If you want to support the Devcoin economy, be sure to take any Devcoins you want to sell to https://mcxnow.com/exchange/DVC so that people there will see movement in the market.

Also, if you make comments in the chat box there in support of devcoin, there are at least 15 coiners reading what is posted there at any given time, if not 100+

And don't forget that you can play the markets. Vircurex has more trade options (Altcoins for Altcoins) while MCXnow only offers Altcoins for Bitcoins.
So you can buy altcoins, and if you look at the Vircurex markets, sometimes you can find a loophole where you can buy the altcoin for cheap on MCXnow, then use the altcoin to get cheap DVC on Vircurex. Then take those Devcoin back to MCXnow to make a profit. You really have to pay attention to ALL of the devcoin markets at once to do that though.

Not sure if I shared this here yet, just wanted to point out that coins like DVC are the future of the crypto-economy.

Can someone point me to the page where I can sign up to Devtome (I know that an admin subsequently must enable the account)?

Hi Wekkel,

There is no sign up page, all accounts are created manually.

If your name starts with A-F, please message FuzzyBear on bitcointalk, if your name starts with G-O message Wiser, and if your name starts with P-Z message Worldinacoin.

Welcome.

What happened to the sign up page?

It was removed due to bot sign-ups...

Keep in mind Vircurex has posted the following in their news section:

"on November 3rd 2013 we will be disabling the Any-2-Any coin trading, as from then onwords only trades to and from BTC will be supported."

What are you talking about? How do you infer that from the quotes above?

Sorry, didn't mean to quote.  I was just wondering because not many posts have been made pertinent to that topic.

Newly created (mined) coins require maturing before they can be used. Maturing is 120 confirmations, or blocks.

Ok thanks.

I'm on my phone, so sorry if I don't reply.

But
If you want writing support, ideas, or even just another group of writers to talk to, it's national novel writing month and I'm sure the nanowrimo.com threads are active as shit.

I'll be on there when I get Internet in my new apt, I'm HannibalImhotep there.

Also, everyone there is writing a 50,000 word book this month (or at least trying to) maybe a few of us should PM some invites to devtome.

Hey guys, check out Rapidballs for a DVC gambling site, Smiley. Please add it to the official list as well. They offer multiple different game types and the site works well. There's also a faucet as part of the site.

I am finshaggy. I was sending out PMs about Devcoin here on bitcointalk (over 200 PMs) and a robot mod "auto banned" my account. Lol. I didn't even get to appeal.
