Hi, I have Lexar S75 32gb. After i installed 0018 im getting message "low disk space" I reflashed usb many times but error comes again and again
What program did you use to flash it? Did you use HDDRawcopy? yes, hddrawcopy Bobers, Check your /var/log directory and look at the kern.log and syslog files to see how large they are. if they are really large, they could be filling up with AER errors, which happened to me. If you search my username in the forum, the solution is in a recent post on the topic, involving editing your grub config. Also, if you haven't already, use gparted to increase the / partition size since it does not automatically fill the entire drive space.

I have been absent from the forum for the past 8 days; as I was moving ~3400 miles to cheaper power and a much larger power space. I was planning on moving mid AUG; but circumstances changed and I quickly packed my things and rigs; transported them nearly coast to coast: then setup all my rigs at a new location and dealt with all the typical errands involved with moving. I have a lot of pm's and I still need to catch up on several pages of the thread. I will catch up in time; I am still building new rigs, and have a number of changes I will release when they are properly tested. IAmNotAJeep and Maxximus007 have an improved version of their watchdog which they have been testing. I was planning on integrating a few more options into it; but it is significantly improved as is: so I will upload a link to it tonight. Edit: I have posted a Download Link at the top of the OP for the newest Watchdog. In regards to the Google Drive link being down; I still need to contact Google and see why this has happened. Nexillus and damNmad: Thanks for hosting the image when it went down. All of the members who have helped solve other members problems; Thanks for helping. Welcome back mate, hope all is well with you. Looking forward for your upcoming release. Thanks and hosting nvOC image is a privilege to me (it's nothing compared to what you are doing) Happy to do any such help to make this to main stream. Good luck with your move, hope it all works for you, glad to see you back.

Sorry if this was already fixed or is a duplicate report. Didn't read the thread for a long time.
I found that my nvOC system boots too long (around 2 minutes). The cause of that is a swap partition in /etc/fstab that does not exist on USB drive (was /dev/sda5 at install time). After commenting it out a 120 seconds swap disk mount wait time has gone.
nice catch! I must have overlooked this: I will make this change for v0019. Thanks osnwt.

In other news, the risers I ordered nearly a month ago finally arrived earlier this week. After fixing an unrelated power-supply issue, I rearranged my rig to use the risers, powered it up...and saw only about half of the hashrate I had previously been getting, with nvidia-smi indicating per-card power consumption fluctuating all over the place. BIOS settings are as recommended. I've updated the BIOS and redid the settings. I've tried slowing down the bus. I've tried plugging the risers into 1x slots instead of 16x. PCIe spread spectrum is still enabled; would disabling it likely help or hurt? Beyond that, the only thing I can think to try is to install Windows and see if it'll work any better, but then I'd have to port my mining switchers to it (if that'e even possible...are the command-line overclocking tools used by nvOC supported on Windows?). I got so fed up with it that I just put everything aside late yesterday evening and have been mining sweet bugger-all since. In other, other news, as an alternative to flaky USB PCIe risers that never seem to work right, I stumbled across this: http://shop.dmp.com.tw/INT/products/23Depending on how the module's configured, it might need a jumper removed to change the PCIe 1x connector at the end from a target to a host, but once that's done, I'm thinking a simple adapter board might be possible that would hold a GPU in one slot, this card in another, and some power-supply circuitry as appropriate. Add a MicroSD card and an Ethernet jack, and it'd potentially turn a GPU into a standalone miner. The module's also available by itself for inclusion in your own designs, which might be more appropriate in the long run...but just to see if the idea would work? If 128MB RAM isn't likely to be enough, the 1GB version is $15 more. It should run Linux without issue, and as long as nVidia and AMD avoid certain unsupported instructions (someone said CMOV isn't supported), their drivers ought to work on it. It's not particularly speedy, but it ought to be fast enough to keep a GPU fed with mining data. This is very interesting; let me know if you get it to work.

