1141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any kinds of altcoin gives constant rewards? on: June 12, 2022, 08:56:26 PM
Constant reward? Even Bitcoin does not do that, what more for altcoins? I don't think there's any other thing that gives constant reward aside from what others mentioned in here which was staking.
Maybe you should consider building a business if you're really into "constant rewards", though I know that is not related to crypto at some point. Cheesy
1142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How was last crypto bear market on: June 12, 2022, 06:58:19 PM

Quite expected considering that there are a lot of crypto coins out there that do not even have a single utility at all.
Some just are purely copy-paste of the previous ones for quick bucks of course and would just die out after time.
Top coins are mostly the safe plays right now.
1143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coins bring a lot of big profits on: June 11, 2022, 08:50:06 PM

It surely is the cheapest that is why they were pursuing those kinds of coins. Depending on the investor, it could be just a blind investment for lucks just because they do not have any other things to think of, or they are indeed serious with their investment that they are still trying their best to get the best of the cheapest shitcoins out there.
"The egg and the basket" concept also applies as their reasons also.
1144  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's been your greatest challenge on BTT ? on: June 11, 2022, 08:46:21 PM
The real purpose of backwards glancing eye is to educate yourself constantly - looking at the past helps to learn from those who came before you, since they are personal experience, this is the most vital school one can learn from.

Examining from the mistakes made in the past, the ones that have grievously held you back, share your experience,a newbie or anyone an analyze and extract a lesson.

What has been your greatest challenge on Bitcointalk? And how did you go about it ?
I just really wanted to hang out around here and would love to hear other's knowledge so maybe the nearest challenge that I was unconsciously pursuing was being able to learn, but in hindsight there is really none.
If I was having difficulties speaking/writing English, then the challenge would be being able to join the discussion in here.
1145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Power to the people on: June 10, 2022, 09:57:02 PM
When regulation comes many will feel safer with regulated crypto projects but BTC for example cant be regulated because the founder cant be found, he (Nakamoto) saw this coming all along so what's going to happen? I believe the power to choose which project to invest in will be given to the people. The warning from the government will be ' do not invest in unregulated projects '.
BTC can't be regulated for its design, and not because Satoshi is still not known as of this day.
Some government just wants to milk out the investments of some people that is why they do not want them to invest in "unregulated projects". Good thing that Bitcoin is not really banned worldwide, maybe to some other countries but not all.
1146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can i earn a passive income with Altcoins? on: June 10, 2022, 08:36:15 PM
That is already a solid thought, though it would be quite of a long-hold for you for obvious reasons. I wouldn't just think of buying other coins , unless I am fully sure of it. There are many shitcoins these days that aren't worth holding at nor even worth investing your time for.
Just do with BTC and you would be fine.
1147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earning in a bear market on: June 10, 2022, 08:30:57 PM

I just usually buy more Bitcoin. I am not really a fan of altcoins these days so the idea of staking is out of the question for me already.
Whenever BTC gets back, I usually sell a little bit then wait for another correction then just do another entry and redo the same process all over again.
It is simple in my end but quite lengthy process.
1148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dumb plan? on: June 09, 2022, 09:56:05 PM

Bad idea for newbies into general investment and they should be reminded over and over that because it is cheap does not mean that it is going to yield them higher returns. It's a common and obvious trap for those who are still doing their initial investments into crypto.
They might back away without even getting to know in-depth crypto stuffs.
1149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your opinions about fan tokens? I'm thinking to invest in them on: June 09, 2022, 09:53:59 PM

Hey, I really appreciate your time clearing it up for me.
Google results for me were just all shilling random tokens, so I just never bothered looking it up further.
I guess from the definition of it, the hype really plays major role in these tokens since it is almost about being a fan of football clubs. I am not really a fan of football clubs, so I don't think I would be able to even look further for any of these tokens.

Thanks again for clearing it up for me.

