1641  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA's EuroBasket is rigged with a proof on: September 12, 2022, 04:40:31 PM
Proof:
https://twitter.com/cryptosfaucets/status/1569024965391056898?s=20&t=kMy7E-HY2yNV-jEnzESVJw

Seriously, how likely is it that 3 games in a row will end up 94-86 each one?

Is this truly a coincidence?!

 Cheesy Huh

Or perhaps we can all say that FIBA is rigging the games somehow using the referees or through something like that.

I do think that this is purely based on coincidence. I mean, FIBA's EuroBasket is heavily regulated and secured given that it is done internationally. With that level of competition, I also doubt that the teams and the players would subject themselves to the potential risk of investigation in the event that they indeed rigged the match. This will not only destroy their reputation but also ruin their respective careers as well.

These things happen; even the things that may seem rigged happens coincidentally with all the odds and possibilities wanting to happen. In addition, if I were to rig a game, I would not ever do it three (3) games in a row with the same score- at least give it some gap per game to make it less obvious.
1642  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some Popular Themes for Online Slot on: September 12, 2022, 04:26:31 PM
I think my favorite among those I have seen for now is the fruit themed.
I think it gives me this nostalgic feeling from the early 2010's when games like Candy Crush were at their peek of popularity among smartphone users. The super bright colors  and the cartoon art style of the fruits are quite similar to Candy Crush franchise games. It makes it more enjoyable imo.

This is actually interesting- I really thought that slots nowadays have this generic theme where it just contains some random figures on the screen without any twist to it. I just observed that gambling, in general, has been steadily innovating their "mundane" games by providing some twist and extra features to attract more customers in the process.

Personally, I would prefer to play slots in a fantasy environment where it would contain some spells, etc. But in all honesty, I would avoid playing slots long-term and just try to play with it from time-to-time just to appreciate the technology of it.

Not familiar with this product pero it looks interesting kase medyo stress din lately, and good thing nagaaccept sila ng BTC. Looking forward for some review as well about the product, I thought this is a e-commerce site, health products pala yung binebenta nila. Well, back to school na nga at dagdag stress na naman ito panigurado.  Cheesy

I am also not familiar with this product pero it's good that there are merchants starting to view and accept BTC as an alternative payment to their products/services. Though medyo niche yung market ng website na ito since it focuses on "brain productivity", the fact still remains that they accept crypto as payment.

Hopefully may mga big merchants na dito sa bansa ang tumanggap na ng cryptocurrency as payment. Medyo hassle + may fees if you convert your BTCs to cash sa mga local exchanges if gusto natin bumili ng mga products, unlike if may gateway directly in purchasing something using cryptocurrencies.
1644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Censorship in Bitcoin online forums on: September 11, 2022, 04:55:17 PM
I recently made a post on Reddit calling out market manipulation using Bitcoin. This post was removed from /r/Bitcoin without notification or reason.

I think there is an army of bots watching certain social media sites to ensure certain topics aren't discussed.

I'll be spending a few Satoshi to embed the message in Blockchain as it's been censored on social media.

Unlike social media, Blockchain cannot be censored by bots.

This is actual utility beyond just recording transactional records.

Unfortunately, Reddit has strict implementations and guidelines where they have the discretion to tag any post which they think violates their written rules and regulations. That is also one of the reasons on why this forum (bitcointalk.org) is much more bigger and reputable compared to any other forum or discussion of BTCs.

With their stringent rules, I doubt that the discussion there would be as meaningful compared here since no one can voice out their own opinions without them being tagged or the thread being deleted.

I really suggest that instead of writing your message there, create a thread here and start a discussion. People here would most likely respond and share their thoughts on the topic that you will provide.
1645  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Game on: September 11, 2022, 04:28:34 PM
The entertainment aspect attracted me so much, there are many reasons and ways we play casinos, but what we do is one, which is gambling. I was not a player until I joined BTT because it is obvious that it is everywhere in the gambling and discussion section, and I need the experience.

My playing is with little amounts and I do that mainly to replace watching movies and all that. A kind of another hobby if I must say, yet I must try not to get addicted.
You do need experience but you also need self-control so that you don't get dragged into gambling because those of you who are new to gambling may get addicted to gambling. You must continue to maintain the use of small amounts of money because that is what can help you not to become addicted to gambling in addition to the self-control factor. And don't gamble too often so that your mind doesn't think about the defeat you will experience later.

There are two (2) types of gamblers: first is the one who chases for profits; the other is the one who finds it purely for entertainment.

