721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Constant wins in the casino for several days, then constant losses. Noticed?! on: September 02, 2023, 05:10:30 PM
Most of the time the casino takes the money. But when the winning session comes, on this day many slots give you a solid win, it is impossible to lose. This successful session can last several days.
As soon as this ends, absolutely all slots begin to take money.

How do you win and lose?

I think you are mistaken with this.

I do understand that there may be days where you experience consecutive wins in a single night. But do remember that losing streaks may happen also. There is no "pattern" like what you are saying but this is the very nature of the gambling experience on itself- sometimes you win; and sometimes you lose. It is now up to you on how you would take advantage of your winnings and prevent them from losing in a single betting experience.

To conclude, gambling is all about luck and chances. There is no absolute result where a series of patterns is pre-determined by the system.

722  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What does it take to play casino? on: September 02, 2023, 04:31:38 PM
It must have capital Cry

However, which one should you be more dependent on when it comes to making money from the casino!

Is it really good luck for you?
Which basic technique to use?

At the end of the day, the best way to win at a casino is by practicing discipline and management of funds.

Remember that casinos are businesses- meaning it is primarily designed for profit on the side of the owner/s. With this in mind, expect that its rates may be favourable on the end of the owners even if luck is the primary determining factor in the games.

Whenever you gamble, always gamble only a portion of your money. If you chase for profits, then expect to experience more losses than wins especially if you attempt to be greedy. If you experienced a losing streak, do not attempt to gamble again by recovering such losses. Instead, call it a day and try again in some other time.
723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is horse racing so unpopular here and a bit of extra feedback on: September 02, 2023, 03:50:09 PM
I do think that one of the factor that makes horse racing not as popular compared to other prediction games/sports is due to its somehow outdated game. People would rather watch sports or other kinds of relatively new sports than horse racing. Though I may be bias due to the fact that I have no experience in this field, but I think those reasons are what stops me from actually exploring/trying this field.

I remember when I was a kid, I visited this gambling house where a group of people were watching a single small television with horses racing. Whenever a certain color or number wins, some get mad and others rejoice.

Maybe one of these days, I would actually try or consider horse racing but as of now, it is off my radar.
724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: presuring someone into Bitcoin investment on: September 01, 2023, 06:30:15 PM
Like you said in one of your thread that you invested in Bitcoin since 2017 and you pressured your mom to invest in Bitcoin two years back that is 2021 I think so, I believe with out you pressuring your mom to invest in Bitcoin two years back I believe with your achievements as you claimed your mom will see it and invest in Bitcoin, anyway is a pity that your mom doesn't trust you as she think that you will fraud her of her money.
Please next time you want to tell person about Bitcoin don't force the person because the person will think that you are a scammer just as your mother did.

I remember, there were similar posts such as this one where people were trying to compel others to learn and invest about BTC.

Remember that this applies to anything- trying to compel someone to learn about a certain subject can result to failure if they are not 100% wholeheartedly invested. If you try to compel them in investing into something they are not keen to begin with, you are just pushing your own ideals to them, without the latter fully understanding on what they are investing on.

Instead of forcing people to learn and invest about BTC, just initiate the topic about them. If they start to ask questions and curious, then that is the time where you can start explaining to them about cryptocurrencies.

Being a new member of this forum, I will like to have more clarification and advice, and I will also like to know if there are any PDFs or any sources that I can be directed to study more in order to not offend the law of the forum and avoid any penalties or having my account banned. I will be glad to have many pieces of advice for other members of the forum.

Check the pin threads on this board to check all the official rules and guidelines in this forum. In addition, you can also utilize the search bar function found on the upper right hand of the forum should you have any questions/inquires regarding a certain topic.

Most of the rules in this forum are simple enough to follow. If you think that what you are doing is wrong, then your intuition is right- avoid all means of plagiarism and avoid integrating chat GPT replies on threads as this will contribute to spamming.

As such, welcome to this forum! You will definitely learn a lot during your stay here and may your cryptocurrency journey start anew!
726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rant: Casinos should hire people who knows about what they do on: September 01, 2023, 05:08:20 PM
So, I'm working on casino reviews and sometimes I'll be forced to reach out to a specific casino for information. Especially, when it's not listed on the casino website.

But in 9 out of the 10 situations, I've noticed that these customer supports don't know anything about the website, but why are they working there?

Just today, I was asking the support of a casino why the sportsbook section on the casino website is redirecting me to another platform and he doesn't understand what I mean.

So please if you're a casino owner here, hire people who understand simple things about gambling. This is not good for business at all!

I guess that these customer service representative was purely hired in dealing with matters relating to their scope. Though this may be the case, I do agree that they should at least be knowledgeable about all the basic and fundamental interfaces in the gambling platform they are working on.

