lots of people actively participate in rewards and referrals. You can try messaging them here to follow-up on your request about the alleged "bug" that costed some withdrawal issues on your end.

Gamdom started last 2018 and they have been around for at least four (4) years now. I doubt that they would ruin absolutely their hard-earned reputation over the years against this single withdrawal issue you are currently encountered. I highly encourage that you provide all the necessary screenshots + proof/evidence of your messages with them, OP.
1669  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Ano ang plano niyo ngayong bear market? on: September 04, 2022, 11:57:54 PM

Dito masusubukan gaano tayo katatag.

This is only the time na magkakaroon tayo ng opportunity to buy cheap coins lalo na iyong mga top coins na di abot kaya kapag bull run na.

Actually kung titignan talaga, kung madami kang pera na naka store sa wallet mo, medyo nakakatakot mag HODL kasi the slightest increase/decrease sa presyo could mean a gain or loss of thousands of pesos. Pero since wala pa naman akong ganun kalaking halaga dito sa sa aking wallet, advisable nga talaga kapag mag HODL muna for the meantime and i-take advantage ang situation na ito.

Naalala ko lang last 2017, buong year na mababa ang price ng BTC tapos bigla itong nag skyrocket nung 2018. Sana ganito din mangyare in the following years to come.
1670  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Game on: September 04, 2022, 10:49:23 PM
I think that a slots algorithm is something that doesn't make sense, because how can you predict an outcome if it has an internal random factor? There is no way, the random is the random, that is why the slots are closely linked to the luck of the person, as much as you want to get a good result from the slots it is because you really have a lot of luck, I do not see another option.

According to my personal criteria, I have always liked pragmatic slots, and I have a lot of fun, especially those from stake.com and bitcasino.io, for me they are the best, besides they are my favorites, but if you are looking for patterns or something similar, do not could be programmed to beat the slots.

I read an article that the chances of a person in winning slots is very miniscule to the point that the money that you spent trying will be higher compared to the grand prize money pool. The funny thing is, there are tons of people who do slots everyday- maybe this is because lots of advertisements, promos, and picture are being scattered across the gambling establishment attracting players to play slots.

Personally, I prefer to play card games since it has this element of skill associated with it. While luck still realms the odds, at least there is that factor where skill will matter in determining who will win in a given game.
1671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you think bear market is affecting Bitcoin (Crypto currencies) so badly on: September 04, 2022, 05:00:52 PM
In my own opinion crypto investment just like any other business is not a mare for weaken Hearted follow
Cause it's the time to humble the riches and en-riches the strong minder holders are winners in this space
What do you think will help to help boost the mindset of investors again after all the ordeal?

Nothing- the price of BTCs are cold-hearted facts that people must understand. Convincing someone to invest into anything without them fully committing is just throwing money into something that they are unsure of.

The best way to deal with this bear market is by basing its price on its price history index. The fact that the price of BTC had grown tenfold over the last years means that its potential to double or triple again its value may soon happen. Given that the halving may happen this 2024-2025, this is a great opportunity for people to purchase and HODL their BTCs.
1672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting Strategies & Betting Psychology on: September 04, 2022, 04:37:10 PM
You can find the extensive lists of Betting Strategies & Betting Psychology here: https://sportstatist.com/betting-strategies/

As you know, some players prefer to bet following certain betting strategies. At the same time, some players use their own betting strategies, and some do not even know about their existence, or do not believe in their effectiveness. In short, this topic is intended to discuss betting strategies and the psychology of betting as well...

I think this has something to do or associated with superstitious beliefs where people would follow a certain technique or mantra that will help them ease their anxiety.

While that may be the case, there are some betting strategies that have been used over the years. Personally, I practiced using the Martingale system of betting in order to recover quickly my losses. The only downside is, I have to prepare a huge amount of capital every time I bet since my betting fees grow exponentially every time I lose.
1673  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Benefits of been a bitcointalk member on: September 04, 2022, 03:59:57 PM
You wouldn't know Bitcointalk is big place until you become one of it member, bitcointalk is more than a place a place to ask questions and get fast reply, you wouldn't know the value until you become one of the user.
Becoming the forum member isn't enough, because many people joined the forum and become inactive, once you are not active in the forum, you wouldn't know how educative and important the forum is. Bitcointalk is like a school to me, because I learn new things everyday.

Most newbies nowadays are blindly focused too much on the earning aspect of this forum. I mean, there is nothing wrong with that mindset but if this seems to cloud their judgement to the point that they try too hard on ranking-up, thereby contributing to the overall spam on this forum, then it brings more harm than good.

