Raza, a big player for Zimbabwe. Scored 100+ runs as well as took 3 wickets allowing 56 runs bowling 10 overs. Even in this match Bangladesh might've never thought of Zimbabwe winning the first match and now it is once again a big blow. Bangladesh needs to come up strong in the third ODI, if not a whitewash is gonna happen.

Everytime after a match they face so much criticism and there is so much suggestions and ideas coming from the people who might not have played cricket but think they are expert of their field.

If it is an individual and he is just representing himself then it is quite okay that no one gives suggestion. The team is representing a country and this means they are playing on favour of the entire population of the nation. This gives them the right to make criticism and give suggestions, and even we are not expert on it. But, looking the performance and mistakes done our mind says he should've done that change by then and it could've increased the winning chance. This is just an assumption, same is with others.

That is correct they represent the country but sometime the criticism is too harsh...
Bangladesh team has hardly been able to perform well.
They need proper training or may be new induction as well.

Zimbabwe have 2-3 good players such as Sikandar Raza and Regis Chakabva. Take out these players, and they will struggle to win even against sides such as Namibia and Scotland. And this one-off victories will be used as an excuse to continue pouring tens of millions of USD in ICC funds to Zimbabwe, at a time when associate nations receive a tiny fraction of that amount.

Both the teams are overdependent on a few players. For Zimbabwe, it is Sikandar Raza, Regis Chakabva and Blessing Muzarabani. For Bangladesh, the dependence is on players such as Litton Das, Shakib al Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman. If these players are not available, then these teams becomes uncompetitive.

I would say that the condition of the Bangladesh team is worse than that of Zimbabwe at the moment. Because Zimbabwe may depend on certain players. But then Robert Mugabe and his government started harassing the white residents and most of them moved to countries such as Australia and England. After that Zimbabwe has been on continuous decline. Once in a while some exceptional players such as Blessing Mahwire or Brendan Taylor manages to win a few matches for them.. but it only slows down the ongoing decline.

@Sithara007 I remember the golden days of Zimbabwean cricket, and if I’m correct these player’s had defeated some big teams too. However for me both Bangladesh and Zimbabwe are in a constant state of decline, and maybe it’s time for some other countries replace them, but do you’ll feel that ICC will take the bold step of replacing them?.
