I've started seeing this bug since upgrading to the 2.5.2 release.  Sometimes, one of my miners (seems to only be the AntMiners) will suddenly display its average speed several thousand times higher than it should.

That is going be great!

Can't wait to get it setup.  My problem isn't Multiminer currently its U-verse LOL.  Since my miners are all Avalons and Antminer S1's I have to use the Stratum Proxy, but since my Windows Server 2008R2 box is on a static IP for some reason none of the miners can route to it.  Going to try again today but been trying to minimize any downtime with them so hard to make major networking changes without taking down all 8 miners.  Sad

I wanted to let you know that the Stratum Proxy will not be the only way to use an S1 or Avalon with MultiMiner in the next major update. In 2.6, MultiMiner will be able to automatically discover networked ASIC devices that allow RPC API access and show them as devices within the MultiMiner UI.

Nope.  If you look at the submissions, it's roughly the same as the three others.

Wonder if I can get some help understanding its usage for solo mining?
I've used the built in proxy settings, but I'm failing to understand how those ports interact with the rpc ports listed in the conf files for various coins.

thx

are the pools configured right? I was getting this (for a diff coin) and it was because I had left the command line style http://xxx.xxx:yyyy    when i only needed http://xxx.xxx   with yyyy in the ports etc.

in my experience, bfgminer isn't great for solo mining at the moment. I use cgminer for solomining.. since mm runs bfgminer it would stand to reason it will not work well. nwools said earlier in the thread he is talking with someone and working on it however.

PPC works fine - most likely your pool settings are wrong or the pool is down. Either try a different pool or post your settings here (most pools allow any password).

Version 2.5.3 of MultiMiner is now available with the following changes:

  • Fixed a visual issue where wrong coin information was displayed when Auto-Mining
  • Fixed an error on Windows XP when MultiMiner Remoting is enabled
  • Fixed inability to close the Details pane when no devices are selected

I do wish I got paid that much/day.  I'd consider quitting my job.  Wink

When this is happening, open up the API Monitor and CTRL+C & CTRL+V to check out the data that bfgminer is reporting. That info comes straight from bfgminer but I suppose it could be something I'm doing wrong in MultiMiner.

Alternatively you can browse to %appdata%\MultiMiner and check out the ApiLog JSON file. That also records the values that bfgminer reports.

updated to 2.5.3   everything working smooth so far. will report  anything if I see it. Great job man!   donating extra 1% for such a stellar program.  Grin

now we just need coinchoose to add more sha256 coins or for coinwarz to make their api free for more uses a day ^^ I just have coinchoose running by default and manually switching if a coin not represented goes way up on coinwarz. Too bad I cannot put like 10 coinwarz api in and if one is out of uses have it move to the next one lol

That, or for someone to make their own unified API that combines the data values from both...

would it be difficult to implement a strategy toggle to the effect of "continue strategy after manually switching"   like if I manually switch to a coin not listed in the coinchoose api, it would still check the api 5,10,15 minutes later etc..  As of now when you manually switch, it unchecks the "automatically mine coin/s based on xxx"  toggle.