1150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your opinions about fan tokens? I'm thinking to invest in them on: June 09, 2022, 07:53:02 PM
What is even a "fan" token? It is the first time I heard those kinds of stuffs and I am not sure what do they even mean by those.
Some mentioned here that it has no utility at all, so I would say that it's like those meme tokens we already got today that is so super-saturated that we don't need more of those and more like we don't need meme tokens in crypto.
I wouldn't think of buying that token, sorry.
1151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you spread BTC to people within you on: June 09, 2022, 07:48:53 PM
~
Just be careful on who you tell your crypto to. You don't want them sniffing through your wallet from time to time, since probably they know how a single Bitcoin costs right now. I would choose friends to share my success with, since back then I was backstabbed by my old friends. Good thing I cut my connections with them already.
1152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Depression Starts in Cryptocurrency Anytime on: June 08, 2022, 09:39:12 PM
~
Maybe you should take a break for now in crypto there, bud.  I've been there back in 2017, and it just kept hurting me mentally day by day until I just took a month away from crypto and decided that I should just find some other things to distract me, because in the end, the loss I had is still a loss in the end and there ain't anything I could do about it.
Led me to somehow a numb mindset, but good thing I was able to think slowly and rationally after the break.
Depression along with stress commonly lead someone to decide with haste and no rationality.
1153  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The most unique topic you found on the bitcointalk forum? on: June 08, 2022, 09:33:01 PM

Inputting credit card info really caught me off-guard during that time not gonna lie, although I was aware that no information was collected there. Cheesy
That one was hilarious af.
The recent April Fools Joke which was the IQ test was still worth the mention as well. Cheesy
1154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should newbies Invest in new Projects on: June 08, 2022, 07:12:18 PM
Investing into new projects is good, but here also we have the choice to choose the right one. Very few get lucky to choose the right one, whereas majority land into some random projects. Some projects used to have big expectation, during the pre-sale a large participant gets queued and a very few gets opportunity to invest. Such projects mostly gets listed within few days time and gives good return.

Newbies can invest on bitcoin, apart from this can go for altcoins and new projects. Such a diversified investment needs to be encouraged than concentrating on a single cryptocurrency.
Sometimes it's....not. Choosing the "right" one is difficult considering how many coins are out there to just money grab someone and rug pull or just run away with their money.
Even with diversified investment, it won't help. Maybe it would if some portion of your portfolio were in the top coins in CMC.
1155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest mistake in crypto? on: June 08, 2022, 07:08:22 PM
Focusing too much into altcoins. Sure there were a lot of opportunities for me due to tremendous amount of coins out there, but in the end, many ended up to be just a shitcoin. I am not into hyped and all that kind of shit, that is why I really regretted in these decisions as an uninformed individual back then.
1156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel when the market is downtrend? on: June 07, 2022, 09:43:40 PM
~
Think of it when you're still about to buy Bitcoin and it is in its bullish trend and you had bought a .xxxx number of Bitcoin but then few days later you realized that it just went bearish so sudden. That would make someone surely regret their decision and wished they waited for the bearish market.
Maybe some people back when Bitcoin was around 64k are now happy that they were able to buy quite a lot of coins.
1157  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto scam increasing on social media on: June 07, 2022, 09:40:38 PM
The funniest to me is that scam is not new on social media, but it is becoming commoner and the scam on social media regard crypto is increasing, definitely all other scam are increasing on social media. When social media is not a place of privacy, why not require for ID documents for better KYC procedure than focusing most only on exchanges
It's true and even non-crypto related scams are still there such as those referral scams that would just waste your time endless while they claim that you could earn $20 instantly (even though that is just a small amount).
About the KYC, consider what happened back in "Facebook–Cambridge Analytica data scandal". Maybe no.
1158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Let's talk about your next crypto portfolio for 2025 on: June 07, 2022, 08:04:56 PM
~
When? Right now as long as you're looking for top altcoins in the market. It is a bearish market right now and everyone should take the opportunity of the low price.
25k? No one knows, but I have doubts on that. It seems to recover quite a bit to 30k as of writing this.
For the plan, I am all for Bitcoin right now and earn from the returns.
1159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Modernizing old projects on: June 07, 2022, 08:01:52 PM
....but then again we could still find some good ico projects that can be rebuilt and transformed to fit into the current dispensation.
Maybe OP, but it might be hard to find one nor get back the interest of some devs to get their feet wet again due to how bad of a reputation was ICO back around 2017. Those days were still amazing not gonna lie and I would go back to those glorious days if I had to for those ICOs. Too bad that scammers/scumbags brought the market into crap.
1160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Modernizing old projects on: June 06, 2022, 09:37:11 PM
~
Yeah, OP. You might be overthinking it too much. Sadly many altcoins now are seen as shitcoins due to how short some coins last in the market and sometimes you just gotta suck it up and accept it. It is an unpredictable market in the end plus it is the nature of it so there ain't much we can do about it.
Expect the same for the succeeding years, like another carbon copy of these NFTs claiming to be the "NFT killers".  I even remembered some user in the other thread claiming that if those coins he mentioned are "Ethereum killers". Cheesy