Like what I always mentioned, just have fun in this forum. This is a learning platform designed in order to share and create your ideas with one another. Satoshi envisioned this forum as the gateway to an innovation that he left, hoping that people would soon utilize and discuss more improvements later on.

This forum is nothing but a blessing to everyone. Not only did this gave an opportunity to learn more about the technology behind cryptocurrencies but it also provided countless of doors that opened new beginnings to people.
1674  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not panic. Everything will get better on: September 04, 2022, 03:24:23 PM
1. Be patient, don't panic.
2. Buy and hold.

The first attitude is very suitable to be applied and very many traders experience tremendous panic when they see the market price drop, especially Bitcoin is now at $18k.

It's becoming increasingly apparent that other coins are very influential on Bitcoin. So, the opportunity to buy to increase the volume of Bitcoin can be done again for long-term investments. The current market situation in my opinion is a very tough test to be applied by those who are impatient.

Do not panic. Everything will get better.

Actually OP, it is easier said than done.

Given that there are people who invested thousands to millions of $$$ on their BTC investment, this means that the slightest movement on its price could mean an increase/decrease of over thousands of dollars on their investment. So, while the thought of HODLing and hope may give some sort of assurance, people who have lots of dollars on their investment should be ready to take all the contingencies and plans in order to maximize the their gain or loss on their investments.
1675  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is a game you would like to see in an online crypto casino? on: September 03, 2022, 09:33:35 PM
Hey Bitcointalkers,

What games do you like to play (mobile, board games, easy game with friends, etc.) that you would love to see put into an online casino for real betting?

There have been a lot of successful yet simple games in online casinos like Heads or Tails, Over/Under, and more. We are looking to see what games you guys love and wonder if we can turn them into an online betting game!
I like to play Dice game on my Mobile phone. I feel comfortable playing it.  And I have brought this game to my verse because of which I am able to make a lot of profit from this game . And the dice game can be played well on my mobile screen.  That's why I play this game in my spare time

Board games in mobile phone is a very good ideas and I  also agree with Scrabble in casino is more fun because if we are knowledgeable enough then for sure a big chance of winning we have and also for those who have not enough or have a little knowledge then they can also learn through this game.  Fun, learning and earning is a good habits so if there is an opportunity for this then grab it for my ideas.

I think that the challenge of a casino is implementing a game that is simple and fun, yet relatively quick and easy to learn by many. Scrabble is definitely fun in terms of playing but the amount of time that a person plays is relatively long compared to other games that are present in the market.

I would love to play a game in a casino which is similar to Uno, where the element of luck + skill can be materially seen and observed. In addition, I would like also to see a game similar to chess where you can battle against an opponent with luck + skill present.
1676  Local / Pilipinas / Re: KAALAMAN SA CRYPTOCURRENCY on: September 03, 2022, 08:51:14 PM
Actually medyo nang hinayang nga ako nung mga time na mababa pa bitcoin eh instead naka pag invest ako nag doubt ako kaya one of my biggest regrets in life din that time naabutan ko kasi ung price ng $3k usd nung last time na march eh kung nag grab ko lang ung opportunity that time is solid sana kaso ayun nga it is all about the risk tsaka marami din natulong sakin ung na enligten ako sa mundo ng crypto kasi nga pwede din as a student is kumita ka ng pera basta alam mo lang paano gumagana ang risk dito well soon sana maka bili ako ulit ng dump.

1677  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need help with signature on: September 03, 2022, 04:21:04 PM
Hello everyone. Some accounts have cool signatures, so I thought about how can I make one for myself. Maybe there is some service to create a signature? Or is it making in some other way? I couldn't find anything suitable on the forum yet.

Signatures are one of the ways in order to advertise a certain business in this forum. Generally, most gambling platforms that are listed in this forum have a corresponding signature campaign in order to attract new users to their gambling website.

Since signatures involve advertisement, it necessary follows that an account must be at an appropriate rank in order to wear such. The higher the forum rank is, the better and cooler signatures that they can wear which also follows that more payment is given.