People who chase for profits usually go all-in. They tend to gamble and play with the odds in hopes of winning large sums of money for their personal need; or for repayment purposes. The other type of gambler is the one who experiences it primarily for the entertainment it provides. Generally, these types of gamblers are the ones who find gambling to be enjoyable to the point that they care less in winning, but more on the adrenaline side.

With that said, you will never experience any addiction until you personally try them. Limit your playing time and only allocate a small-portion of your money in order to practice self-control.
1646  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I use Bitcoin in a country that it is banned? on: September 11, 2022, 04:06:36 PM
This is not to preach lawlessness, yet the fact remains that there are many countries' governments that are less informed about Bitcoin and the benefits therein, thereby depriving their citizens of these benefits. But the good part is that some of these countries do not ban the accessibility and domains of crypto wallets and exchanges, which makes it possible for anyone to disregard the government and use Bitcoin, but carefully.

Taking Nigeria as an example, the most suggested approach is through P2P, it is working well, but I read that many have had their bank accounts banned, especially when there is a huge inflow, or the amount becomes much in its accumulation with time without a good explanation for it.

What are your suggestions for me and other beginners/users that are in this condition but want to participate in the technology and benefits that Bitcoin brings over the banks and government interference?

I think the best way to transact BTC in a country that prohibited its transaction is to avoid using any p2p that requires any submission of IDs that tells your location. While Binance is independent, avoid transacting in large amounts that would cause some doubts on your local bank. In addition, avoid any purchase that would alert the government- in other words, anything that the government is affiliated with, avoid them.

For added protection, you may also use VPNs or IP proxies whenever you make and create transactions. While your government may prohibit its transactions, this is what BTC was made for- financial freedom in your transactions.
1647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best way of contact steamers who do live stream their gamble? on: September 11, 2022, 01:29:43 PM
Hi guys! I need some good streamers who do live stream their gamble. So what is the best way of contacting them? If you know about it, or you have a good list of streamers please share. Or if you are a streamer you can contact me, and we can make a suitable deal for streaming. Thank you.

I think the best way is through reaching them on their YouTube accounts or any social media platform that they have. Generally, these streamers post their details on the page itself for possible affiliations and offers (such as this one).

I would suggest checking on Twitch.tv as there are lots of streamers who majority streams at least every single thing. You would surely find some suitable persons that match your qualifications, sujo!

Since you mentioned about streaming, I am excited to see as to what you have in mind- maybe some streamers who would advertise blackjack? Anyway, best of luck sujo!
1648  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Stake.com got recked by me on: September 11, 2022, 11:59:35 AM
This is new account i opened for the ufc fight today read the thread.
You will be found out sooner or later with that. That's easy to recognize by just searching that same balance amount on their system. Ban evasion or multiple accounting really is something to every casino that should not be tolerated.

Stake is a reputable gambling website that already established its name in the horizons of the internet. They were able to acquire Drake as their brand ambassador and they also consistently give rewards to their designated gamblers on their community. As it stands, all gambling websites have their respective TOS where they are free to stipulate anything that they may see illegal, wrong, or prejudicial against them.

What you did was you evaded your ban and created another account to bet. As much as you prefer to gamble in Stake, their TOS prohibits the action you just did and you must accept the consequences of your action.
1649  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can this be the reason some people are afraid to invest in Bitcon? on: September 11, 2022, 12:10:53 AM
The typical human mind initially considers the fictitious drawbacks and rejects the possibility of another type of money. However, a growing number of individuals are visiting exchanges like Binance, Primexbt, Kraken, etc. People are afraid because they were taught to be afraid as child. This is, unfortunately, what the educational system does.

I am also a victim. Wish I had joined this forum earlier.

I think the simple answer would be due to the volatility of BTC in its price.

With media stigmatizing the view of cryptocurrencies, it created this artificial fear and hope where if you invest into BTC, you would become instantly rich. This is what media portrayed BTC to be to the point that people would blindly invest into it without knowing its effects and purpose. This is exactly what happened last 2017 when the price skyrocketed and plummeted down, then people blamed BTC and tagged it as a scam.

1650  Economy / Gambling / Re: Drake vs Stake part 2 on: September 10, 2022, 04:53:00 PM
Did you enjoy or watch the stream?

Full Stream: https://youtu.be/7V8az7UdyY0

It's entertaining to watch but I wasn't able to finish watching. I've watched some streamed videos of Drake and he always provides entertaining gameplays by betting huge amounts. If it's for partnership purposes, I don't still see anything wrong with it. He makes money while entertaining his viewers at the same time. Stake is also a reputable gambling site so having a partnership with it is still beneficial to Drake.

