And because of my lack of cognitive processing it took about 5 pages to get me to understand. So if you cant get it from that please ask more questions. Basically take the phase of the mood at 3pm then put in a constant for the size of your best friend's cat. divide that by the number of people in your home town during the year of your mothers birth. now multiply that all by your hash rate, divide by the total number of points and then multiply that by the total reward minus 2%. It really is that simple.

Before anyone yells at me it's a joke and I'm picking on myself.

And don't forget to consider the phase of the moon! Include also other important factors such as the weather in Alaska and whether the round ends on a high or low tide.
Yes I think the formula was created by the same tormented mind that came up with the game of fisbin

Come on! I've explained it a thousand times.

It's the exponential of the [phase of the moon divided by the weight of the cat] * [the number of times your cat jumped on your miner (because it's warm) per hour] multiplied by your hashrate divided by the speed of light divided by the pool's hashrate * 0.98

There's absolutely nothing about the number of people in your home town in that calculation, I have no idea where you picked that up.

Wait an old lady down the road on the wiki said that the cat had to be neutered and that the hometown counted as long as you looked at the moon at 3pm and took three tabs of acid just before spilling your pop on the cat. I know I might be a newb but I distinctly remember during my last psychotic break that Zaphod told me that as long as i had my towel I got all the coins.

This is about to get totally out of controll isn't it.

Dude, there's no place for drugs in math. Being psychotic is not such a problem, but even so what you're saying is just plain cray-cray.

Why the hell would neutering your cat matter? Makes absolutely no sense.

Seems this is going to be yet another 4hr+ block, after having a 2hr+, preceded by a 3hr+ with a previous almost 4hr in the same day ... we're drowning in luck lately

The difficulty will always go up with ASICs coming about. Sometimes they are just minutes apart and sometimes an hour. The system tries to keep generation to every 10 minutes. We were just lucky to get those 6 blocks in under 10 minutes.

That is the only way they can build in any kind of value otherwise this is nothing more than a great big ponzi scheme.

Anyone have experiences with those?

There are other group buys but I'm looking at this one since it is EU and relay low price.

Hmm...

Presently at Slush I get approx. 0.002BTC@~600MH/s at each block (averaged). We find around 16-18 blocks per day.
Assuming I were to pay 2.2BTC for this usb 'block eruptor' I would be looking at:

2.2 / 0.001 / 17 = 130 days to break-even, assuming network difficulty remains as-is, which it WILL NOT.

Because estimates of rate of difficulty increase vary wildly I hesitate to _speculate_ further, but it seems to me that there is a possibility this buy will not pay for itself in a reasonable time frame.
