Indian cricket team also has many experienced bowlers in bowling. It is expected that India team will perform very well in bowling as well. Going to be an easy win for New Zealand in the end. The Indian bowlers just imploded towards the depth overs. The partnership between Tom Latham and Kane Williamson rescued New Zealand. They were in a weak position when Daryl Mitchell got out (88/3). But both Williamson and Latham patiently built the partnership and then launched their attack towards the final 10 overs. Looks to me that the Indian bowling lineup is badly missing experienced players such as Jasprit Bumrah, Ravichandran Ashwin, Bhubaneshwar Kumar and Mohammad Shami.

Full credits to Washington Sundar for taking the team total above 300 as the team was moving at a slow pace and were 254 in the 46th over but New Zealand played really well and chased the total with ease. Tom Latham should have allowed Kane Williamson to score his century as well  .

Rishabh Pant failed again and i would like to see him take a break and give opportunity to other players as he was really struggling during his stay at the crease.

One more thing, with so much T20 the ODI really look boring now.

I do agree, it looks like things are dragging a bit longer with ODI. I never thought i would say this when the format started, i thought it will be restricted to T20 leagues .

Sri Lanka vs Afghanistan 1st ODI match started. Afghanistan won the toss and batted. Afghanistan scored 275 runs in 48 overs and lost 4 wickets. Sri Lanka bowlers are bowling well in this match.  As he is doing well, he will perform well in batting.

Perhaps not every team can not focus on the ODIs due to the T20 World Cup. But slowly they are getting ready. They are preparing in a new way around the upcoming ODI World Cup. Australia and New Zealand in particular have come back from very close to the World Cup finals which will greatly influenced them to win the next World Cup. Especially after failing to reach his semi finals on home ground in Australia they had to come back from being very close to victory and that is why they want to control the upcoming World Cup 2023.

Class batting by Latham & Williamson today! They both remained till the end and destroyed India's bowling. Except Usman Malik every other bowler was a failure today especially Arshdeep Sing. Rishab Panth form has been in question lately and I think after the series he should take a break. Newzealand have taken a lead in this series and now it all depends on Shikhar Dhawan and his team to work go back and work on those areas where they were not good.