Like what I previously mentioned, the fact that Stake can offer a percentage of their ownership or $$$ to Drake means that the gambling website is superbly profitable on their end. They could actually ask other artists/celebrities to partner with their gambling website in order to boost their reputation further and attract more people in the process.

As someone who has not attempted to gamble online, maybe this is the time to at least try gambling websites due to their prominence in the forum nowadays.
1651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul VS Anderson Silva October 29th on: September 10, 2022, 04:23:13 PM
Just saw this news. I am so sick and tired of this kid and his brother fighting these old dudes who aren’t even boxers. I mean Anderson Silva is 47 years old. I guess if I could fight someone who played a different sport, is much older and past their prime yet still make millions of dollars I’d do it to. I just want to see these dudes actually fight a legitimate boxer their own age.

Regardless I’ll be tuning in hoping for a Silva KO.

Man, I seriously agree with your statement.

These kinds of "exhibition fights" are just simply tiring to watch. Compared to the level of competition that these players used to do, I am pretty sure that they agreed to this fight mostly because of money. Maybe, the audience demands for these types of fight to happen (though I would not blame these fighters) but it somehow gives me the impression that it slightly degrades the value of boxing/fighting in these types of fights.

Nevertheless, I just hope that they give the crowd an interesting fight- not just simply a fight purely because of money.
1652  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Banks in the Philippines that the BSP classifies as a Digital Bank on: September 09, 2022, 11:33:29 PM
Just a quick question, ano ang implication kapag ang isang bangko ay categorized as a "digital bank" ? Does this mean na wala silang physical store and purely nag ooperate sila digitally or majority of their services digital ang ginagamit na features? Another thing, if digital bank ka ba, does this equate na meron kang feature for cryptocurrencies or optional pa din ito?

Pero it is actually good to see na meron mga digital bank dito sa Pilipinas. Given na lumalaganap na din ang teknolohiya, natural lang makakita tayo na ang mga bangko ay nag aadopt at nagiging innovative sa mga pagbabago.
1653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Importance of Multiplayer Gaming in Gambling Industry on: September 09, 2022, 11:21:46 PM

Question in hand
What do you think is the effect of enhancing Multiplayer Gaming implementation in the Gambling industry?

It seems like esports is a heavily competitive field with a huge fan base in the hundreds of millions. It's surprising that more gambling companies are not capitalising on these trends, because you tend to only see very old games like counterstrike and Dota accepting bets. I've seen FIFA short games on offer in one place but that seems to be the most recent example of a game you can bet on. It would get a whole new younger audience involved if they can offer tournaments in things like COD, battlefield and other titles.

This is an interesting take on a subject that is usually associated with negative impacts and effects. I have not considered playing multiplayer in an online game but if this increases my chances of winning, then I guess this would be beneficial in the long run.

Just a quick question, how would they implement multiplayer in the gambling industry? Given that there are tons of games available per gambling website, how will the proceeds be divided among the players? I just hope that by implementing a multiplayer feature, this will not create a toxic environment where one player would blame the other for the loss.
1654  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your plan with Bitcoin? on: September 09, 2022, 04:45:28 PM
<...snip...>
Just wondering how everyone else invests in Bitcoin? How often do you buy and how long do you plan to hold?

Fortunately, I have been participating into campaign signatures since 2017 and I have saved at least some BTCs. I still plan to HODL but I treat my BTCs as "emergency cash" in the event that if I need to purchase or use it, I can quickly and conveniently convert them into our local currency.

Since I do not have a stable form of income yet, the main method of me investing is through campaign signatures. Though you would not call that investing, but it is more focused on HODLing until I am satisfied with the current price of BTC in the market.
1655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Rise of Mobile Gambling Is Leaving People Ruined and Unable to Quit on: September 09, 2022, 04:32:21 PM
It is obvious that with these technological advancements also come some negativities for a lot of people, great example outlined here are gamblers who cannot control their gambling urges. Usually self-exclusion solves this problem. But there are still cases wherein people can access other gambling platforms due to a weak self-exclusion system. By this time, it would be best if the gambler would seek advice from a psychologist regarding their condition. Intervention really is the key and perhaps the last resort for addicted gamblers if they keep on finding ways to gamble even though they want to stop.

Given that the pandemic boosted at least almost all mobile outlets, this is a natural occurrence that mobile games have encountered. With this in mind, mobile gambling has become some sort of an addiction that everyone is potentially addicted to. Unfortunately, mobile gambling is more prone to addiction due to its convenience and availability, compared to physical casinos.

