Slush being the first pools should be the main pool for al EU miners. it is way to small. For bitcoin's decentralization it would be good to have 1 of the top 2 pools being an EU/US pool

Currently many of the miners are in China...

Not sure what kind of mining power you need to get good profit from slush's pool, I've been on here for about 3-4 days. and I would have made about $2-3 more already mining in antpool with my single S5. I think i'm going to go back to antpool, For me it was more consistent money

For reliable results mine a week and compare results. Income is dependant on a lot of factors like pool luck etc. In the weekends most pools have a higher hashrate and thus a lower payout.

Within a week you got some more objective results.

I can agree with that depending on the type of payout system.  I would say a week is sufficient for PPS payout system in pools.  However, if you are comparing PPLNS payout system pools, one month isn't quite good enough.  One would have to mine for at least 3 months on each PPLNS pool to get an idea.  Mathematically, the PPLNS payout system pools should perform fairly close to the same over the course of one year IF they have the same hardware on the front and back ends.  One easily comparable feature to separate PPLNS pools will be its fees.

I'm going to keep mining slush's for a couple more days, It's almost a week, Past 2 days been really good on slush's I think. Finding quite a few blocks

As long as slush finds average of 10 blocks/day. I get just a small amount more than antpool, about 20 cents a day more..

And ouch the difficulty increase, Went from 28/29 cents a block to 27/26

Today was definitely a good day for the pool...I mined a few satoshi' shy of .1 BTC today after just receiving a .1BTC payment yesterday afternoon with just my 5 S5s. Normally I mine .04BTC -/+ a day with the same setup and takes me 2.25 days to generate .1 BTC...

I counted 15 blocks and hoping for one more to end the day on a really high note!

Thanks Slush for the pool and all you do!

Its way down for month - the longer term stats are more important than a day or two.

I am expecting a run of rather good luck coming up - hopefully cos we are all losing big time at present.

Long term is not luck - its stats and it should = 100% over a month - not 90%.

Unless we are truely "unlucky"

Any troubles again w/ network? I've just manually resubmitted recent transaction via blockchain.info as it was not broadcasted properly over whole network from Slush itself for more than 1/2 hour, just partially... I think now it will go faster

0.0001 payment is not from Slush, you may check advertisement message in blockchain in this 0.0001 transaction. Someone decided to pay this to your address and nothing more.  Payment from Slush was as predicted.