As such, this should somehow spark a red flag when it comes to the management of the gambling platform. If they hire anyone without providing them the basic skill and understanding of their website, then it implies on what kind of management they have.

Better avoid it at this early stage and look for another gambling platform is this were to happen!
727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Behaviours of gamblers you dislike. on: September 01, 2023, 02:52:52 PM
What is the one behaviour you noticed in a gambler and  you dislike it? You don't need to have a reason for disliking it but you just do.

As for me I dislike when gamblers complain of their losses, meanwhile you hear them complain when they are getting winnings.

What about you, what do you dislike ?

One of the things that bother me is when a gambler is very boastful and rude at the employees. Sure, they may face extreme pressure due to losing so much money on their gambling spree but that cannot justify their seriously lack of proper decorum in the casino.

I remember, I witnessed this person who was very desperate to the point that he approached multiple loan sharks for a loan. After I noticed that he lost his money, his behaviour started to become rude, to the point that guards had to escort him outside as he was bothering everyone inside.
728  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚠️ Warning: Bons.com - Disturbing Practices, Unfair Fees & Manipulated Reviews on: September 01, 2023, 12:37:04 PM
Reviews can be bought to change the legitimacy of the casino. So don’t always rely on reviews while choosing the casino. Moreover to be honest I never have heard about the casino. I am just wondering, how did you get to the site? These type of sites attract users by tempting promotions, and once you deposit money, your account gets blocked. So always try to play in casinos with good reputation. Else no one will be blamed other than you for the loss of money.

I do think that in order to genuinely know the reviews of a certain gambling platform, this forum has the most impartial reviews from all the forum users.

Like what was mentioned, reviews given may be bought in order to conceal the shady practices of a gambling website. Again, do not trust any review site UNLESS it came from this forum from any of the trusted/legitimate users here.

In conclusion, it is normal to rely on the feedback given by some third-party review site regarding a certain casino. But in order to be more sure, you can always post and ask the users here in this forum to give an extra layer of security. Better safe than sorry!
729  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has your Responsible Gambling had any of these Effects on You? on: August 31, 2023, 07:36:23 PM
But my question is, could this be happening to everybody? Has your responsible gambling habit had any positive effects on your relationships with your spouse, kids, parents, and others? Has it improved your finances and helped you stay out of debt? Has it improved your mental health and well being in anyway? Has it been able to help you meet an urgent need? Let's discuss.

Oh definitely! Not only did my responsibility and choice saved me money, but it also prevented me from causing any impact to my relationship with my family and peers.

From what I have gathered, gambling is an act which can cause potential damage if a person becomes addicted to it. By being addicted, the person loses their rational ability to decide and to think clearly, which ultimately leads to poor decision making and management of funds. Like what most have mentioned also, gambling may result to a strained relationship with your colleagues and even your family.

I am lucky enough to have avoided the pitfalls of what have experienced and it is mainly due to threads such as these where people continuously share their horrific experiences.
730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can money be saved in gambling sites? on: August 25, 2023, 04:36:41 PM
OP! You have chosen the wrong board. You should transfer your topic to the gambling discussion child board. Now coming back, why would anyone save their money in a gambling wallet? The purpose of the wallet is to instantly use the money for gambling purposes. In my opinion, unless you gamble daily there is no point in keeping crypto or fiat money in a casino's wallet.

In addition to what you have posted, leaving any funds on your gambling wallet can put your funds at risk for potential loss.

Remember that the more you keep in your gambling wallet, the more reason for the gambling platform to discover any kind of fraud that will make your funds impossible to deposit. That is the reason on why majority have suggested to move your funds to a different wallet as soon as you receive them in a gambling game.

There have been several instances where people failed to move their BTCs in gambling wallets which resulted to some being tagged as a person who have violated their rules, when in fact, they did not.
731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: History of Gambling From Ancient Times to the Digital Age on: August 24, 2023, 09:48:10 PM
Unfortunately not all gamblers are into this industry's origin. There are just players who are here for money  but we cannot blame them from doing so. History qould tell us that gambling is jist for recreational purposes and it is just our risk-taking and greed which developed it into something that would make it more interesting to the majority. Even with the kind of games being played, development also occured and that is to cope up with the rising interest in this industry. I'm sure not all gambling games are covered in books 'coz anything could be gambled of as long as there is a consequence and opposing idea. Gambling itself is a broad terminology.

I agree with you but reading posts such as this one makes this board more interesting.

There are several threads talking/discussing about the "gambling tips" and other related stuff. Very rarely do we see a post discussing anything related to the history and origins of gambling. In general, these kinds of threads is what makes gambling interesting since you mentioned that it is a broad terminology which can cover all aspects which may/can be related to gambling.

