77%?! And here I am getting happy when users on Stratum have speed exceeding 50% (which only happens once in a blue moon).
LOL, I'm being pretty aggressive in Stratum propagation. Getwork users have pretty annoying message on website profile, thankfully lot of them really update after they noticed it. I have a nice annoying message to anybody that hasn't used Stratum in the last 2 weeks. They just ignore it. I guess I can make the font size increase by 1% per day ;p. That might work actually lol

And a target and a message that you can win an ipad just by hitting the target? That sort of ad always grabs my attention (perhaps by driving me blind with rage, but it does get my attention).

I think I might turn stratum back off to get more namecoins actually, or go to a pool that will still be offering them merged mining is still worth while becuase there is still a market for namecoins

Dear god, I can't imagine how much whining I'd hear if I tried to get people to move to Stratum like that... I should try it the next time I'm feeling sadistic.

But i think the mining proxy will connect to your pool with one worker account then, dont it?
No, it proxies usernames as well. Cant you just raise the allowed connections to 25? (-;
There's really no reason, 20+ workers is already pretty big operation and using Stratum proxy is logical step. It optimizes network usage. Thank you Slush thats working. But now i have got another problem with your mining proxy: When my internet connection at night is reconnecting mining proxy is loosing connection, cant give work to my bfgminers and bfgminers are trying so switch to my backup pools. Thats logic. But when the internet connection ist back, bfgminers are locking for the proxy and find him still dead, so they continue working at the backup pools. Only a restart of the bfgminers helps here, the they can connect to the proxy again. Do you know why they dont do this without restarting? Bitcoin 01 was manualy restarted and connected to the mining proxy, Bitcoin 02 was not resarted and still said MiningProxy is dead.

Today it is two years since the pool found it's first block :-). It was this block, and the difficulty in these times was 12252. Oh, how I miss these days!

its the newest 1.2.0.
Hm, I tested it on linux and it works normally. I should test reconnections under Windows, because - as I remember - cgminer had reconnection issues under Windows as well...

Hey Slush, I think something broke. I'm getting massive rejected shares. Pretty much all of them are getting rejected. Other pools work fine, so it's just your pool. I'm mining on stratum. I already tried restarting the mining proxy (running version 1.1.1) but that did not help.
Edit: Hmm, looks like it's working again. Temporary hiccup?

I used to get about .1 bitcoins a day back in November @ 270 Mhash/sec
Ever since the difficulty increased I should be getting exactly half of that right? Why does it seem like I'm getting NOTHING now? I check my account page and my confirmed reward increases by hardly anything.

I think you're confusing the reward halving with the difficulty increase. Difficulty increases occur every ~ 14 days. The higher the Difficulty, the less you are paid for each share, on average. The reward halving has just halved the reward. All the same, the mining difficulty in November was approximately the same now, so I don't think difficulty changes would be the answer.

getting problems wirh new bfgminer 2.9.7:
mining.get_transactions is experimental extension of mining protocol and it's fully optional. AFAIK my pool was the only who supported it for few days, before luke-jr released his support in bfgminer which overflooded pool server (so I disabled it). Please report this to luke-jr, bfgminer should handle this somehow.