Hi guys, i do a little "how to" if some people want to mine SIGT / skunk algo. First of all i use Palginmodccminer ( the SP_MOD is faster but u have to pay ) FIRST STEP GET THE CLIENT
### Be in home dir ### cd /m1/home/
### Create a directory for your new miner ### mkdir PMccminer
### Go in new dir ### cd PMccminer/
### Download miner client ### ### Extract the file ### tar -zxvf palginmod_1.1_Ubuntu.tar.gz
### Delete start.sh ### rm start.sh
### Back to home dir ### cd /m1/home/
SECOND STEP EDIT BASH### Open 1bash nano 1bash
### Add SIGT and SIGT_BTC to the coin selection # CHOOSE COIN FROM: # DMD GRS ZPOOL_LYRA2V2 ZPOOL_BLAKE2S # ZEC ZCOIN HUSH ZEN ZCL SIGT SIGT_BTC # NICE_ETHASH ETH MUSIC ETC EXP DCR PASC # MONA VTC DGB SIA FTC LBC # DUAL_ETC_DCR DUAL_ETC_PASC DUAL_ETC_LBC DUAL_ETC_SC # DUAL_EXP_DCR DUAL_EXP_PASC DUAL_EXP_LBC DUAL_EXP_SC # DUAL_ETH_DCR DUAL_ETH_PASC DUAL_ETH_LBC DUAL_ETH_SC # DUAL_MUSIC_DCR DUAL_MUSIC_PASC DUAL_MUSIC_LBC DUAL_MUSIC_SC
### Add SIGT and SIGT_BTC specs ( u have to modify SIGT_WORKER and SIGT_ADDRESS by your seting ) SIGT_WORKER="SIGT" SIGT_ADDRESS="Bibi187" SIGT_POOL="stratum+tcp://sigt.suprnova.cc:7106" ###SIGT_BTC use BTC adresses### SIGT_BTC_POOL="stratum+tcp://skunk.mine.zpool.ca:8433"
### If u use SIGT_BTC, be sure to get correct ( your BTC adress ) BTC_ADDRESS="3JJaMUVBJp55BNsGvYynaJhDXRyUf95hyG"
### Add miner specs to the end of ur file between the two last "fi" ( ensure ur worker have x password on suprnova pool, or modify the "-p x" by "-p YourPassword" in the SIGT section ) if [ $COIN == "SIGT_BTC" ] then HCD='/home/m1/PMccminer/ccminer' ADDR="$BTC_ADDRESS" screen -dmS miner $HCD -a skunk -o $SIGT_BTC_POOL -u $ADDR -p c=SIGT if [ $LOCALorREMOTE == "LOCAL" ] then screen -r miner fi BITCOIN="theGROUND" while [ $BITCOIN == "theGROUND" ] do sleep 60 done fi if [ $COIN == "SIGT" ] then HCD='/home/m1/PMccminer/ccminer' ADDR="$SIGT_ADDRESS.$SIGT_WORKER" screen -dmS miner $HCD -a skunk -o $SIGT_POOL -u $ADDR -p x if [ $LOCALorREMOTE == "LOCAL" ] then screen -r miner fi BITCOIN="theGROUND" while [ $BITCOIN == "theGROUND" ] do sleep 60 done fi
THIRD STEP OC SETTING ( ASUS 1070 GTX 8OG / prolly ok for most 1070 gtx ) First of all this algo, gona get a lot of heat from your card, he use core, not memory. CoreClock : 120 MemClock : -2000 PowerLimit at default : 150W Temp Target 70° Fan between 95% - 75% ( I use watchdog ) This fine tunning work like a charm 213mh/s on suprnova, 211mh/s on zpool U have to disable IAmNotAJeep_and_Maxximus007_WATCHDOG="NO"
Or your RIG gona get restart for nothing, i dont modify IAmNotAJeep_and_Maxximus007_WATCHDOG, if i do prolly i can get him work with this setup but more simple to stop him for this coin Et voila thanks for the walkthrough. there is a few things that i think are backwards on your instructions. on my nvoc the directories are /home/m1/ and you have /m1/home/ in your instructions. also, with the settings i am entering into the fields for the suprnova pool info, i dont know if they are right or what is going on...i am getting a error when i run the terminal "stratum authentication failed" then trying again in 30 seconds. your settings show: SIGT_WORKER="SIGT" SIGT_ADDRESS="Bibi187" SIGT_POOL="stratum+tcp://sigt.suprnova.cc:7106" in suprnova, my worker is "firstname.systemnumber" example "lovecoin.sys1" - so would i make my settings look like SIGT_WORKER="lovecoin.sys1" ? also what am i editing to sigt_address?