In conclusion, the scope of gambling and the topics that are relevant to it is broad- anything can be discussed and almost everything is interesting!
732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CHESS] FIDE Candidates Chess Tournament 2022 on: August 24, 2023, 09:33:53 PM
This first match of theirs is a sight to behold. Draw on Move 35 is just something massive for Pragg, but a little impactful for Magnus. He can't afford getting more draws now if he's shooting for a higher rating which he is. Anywho, ratings not considered, while Carlsen is still not in his prime focus considering that he's sick during the entirety of the match I think both will be able to put up a good fight in the process. Pragg is feeling the pressure but he shouldn't let this get to him if he wants to take the top spot. Carlsen, the man who always have to prove himself will as I said in the past, do Magnus Carlsen things. Next match is coming soon and I hope they bring the same level of performance in the board if not better. Future's looking bright for Pragg!

If you are talking about his goal of reaching a rating of 2900, then this is nothing more than a fantasy. According to the results of the FIDE Cup, he added only 3.8 points to his rating and now it is 2838. I'm sure he won't even go over 2850.

As I said, Pragnanadha turned out to be weaker on the faster time control - he lost time and was inaccurate in the endgame (the game he lost with White). It's a pity, but on the other hand, it's good that in classical chess with Carlsen, many can play on equal terms (almost, hehe).

Caruana finished in third place and guaranteed himself a spot in the 2024 Candidates Tournament.

I was watching the whole game and it was pretty even until the last few minutes on the clock. With the black pieces, Magnus was able to snatch the victory against Pragg who blundered a pawn on the last few minutes. I do agree with you- Pragg was struggling to keep his cool when the clock was ticking down. Though that may be the case, Magnus still converted it into a win, playing all the accurate moves and being up the clock until the last moves!

Still, congratulations to Pragg for being able to qualify for the candidates next year- I cannot wait to see him in action against the Super GMs in the candidates.

Also, props to Fabi for winning 3rd place on the match! Abasos also deserves praise as he experienced the tournament of his life- finishing 4th and being able to defeat several GMs who are above his level.

733  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to smell fraud in projects and detect Ponzi schemes from far as a Newbie on: August 21, 2023, 05:04:34 PM
High APR and APY is surely something which makes it a complete scam and fraud, I have seen that's the only thing which attracts users to buy shitcoin and then stake it for like months.
And within days, the developers are on the run with their money and the funds are still locked in a stake. This is a common trap and the most used way to scam people with tokens in Crypto.

I agree with your statement.

As someone who used to report ponzi-schemes and scams across this forum, majority of these threads are poorly made and their website lacks all the necessary information that can make it genuine. In addition, high interest rates in a ridiculously short amount of time can spark the curiosity of others but this is 101% a scam.

Beware, however, that there are certain threads that promote various projects that may look genuine on its face but a scam on its heart.

For example, some threads that I previously reported show a seemingly complete list of a full team with matching pictures and linkedin profiles. Unfortunately, what they have posted are fake pictures that are AI- generated. Though this may look obvious to me, to some who have yet to encounter this kind scheme may surely be tricked.
734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CHESS] FIDE Candidates Chess Tournament 2022 on: August 21, 2023, 04:12:50 PM
Magnus is (so far) the favorite against any chess player. At the moment, Magnus is number 1 in the FIDE rating, and Ivanchuk is 66th. The difference in ratings is 163 points, which implies an 80% chance that Magnus will win, and given that this is not a separate game, the chances are close to 99%. It's just math, no disrespect.

Yup- I understand completely and I apologize if my tone sounded too harsh. I do agree, the difference in rating is really staggering given that we are in the era of chess engines but Magnus can still defeat Super GMs as if they are nothing. I guess what really separates him is his endgame skills and mastery of the game.

Magnus is obviously Magnus. You will rarely see him actually getting defeated, losing to Duda was also a big exception that we saw, but yes Abasov will be pretty happy on this, playing candidates is in itself a big thing for him. If it would have been before the quarters of Pragg vs Arjun I would have said, Fabi will take it. But Pragg played so well in tie breakers in quarters I doubt it'll be easy to take him down. It'll be a big test of Fabi and even a small mistake can cost him the ticket to finals.

As much as I want Prag to win, I do want to see a finals between Fabi vs Magnus; like they are re-creating their 2018 WCC where both Fabi and Magnus drew all of their 14 games with each other. What really made a difference is when they switched the time format from classical to a faster time format (rapid + blitz) where Magnus dominated Fabi.
735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I can’t cope on my own. What do you think I should do? on: August 21, 2023, 03:37:55 PM
According to the channel free games are limited and we can only enjoy for a month and now the month is almost over and only VIPs will be entitled to games when the month elapses. I have been having doubts whether to join the VIP zone because I don’t want to be scammed that’s why i want to know your opinions.

