Hello guys, i lost almost 2 MH/s per Vega 56 flashed to 64 last night..
What seems to be the problem?
Tried with phoenix 5.1, 5.2 and 5.3.. getting 46.9 on all three, went from 48.9
does anyone have a similar problem ?
Hello, remove -gt ... setting from your config file.

Under linux OS like smos and hiveos I get 27-28 Mh for 280x. There is only one tweak in the config that I've made under Ubuntu and that is the set parameters for the virtual memory. The only drawback is the power - around 180-200W vs. 90W for 1060 which get 23 Mh.
Are You talkkng about R9 280x 3GB ? I have few of them and my max is 12.6 MH/s usung 5.3c + Windows 10 + driver 20.4.x https://prnt.sc/vu5tjqDo You think that on linux is chance to get more ?

Yes, under linux 280x 3Gb Tahiti get 26-28 Mh/s with ETC. I also have rare 280x with 6Gb Vram, which get 26-28 Mh with ETH. Hawaii and tahiti work with half of their hash under Windows. Tonight phoenix stopped working with hawaii and tahiti for ETH, but at least for my tahiti cards lolminer is working well. For some strange reason for hawaii lolminer is working on half of my cards with 20 Mh instead of 30, and it can't load DAG on the other half, although they are 8Gb. Gminer recognizes them and is hashing with 30 Mh, but with no shares. So I am sticking with phoenix mining ETC for hawaii, until developers compile new kernels for these cards to mine ETH again. Regarding rx cards, some of them hanged during the epoch change last night, but after a restart they all worked again. Edit. I am also curious if the devs can exploit the adobe premiere opencl bug and make double threads for mining ETH with amd 6800 with hash >80 Mh/s. I guess it will be possible to make this for all types of MB and CPU's, if they figure out how adobe by accident can do it. And if they can make triple threads for these 16 Gb cards for ETH, the better: 3x40=120 Mh for 150W-ish, would be perfect https://www.reddit.com/r/EtherMining/comments/jzp6mp/does_smart_access_memory_unleash_the_6800_non_xt/gdebz5h/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

And btw non of the straps commands work i am getting either EIO.dll and/or IOMap64.sys errors. Anyone has a solution for vega 64 timings? My driver is 20.4.2 thanks a lot

Why do hardware options appear to have little to no effect using PhoenixMiner (was also the case with Claymore) on Ubuntu?
They work fine on Windows 10 where I can get my Vega 56 cards running around 120 watts with a decent hash rate, but I can't bring down the power at all when running under Ubuntu? For example, the desktop I'm writing this on has a Vega 64 LE that I know is good for high 40s hash rates with ETH, ETC etc. But under Ubuntu I can't budge it from 36 MH/s and 260 W.
Currently running Ubuntu 20.04.1 with open AMD 20.20 driver and PhoenixMiner 5.3b.
Any ideas?

I would post a log of my error but simply when I use any version past 5.0e right after command line execution, it says invalid option 3333, its only on one rig like this , i also as well lost 2.6 mh off each vega 56 , all other cards 570 and 5700 .1mh which I see phoenix explained about the kernels. How long will 5.0e be able to mine for.
I tried all previous working driver sets still gets instant invalid option 3333 as soon as phoenix miner command line executes. This is with 5.1c till now only on one rig that has a mix of vega 56s and 5700s and 1 570. Is it something wrong with my windows version?

Have you tried using a different port? Maybe that port number is already in use on your machine. Set a different port with:

Hello guys, i lost almost 2 MH/s per Vega 56 flashed to 64 last night..
What seems to be the problem?
Tried with phoenix 5.1, 5.2 and 5.3.. getting 46.9 on all three, went from 48.9
does anyone have a similar problem ?
Hello, remove -gt ... setting from your config file. i don't have -gt in my .bat they are set to autotune :/ Hello, any luck solving this problem i also lost almost 3 mh/s per card.. i got 8 X vega 64 rig. And btw non of the straps commands work i am getting either EIO.dll and/or IOMap64.sys errors. Anyone has a solution for vega 64 timings? My driver is 20.4.2 thanks a lot i think it has something to do with the new epoch, we will have to wait for phoenix to solve the problem, probably with the miner update.. i notice the dag generates a loooot slower since this morning as for the straps, i am using memtool, i am not using strap commands

how odd now that i was able to look at the config file there was just a space between the port on server address , which is weird since I copied the config file over from 5.0e to the newer version, I fixed it to right server address and port thank you for the suggestion it lead me to find the mistake :}

Hi. Just want to say THANK YOU to the @PhoenixMiner Devs for their work and support here. I used Claymore before because it gives me the highest possible hashrates but got DAG generation errors the last days on three RX570 8GB. First setting -eres 1 worked a few days with Claymore, then i had to set -eres 0 a few days later and at least it did not work anymore. Now switched to PhoenixMiner 5.3b and it works fine after some tuning at the same speed. 89W , 1400rpm , 64°C , 30.5MH/s , cclock 1284 MHz , cvddc 900 mV , mclock 2050 MHz each of the GPUs (installed in a bigtower case, win10, Radeon 20.4.2) Great work! bye Claymore & hello Phoenix. maybe its helpful for someone, my configfile: -pool ssl://eu1.ethermine.org:5555 -wal <<walletaddress>> -worker MININGPC
-hstats 2 -mode 1 -gswin 10
-fanmin 30 -tt 66 -ttli 68 -tstop 70 -tstart 50
-mt 1 -coin eth -mi 14 -gt 44 -cvddc 900 -rxboost 20

you are running it as admin so the phoenixminer.exe needs the directory of the program i.e "C:\phoenixminer\phoenixminer.exe"
