Neptunes selling for less than $7k on ebay. Those who spent $10k or $13k and are still waiting for delivery - we salute you! And KNC would like to thank you for your charitable donations to build their datorhalls.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/KNC-KncMiner-Neptune-3Ths-3-Ths-20nm-Bitcoin-BTC-Miner-First-Batch-3TH-IN-HAND-/331248909042
$6,600.00

http://www.ebay.com/itm/KNC-KncMiner-Neptune-3Ths-3-Ths-20nm-Bitcoin-BTC-Miner-First-Batch-3TH-IN-HAND-/231268676280?pt=US_Virtual_Currency&hash=item35d8aff2b8
$6,900.00
Actually it currently takes 10 days with 3.3 TH/s to mine a bitcoin.
Damn that's bad.

Looks like Neptombers, all costs considered, paid about $2000 per bitcoin.
So they just lied to people, nothing more or less. Like the lie of claiming they would deliever all units by Oct 15th, even though they knew from the beginning of October they could never achieve that. And a million others if I could be bothered to dig them out.

And I noted 3 other lies knc told to decieve customers above, please address those too if you wish to defend KNC's policy of deceipt.
KNC's entire business is built on a pathological level of lies/fraud/deception/misrepresentation.

Nice summary of my points  Cheesy

You are disputing those facts?

- Yes, Neptunes are selling for only $7k on ebay. Pretty bad for the guys still waiting on the rigs they paid $13k for.

- Yes, if you mine back about 6 btc with Neptune (which people on this forum are projecting is what they can mine with one Neptune), taking into account electricity costs, new fans, rewiring houses etc, then that leaves you about 5BTC. $10k divided by 5 = $2000/bitcoin. Is that math too hard for you to do on your own?

- Yes, they did lie about about delivering all rigs by 15th October. That's very old news, but a total fact. They said on 11th October they had only produced 700 units (https://www.kncminer.com/news/news-49), so they knew without a doubt then they could never ship the other 6-7000+ October units in the next 4 days. But did they admit that? No, they lied until the 16th October and then said they were 3 or 4 days behind in production. And then continued to ship units for another 2 weeks. And I know your math is bad, so let me reassure you that 3-4 days is not the same as 2 weeks. So that was total lies/deception too.

So based on these and many many more factors, - Yes, KNC's entire business is indeed built on a pathological level of lies/fraud/deception/misrepresentation. I'm sorry you think someone pointing out the facts is trolling, but I guess if you can't do basic math/logic, then everything is confusing.

- Ebay doesn't mean anything. We already saw that when it comes to miners on Ebay, sellers are most of the time scammers and buyers aren't really buyers, they just bid to troll. Also with Paypal buyers protections who would like to sell anything on Ebay.

- ROI on long terms is not impossible with Neptunes, specially with second miner (Neptune or Titan). The price of BTC isn't static.

By interpreting and inventing facts it's easy to say KNC is a bad company.
Go troll on BFL's topic, it a good environment for you.

Also in February, they were selling Batch 2 and not Batch 3. On March 29th 2014, they were still selling Batch 2 : link & source.

Again, if you are just going to quote kfc's newsletters, you are going to get it all wrong.

Batch 2 sold out in January: link & source

http://forum.kncminer.com/forum/resellers-affilicates/general-questions/26690-neptune-second-batch-miners-available-740-available-in-kncminer-webshop?p=28943#post28943

They had a stampede of refunds in early February, leading to all sorts of new ways to flog their dead horse.

I disagree. Jupiters were selling for stupid prices (i.e. much more than cost) on ebay in December/January, which was a very strong indication of their worth at the time. $7K is a very realistic price for a 3TH machine, not $10k or $13k.

- ROI on long terms is not impossible with Neptunes, specially with second miner (Neptune or Titan). The price of BTC isn't static.
Did I say anything about roi? No I didn't. I said people had paid $2000 per bitcoin. I was pointing out how people were screwed. You could have bought btc for $500 or $600 recently, but people who bought Neptunes paid $2000 per btc. Which is an epic fail from an investment pov.

By interpreting and inventing facts it's easy to say KNC is a bad company.

No dude, you go somewhere else. Your arguments are weak and it seems you just can't bare to face facts you were screwed by knc. Don't try to take that out on me.

The facts will keep coming. Don't forget the lube! I warned you about it ages ago  Grin

Did you upgrade to Firmware 1.01 ?
Maybe Firmware 1.01 was made to break Octorber/November miners.
lol, I wouldn't put it past knc.

So only another few day until June and then we'll see how KNC start fucking their remaining morons customers. They've had so much time to plan this, you can assume they have some dastardly shit planned to screw their "loyal morons customers" Grin

Order some of this to prepare  Tongue

Oh and there is another 3-4 weeks between batches you forgot AFox. Because it's the kind of thing KfC put in their emails to customers, but not on the sales page. You know, so guys like you won't remember what KNC promised and will quote the wrong information:

I must have missed something.....   Can someone direct me to where it was stated that the Neptune deliveries would be separated in "Batches"?  Just because there was an order gap, and price difference between Noobs & old customers, means nothing towards delivery time as far as I see...   I cannot find anything to support that theory.

not batches per say, but on the site it does state the 13k price orders will come 3-4 weeks after first "batch" orders.