Ok so I made it to page 30 something before deciding to post! So I've currently got 2 rigs that have been running smoothly. With that being said I've decided to play around and tweak the memorie settings. This is where I am hitting a wall. When I set the memory OC say 900/950 then when I check on it in the Nvidia Xserver it shows the clocks at level 2 at 8600-8700 and does not vary much from there. https://i.imgur.com/srfFFdh.png

You should really read this: http://www.linfo.org/root.html But the TLDR; is Linux systems have multiple users. You are logging in with a regular user account which cannot run all commands or access all parts of the OS. Usually this is a good thing because it makes it harder to break things. But sometimes you need to change to a higher level user, and root is the highest, and the su command does this. Once you've done what you need to as root you should logout of the root account with: exit The terminal (command line) might be case sensitive so try su and see if that works.

Ok so I made it to page 30 something before deciding to post! So I've currently got 2 rigs that have been running smoothly. With that being said I've decided to play around and tweak the memorie settings. This is where I am hitting a wall. When I set the memory OC say 900/950 then when I check on it in the Nvidia Xserver it shows the clocks at level 2 at 8600-8700 and does not vary much from there. https://i.imgur.com/srfFFdh.pngU have to be root do "su" and prompt "miner1" as password nvidia-settings -q /GPUCurrentClockFreqsString Give u real specs , u can specify by nvidia-settings -q [gpu:0]/GPUCurrentClockFreqsString Change 0 value by the GPU u want to ask. Ok so I forgot to mention I am 100% noob! What do you mean by root? So I opened a new terminal. When I type SU into the terminal is doesn't do anything. https://i.imgur.com/E3yHXVq.pngRoot? You should really read this: http://www.linfo.org/root.html But the TLDR; is Linux systems have multiple users. You are logging in with a regular user account which cannot run all commands or access all parts of the OS. Usually this is a good thing because it makes it harder to break things. But sometimes you need to change to a higher level user, and root is the highest, and the su command does this. Once you've done what you need to as root you should logout of the root account with: exit The terminal (command line) might be case sensitive so try su and see if that works. First time using Linux I'm using teamview to my phone as a monitor/keyboard/mouse and didn't even consider caps.

Ok I was able to root and pull the current specs of my cards. This is an 4x Gigabyte gtx 10606gb rig. I have my MC set to 1050 in 1bash and if I'm reading this right it says I'm at a current clock of 8748 with a max of 8754. How do I get more than a 750 MC increase? https://i.imgur.com/Fh5XRQ4.png

If u want to mine SIGT u have to lower your MemTransferRate and up your nvclock http://imgur.com/a/yZuOEBe in root and nvidia-settings -a /GPUGraphicsClockOffset[3]=value nvidia-settings -a /GPUMemoryTransferRateOffset[3]=value U can specify by GPU, like the other command nvidia-settings -a [gpu:0]/GPUGraphicsClockOffset[3]=value nvidia-settings -a [gpu:0]/GPUMemoryTransferRateOffset[3]=value