In all honesty, the barriers that one can encounter in playing mobile gambling games is nothing. In fact, some streamers even advertise the use of such which attracts the younger generation into this addiction.
1656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CHESS] FIDE Candidates Chess Tournament 2022 on: September 09, 2022, 04:22:17 PM
<snip...>

Again, evidence is king. Even if a person has been previously convicted of a crime, that does not entirely mean that they would do the same. Until the camp of Magnus presents solid proof and evidence of Hans cheating on the over-the-board tournament, the fact still remains that this has definitely took a toll to his reputation.

Let us just wait until they release more evidence in proving the cheating that Hans did. While I do respect Magnus, this is the time that he must present solid proof that will substantiate his claim against Hans cheating.
1657  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Netflix banned Bitcoin, Human Rights Foundation Donates. on: September 09, 2022, 04:10:04 PM
I mean, this really isn't the first time a service has banned bitcoin/crypto-related ads. Also, this is just Netflix — it's really no biggie compared to the likes of if Facebook/Twitter/Google does it. Heck I didn't even know Netflix had ads.

This is actually true- I never realized that Netflix had ads. Yet alone, I also did not realize that they banned cryptocurrency ads in the first place. While this may not entirely affect the price of cryptocurrencies in the market, this has some impact socially.

But it actually makes me happy that there are organizations that support BTC. The Human Rights Foundation even took the initiative of donating in order to support th movement of BTC. I just hope that more organizations follow this step for further enhancement of its reputation.
1658  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading gambling in another form? on: September 09, 2022, 03:52:04 PM
Gambling is betting something valuable on an uncertainty outcome right? Isn't this the same with Trading?/i mean even pro traders said out of 10 trades you can lose 4 and win 6, is this not a form of gambling? I had this argument with few of my friends that are traders some hours ago and I will like to here from you all what hou think about this.

While both may involve the nature of "risk", what separates gambling from trading is the means of achieving the income.

Gambling involves a plethora of games where you risk your funds into various games. People play different games where they have the opportunity of doubling or tripling their money in the process.

Trading, on the other hand, is more technical since it involves understanding the market. You based your decision primarily into both the extrinsic and intrinsic factors. While both again may involve risks, trading is more complex but it also has the higher chance of gaining profit in the end.
1659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CHESS] FIDE Candidates Chess Tournament 2022 on: September 08, 2022, 03:38:29 PM
Weird news from Magnus Carlsen, who withdrew from the tournament he took part in yesterday:

Quote
I've withdrawn from the tournament. I've always enjoyed playing in the
@STLChessClub, and hope to be back in the future
source

It looks especially strange against the background of Mourinho's quote that he attached to the message. Hopefully later we will find out what all this means, but it is clear to me that Carlsen is moving further and further away from chess. Sad.

Maybe it's just a break.

It is now clear (although Carlsen doesn't talk about it at all) that this was due to Carlsen's opponent Hans Niemann cheating. I find it strange that the organizers of the tournament invited Niemann, who has already been caught cheating in online tournaments 2 times. Despite the fact that the opinions of the grandmasters are divided (for example, Karpov believes that the defeat is only the result of Carlsen's bad play, and Nakamura that Niemann cheated), it seems to me that everything is very clear here.

I somehow disagree with your statement.

Hans Niemann is not just a chessplayer but he is a GM that rose to the ranks at just 19 years old. While he may cheated in the past, this does not absolutely equate that he cheated on his on-the-board game against Magnus. He actually provided a statement since he felt that these cheating allegations damaged his reputation. After his game with Magnus, chess.com instantly banned him without even showing any proof of the alleged cheating incident.

While I do respect Magnus in every way; and that he will not do something unfounded especially that this tournament is really prestigious, at this hour, evidence must be presented on how Hans cheated. Until they present concrete and convincing evidence on the cheating allegation, I wouldn't blatantly call Hans cheating in this tournament.
1660  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🪄 arcanebet.com 🪄 Your new favourite Crypto Casino 🎲 on: September 08, 2022, 03:31:16 PM
Hey there, OP!

Congratulations for creating your gambling website. After checking the website, I could't help but to give you some feedback and recommendations:

  • First, try creating a certain mascot for your gambling website. This will establish your identity and personal face that would set you apart from other gambling websites;
  • Second, if it is possible, try also creating a live chat or a chat box for the gamblers to make it interactive and inviting. The more people you see chatting, the more inviting the gambling website would be; and
  • Lastly, if you have the funds, try creating a campaign signature in this forum. This will not only boost your advertisement, but this also creates a prima facie assumption that you are genuine about this website. This somehow creates an impression that the fact you can dish out funds for advertisement, it means that you are more dedicated and serious about it.

Those are some of the recommendations that I wanted to share. Good luck on your journey, OP.
