The third and the final ODI will be played today. Newzealand have won the toss and selected to bowl first. Considering the first ODI if India wants to win the last match they would need a target of 320 plus. The weather at the moment looks okay but rain is predicted today. I do not want this match to get abandoned like the second ODI due to rain. If it does then Newzealand will win the series.
 

It is still not clear which team will win between India and New Zealand. With Shikhar Dhawan and one other player out, it looks like India will not be able to score 300 runs in this match. New Zealand bowlers are bowling well. India batting is under pressure. New Zealand bowler Adam Milne has 28 runs in 5 overs  Got two wickets

India is in pretty bad situation at the moment. I now doubt they will be able to give a decent target of 200+. The match has been completed dominated by the Kiwis bowlers. Not much batting left for India now. Tail enders need to form a partnership if India needs to set up a decent target for the NZ batters

The second innings was abandoned due to rain and their lack of runs in the third kept them so far from winning the match. However, many cricketers feel that if they score 300 and more then it would have been easier for the Indians to control the match through good bowling action.

They just need 8-10 minutes to bowl the two overs and we have time till 22:30 local , so they should at least complete 20 overs. Anyway New Zealand deserve the win after their performance.

I was expecting the rain to interfere once again. But I was not expecting it to stay and abandoned the match. One and half day of T20 series was lost due to rain and now the same for ODI. Yes New Zealand was looking good. We can see in 18 overs New Zealand made 100+ runs and gave only one wicket and it has the target of 220 runs.

And New Zealand could make this easily but unfortunately the weather is interesting in the match so don't know what will happen.

Afghanistan vs Sirlanka 3rd ODI
Afghanistan chose to bat first . Their batting lineup is performing very well today Ibrahim Zadran on 97 runs and Najibullah Zadran on 66 runs and they are still batting. After  37 overs they are on 201 for 3 wickets.  If they manage to score like this they will give 300 + target to Sirlanka.
On other hand Sirlanka ballers should put some pressure on Afghani batsman to control their runs.

If we talk about Afghanistan and Sri Lanka. Afghanistan is playing now and its Current Run Rate is 5.65 and played 40 overs and made 228 runs and gave 4 wickets.
If we compare with the last match so according to this Afghanistan is looking strong and playing well.

Because in the last match Afghanistan gave 295 runs target to Sri Lanka but Sri Lanka's only made 234 runs all out.

Afghanistan can win I hope.

If it weren't for the rain, India would have lost 3-0.

Firstly, this will always be an issue in cricket thanks to ICC not focusing on closed roof stadiums thanks to their corrupt habits. It's a pity seeing so many possibly entertaining matches getting washed out in this manner.

Secondly, the series would have most probably ended as 2-1 in NZ's favour since India played really well in the previous ODI before rain stopped play.

You are right after looking at recent weather conditions and average of how many matches are affected due to rain( either abandoned or left unplaced half way)  this should be a concern for ICC to make stadiums covered and closed roof . In recent T20 world cup we have seen soo many matches affected because of rain and now this series so this matter should be put forward on ICC desks for future convenience.

2-0 was loading today but the way kiwi openers were batting, i was more worried about another 220/0 opposition scorecard lol.

Anyway, it's nice to lose a bilateral series for a change as the Indian team is a bilateral bully and shit their bed in the ICC tourney. Need some serious reality checks in the ODI squad before WC.