Yup it does

Quote
Neptune is our first 20nm product and will be shipping in Q1/Q2 of 2014.

The stats and performance that we can release today are

  • Minimum 3000GH/s of hashing speed that 3TH Over 5 times the speed of our first Jupiter release (we reserve the right to increase this as we get closer to shipment)
  • A 30% reduction in watts per GH
  • Based on the existing Jupiter design (See photo, however this may change as development progresses)
  • Shipment begins in Q1/Q2 of 2014
  • Bitcoins first ever 20nm miner bought to you form the company who shipped the first 28nm bitcoin miner
  • Limited batch of 1200 units,
  • Payment for this product is bitcoins and bank transfer only.
  • These boxes will ship 3-4 weeks after the first Neptune Batch
  • All refunds will be refunded in dollars and you can refund up to shipment

So with a 3-4 week gap between the 0/1/2 batches and another 1 month between those and Batch 3, how are KNC doing? I'd say they've done well to mislead everyone and take all their customers for fools. It's the second week of Q3 and it's not even clear if they have finished shipping the customer humiliation batch (0) yet.
So please point out those newsletter.
All I can see from their news section on KNc's website, is that they never promised a 3-4 weeks delay between every batch.
They only said that second batch part 1 "will leave about one month after the first batch". And that is not a promise, it's a approximation.

Neptune Second Batch

Neptune is our first 20nm product and will be shipping in Q2 of 2014. This order is for the second batch which will leave about one month after the first batch
The stats and performance that we can release today are

$ 9,995.00

Batch 2 - part 2 (2/14/2014) : https://www.kncminer.com/news/news-76

Also Batch 0 is totally shipped, message from KNC : http://forum.kncminer.com/forum/main-category/hardware/49594-no-more-neptunes-shipping?p=50239#post50239
And KnCMiningOp reported that is batch 1 order #1459x, is being shipped, along with this member with order #145xx : link.

Again, if you are just going to quote kfc's newsletters, you are going to get it all wrong.

That is an announcement for Batch 2 part 1.
They did a Batch 2 part 2 (2/14/2014) : https://www.kncminer.com/news/news-76
And on this link, it's clearly written "Neptune Second Batch".

I just noticed your sig:

Quote
My BTC mining address : 1NoRoihSKUCsXy1XKuy5KaFhqZsad1ETUn

You've accepted you've been screwed. Therefore, why all the fuss?

You do realise if you mine 5BTC with a Neptune and the price of BTC skyrockets to $2000/coin, all that means to you is you make back what you spent.

The guys with sense and good timing got back 22BTC for Neptune refunds. And if the price of BTC skyrockets to $2000/coin, they will have pocketed a cool $44,000. With no hassles, no electricity costs, no RMA's etc.

Argue away, but you do know you were screwed by KNC. I don't see why you are defending them. Unless it's Stockholm Syndrome Wink

Happy Neptune customer  Grin

Now you just dishin ad-hominims at ALL remaining KnC customers?
I suppose you think us defective for failing to follow your hate logic.
How bitter you seem to get when you see happy people.
I"M HAPPY AS FUCK!!! BTW

Unless and until you know the extent of my investment portfolio,
AND,
know how I measure ROI,
You are unqualified to make accurate pronouncements regarding same.

Same as you are unqualified to know INTENT of others in order to declare their actions fraud.

Don't stop though, your bitterness and hate is entertaining!

Seriously, you and eddie should get together on a collaberation.
You can photoshop and eddie can write little plays about your pictures of the people you hate.
Just like in 3rd grade!!!
Go ahead fill your world with hate.
Get u some ROI on that hate.
It is the only thing I have ever seen you invest in, you gotta be long on hate right?

You can call it Avenger and eddie's never ending petty pity party.
You already have a small fan base, there is a low side of the bell curve after all.

You might get more attention at the expense of others that way, which I declare as your goal.
(who cares if I am not qualified to make that judgement, that is where YOU set the bar)

On the gripping hand,,,
There are other ways to look at life.
Some of them are fun without always denigrating others.
Perhaps you might investigate the possibilities.

My challenge to you is UP YOUR GAME a bit.
Harvesting a gang of disruptors with hate is easy.
Lets see you take on a difficult task, I don't think you can muster troops for good.

For example:
You could help research customer OC, were greedy fucks we'll take data from anyone!
You don't need hardware to look at code.
OR
You could photochop a funny yet good setup guide for likely viewers IN THIS THREAD.
Do something good with your constant digs, it will have inherant popularity if the logic is good.

You are not pissin with the big dogs until you do.
(which I declare using your rules)

Please point out the flaws in my implimentation of your logic.
I wanna learn a different game too, even if it is hate based.
I'll teach you if you'll teach me. deal?

Go ahead and fling the insults at me, THEY ARE ALL TRUE, so what.
To REALLY needle happy people like me (which by your rules I declare is your game),
requires finding logic not character flaws.

One point Avenger
You got me to post reactively about happy feelings you seem to not like.
Next we see if reply can motivate you to post proactively about logic.
AND
If not who gets the point?
Tongue

I think those who refund the Neptune and bought 20BTC have already got the best possible outcome if they are interested in BTC. As BTC is around $450 right now, it's still a great time to get out and buy coins instead of trying to mine them.