How many GPU's for that 213mh/s ?
8 gpu Hi guys, i do a little "how to" if some people want to mine SIGT / skunk algo. First of all i use Palginmodccminer ( the SP_MOD is faster but u have to pay ) FIRST STEP GET THE CLIENT
### Be in home dir ### cd /m1/home/
### Create a directory for your new miner ### mkdir PMccminer
### Go in new dir ### cd PMccminer/
### Download miner client ### ### Extract the file ### tar -zxvf palginmod_1.1_Ubuntu.tar.gz
### Delete start.sh ### rm start.sh
### Back to home dir ### cd /m1/home/
SECOND STEP EDIT BASH### Open 1bash nano 1bash
### Add SIGT and SIGT_BTC to the coin selection # CHOOSE COIN FROM: # DMD GRS ZPOOL_LYRA2V2 ZPOOL_BLAKE2S # ZEC ZCOIN HUSH ZEN ZCL SIGT SIGT_BTC # NICE_ETHASH ETH MUSIC ETC EXP DCR PASC # MONA VTC DGB SIA FTC LBC # DUAL_ETC_DCR DUAL_ETC_PASC DUAL_ETC_LBC DUAL_ETC_SC # DUAL_EXP_DCR DUAL_EXP_PASC DUAL_EXP_LBC DUAL_EXP_SC # DUAL_ETH_DCR DUAL_ETH_PASC DUAL_ETH_LBC DUAL_ETH_SC # DUAL_MUSIC_DCR DUAL_MUSIC_PASC DUAL_MUSIC_LBC DUAL_MUSIC_SC
### Add SIGT and SIGT_BTC specs ( u have to modify SIGT_WORKER and SIGT_ADDRESS by your seting ) SIGT_WORKER="SIGT" SIGT_ADDRESS="Bibi187" SIGT_POOL="stratum+tcp://sigt.suprnova.cc:7106" ###SIGT_BTC use BTC adresses### SIGT_BTC_POOL="stratum+tcp://skunk.mine.zpool.ca:8433"
### If u use SIGT_BTC, be sure to get correct ( your BTC adress ) BTC_ADDRESS="3JJaMUVBJp55BNsGvYynaJhDXRyUf95hyG"
### Add miner specs to the end of ur file between the two last "fi" ( ensure ur worker have x password on suprnova pool, or modify the "-p x" by "-p YourPassword" in the SIGT section ) if [ $COIN == "SIGT_BTC" ] then HCD='/home/m1/PMccminer/ccminer' ADDR="$BTC_ADDRESS" screen -dmS miner $HCD -a skunk -o $SIGT_BTC_POOL -u $ADDR -p c=SIGT if [ $LOCALorREMOTE == "LOCAL" ] then screen -r miner fi BITCOIN="theGROUND" while [ $BITCOIN == "theGROUND" ] do sleep 60 done fi if [ $COIN == "SIGT" ] then HCD='/home/m1/PMccminer/ccminer' ADDR="$SIGT_ADDRESS.$SIGT_WORKER" screen -dmS miner $HCD -a skunk -o $SIGT_POOL -u $ADDR -p x if [ $LOCALorREMOTE == "LOCAL" ] then screen -r miner fi BITCOIN="theGROUND" while [ $BITCOIN == "theGROUND" ] do sleep 60 done fi
THIRD STEP OC SETTING ( ASUS 1070 GTX 8OG / prolly ok for most 1070 gtx ) First of all this algo, gona get a lot of heat from your card, he use core, not memory. CoreClock : 120 MemClock : -2000 PowerLimit at default : 150W Temp Target 70° Fan between 95% - 75% ( I use watchdog ) This fine tunning work like a charm 213mh/s on suprnova, 211mh/s on zpool U have to disable IAmNotAJeep_and_Maxximus007_WATCHDOG="NO"
Or your RIG gona get restart for nothing, i dont modify IAmNotAJeep_and_Maxximus007_WATCHDOG, if i do prolly i can get him work with this setup but more simple to stop him for this coin Et voila I've tried with my 1060 6G rig, it failed saying can't find a screen for miner, when i tried 'screen -r miner' on quake terminal, still no luck. Any Idea why? Do you use last nvOC version with all update from OP ? If yes, put all your OC setting to 0, and try again. In the 1bash file, make sure u do LOCALorREMOTE="LOCAL" # LOCAL or REMOTE
If u have a screen attached, and try again. If u are on ssh with no screen attached do screen -ls
### To attach the screen ### screen -x miner
Thanks for your reply. Yes, my rig is up to date with nvOC v 18 with all files. I was dual mining which was working perfectly well, have stopped it and tried to mine SIGT using your instructions but didn't work. I use local and other coins working as normal. Anyway will try with 0 of settings and see again, thanks alot for those instructions though. I've managed to make it work with my RIG, it seems working fine (issue was with path as mentioned in one of the replies). Getting around 125 MH with my 8x 1060 6GB ASUS (oc:0,mc:0,pl:80), please share you OC settings if you think I'm getting low hashrate. Thanks.

I dont know about 1060, but on skunk algo, u dont care about mc so put them in lower value, max as u can for 1070 is -2000. Up your powerlimit to the default powerlimit and Clockmemory step by step start at 100, wait 24h and increment by 10 after every 24hours before crash. When crash occur reduce to the previous step, wait again more 24h if stable lower your powerlimit to get a better ratio watt / hashrate. So for my ASUS 1070 GTX 8OG MemClock : -2000 CoreClock : 130 ( the 24hours step, i go push to 130 just now ) PowerLimit : 150W per gpu TempLimit : 70c Fan range : 95-75 ( autotemp ON ) As SIGT is running good for 2500 blocks after reward get halved, i suggest you to get a stable setting cause watchdog is disable, so if your RIG crash, he dont gona reboot him self

Hey all. I decided to give nvOC a go, but I'm kinda new to Linux so have a few questions.
I have to make a ext4 and swap partitions and set "/" to path for ext4
What sizes should the drives be?
After that I use Raw Harddisk Copy to copy the nvOC img to the ext4 partition.
Is that it? Do I have to make bootmanager or what it's called?
Thank you in advance