If you are asking about creating a specific signature, then you can offer your services in this forum. But if you are mainly asking on wearing such signatures, then increase your forum rank in order to wear them.
1678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 03, 2022, 04:00:01 PM
The Lakers today seem to be close to making a deal that will get rid of Russell Westbrook and get them Mike Conley...  I'm not sure how they plan to pull off this wizardry but apparently they're getting close enough for people to be making reports about it.  Granted Mike Conley isn't exactly a young guy either, but his game is less centered around athleticism so it might be a step in the right direction for the Lakers.  Although not ideal...
I've heard rumors too that the Lakers are targetting every player that the Jazz would like to dump. But I don't think the Jazz just want a Westbrook trade, they will need one more piece for their reconstruction. A draft or a young player. It's pretty obvious how they ended up in a trade with the Cavaliers.

Jazz and OKC are now tied with a stock of 15 first-round picks, I bet the Jazz want to add more if ever they will let Conley and Bojan go. And that's the formula to get rid of Westbrook for the Lakers and maybe 1 or 2 more picks for the Jazz.
While in rebuilding mode, they could just finish WB's contract or they could let go of him the next trade when another team eyes an interest.

The Lakers are running out of time to unload Westbrick and get the necessary players to utilize while Lebron is still playing at a superstar level. I will assume that the Lakers after losing that Irving potential due to their reluctance to give up their future draft picks are now willing to give it to the Jazz in order to obtain either Conley, Clarkson and Bojan. The Lakers should do it now because there are also many teams that are interested to take the good remaining players of Utah.

But since I am an underdog fan. I would love the Phoenix Suns to acquire 1 or 2 or even the 3 remaining stars of Utah. CP3 is old and definitely needs more support.

They may or not unload Westbrook from the Laker roster, I guess Ham already have a plan how to utilize Westbrook and Pat Bev on both offensive and defensive ends. I personally don't think they have run out of options on where to trade WB. And the Utah Jazz's Clarkson and co might be their last resort. Otherwise they'll have to run it back again with LeBron, AD, and Westbrook leading the squad.
This will be a great of opportunity for Ham to prove himself how good he is as a coach. Handling this current Laker roster is a bit challenging and pressuring specially that you have LeBron on your team. We all know LeBron is a good leader and may contradict with the coaches decision at some point.
I'd still love to see the Lakers run it back again this season.
Westbrooks contract is too expensive for any team to consider paying to get a washed up player or a bench player. I feel like he will sit alot of the season on the Lakers bench unless someone gets injured, which is very possible.

The problem with Westbrook is that he is sometimes inconsistent with his games. Maybe it is the way he plays like he wants to be the star player of every team but combining him with other superstars makes him somewhat least effective compared when he was in the OKC. Remember the time he managed to at least get a triple-double every game? We rarely see those stats anymore and people also criticize his jumpshot scoring.

I hope that Westbrook may find his rhythm in the Lakers. You really can see that he is struggling- which is I doubt that he would opt to be traded in to another team.
1679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul v Anderson Silva [rumours] on: September 03, 2022, 03:29:33 PM
Honestly all these fights are getting old and tired.  It's a bunch of amateurs fighting and it shows in the fights.  The only reason people watch is because they are popular elsewhere.  Otherwise it's uninspiring watching these people actually box.  Was a cool fad for a minute but it's tired now.

I very much agree with your statement.

This is just a clusterfest of fighters going around lately in the sports match. You see celebrities fighting boxers; and boxers fighting martial artists which are different from their sport origin. While I do think that there is a market for this in some audiences, I cannot help but to feel overwhelmed and tired with these kinds of news. It is like, you see these fighters fighting without giving their 100% on the match.

While this may be the case, I just hope that the future of fighting sports will not be centered around these kinds of fights.
1680  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be worth zero? on: September 03, 2022, 05:55:11 AM
We all know how volatile and unpredictable the cryptocurrency market can be. One month, a coin may be at its peak of value, and the next, it may have almost no value at all. Unfortunately, this is simply the name of the game when it comes to cryptography. But what would happen if the oldest and most valuable asset on the market, Bitcoin, dropped to zero?

https://portalcripto.com.br/en/crypto-crash-2022-bitcoin-pode-valer-zero/
font: https://portalcripto.com.br

There is always that possibilty that the value of BTC can be worth zero, but this is far from happening in this reality.

There are a number of factors and indicators that drive the price of BTC in the market (e.g. demand and supply, government restrictions, creation of new cryptocurrencies, etc.) but one factor that may entirely affect its price is through government prohibition. If a country starts to prohibit its usage and almost all countries would follow that step, then expect its price to slowly become obsolete in the market.

Though that may be the case, I seriously doubt that we will arrive at that point that all countries would prohibit its usage given that there is a positive effect currently on BTC.