What do you all think i should do?

Buddy, I think this is the time where you should reflect and decide on which path do you really want to invest it. Surely, your experiences tell you that something is not working. Even if it may work in the future, you just have to accept that your losses may probably more than your winnings. Worse, it may even accumulate more in the process, thereby making you stuck in that very position.

Ask yourself- what do you really want to do? Do you enjoy gambling due to the adrenaline kicking; or do you gamble for profit? Such answer will depend on what path you would choose and even if you decide to stay, you very well know that things are not working.
736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I will pass KYC later is a bad idea on: August 21, 2023, 02:59:01 PM
Submit your identity and wait for approval, do not be in haste to make deposit first, because the identity you submitted without a green approval from the team can still be rejected, take your time to get the passed approval first before proceeding with gambling.

Upon reading the title of this thread, I was ready to disagree but upon reading the actual context, it really does make sense.

I wholeheartedly agree with what you have mentioned. If there are casinos that offer various bonuses/rewards with the pre-requisite of KYC, then everything should be faithfully complied with. If a gambler immediately deposits money/resources without knowing this fact, their respective accounts may be held against them without any given explanation or cause. The fact that a person does not submit any KYC documents when the gambling website requires them to do so makes these people at risk of their account.

That is why- if anyone plans on investing in a gambling website, then follow all their regulations and rules to avoid any conflict in the future.
737  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CHESS] FIDE Candidates Chess Tournament 2022 on: August 20, 2023, 05:31:35 PM
Hey guys- what are your thoughts on the game between Abasov and Carlsen?

The match ended a few hours ago and I cannot help but to give Abasov a huge congratulations for reaching this far in this tournament! By far, this is probably his greatest run ever yet, defeating Giri, Vidit, and Peter Svidler on the FIDE World Chess Cup 2023. I really think that he has a bright future ahead of him as these matches skyrocketed his classical rating to around +2700.

Well, Magnus doing Magnus things when he grinded out the game into a draw with the black pieces against the London System opening, thereby securing his spot in the finals!

For Fabi vs Prag, their match ended again with a draw and the tie breaks would happen tomorrow- who do you guys think would win on this match?

FUN FACT:
FIDE is the only tournament where Magnus has YET to won. Last 2021, he lost to Duda in the semi-finals and I really think that Magnus is hungry in winning this tournament!
738  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What should we see bitcoin as? on: August 20, 2023, 05:11:59 PM
Bitcoin as a source of income or as an investment plan, which is better?

Why not both? Why not view it both as a source of income AND as an investment plan in order to fully maximize its potential?

BTC can be considered as a source of income especially when you offer your services in payment for BTCs. For example, dozens of campaign signature offer services that pay a person BTC depending on your forum rank. Also, there are some services that require some special work/activity in payment for BTCs.

As an investment opportunity, by basing it also purely on its price history index, you would observe that the potential of BTC to increase its price on the market is significantly high. Given that the next fork would happen this 2024, it is really recommended for people to HODL their coins and sell them at a value AFTER the fork.
739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can everyone in the world have bitcoin. on: August 20, 2023, 04:48:21 PM
My question is that is it possible for everyone to have bitcoin with the number of limited supply of bitcoin ?

I mean, it is statistically possible but in order for this to happen, every person would own like a significantly small fraction of BTC (e.g. 0.000001 BTC) on their wallets which is not possible but definitely not feasible currently. In addition, lots of people lack the access to basic internet services which would render this plan impossible for the time being.

Even if there is a limited supply of BTC, this does not stop anyone from owning it. With forks happening (last fork happened 2017), the denomination of BTC being rewarded to miners gets smaller and smaller, which makes BTC more expensive as time passes by. This is also the reason on why it is heavily recommended for users to at least store some BTC for long-term to take advantage of this system.
740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Typical scenario when you are losing on: August 20, 2023, 04:27:25 PM
Most often when you are losing, you'd be eager to get back with how much you have lost. In order to get that back again, a player would be needing to gamble but if that's not your day you'd just make the losses bigger. This instance simply shows how emotions could take over your cool as a gambler. Losing is indeed expected but since no one wants to, then frustrations would happen or take place, which could also be a root of addiction. But to some, they do manage to not be frustrated and to still have hopes for a better betting outcome the next day. And some are even playing with other gambling games to losen their emotion and frustrations.

I actually call this the "cycle of gambling" where a gambler would have to gamble again to recover his losses, thereby losing more in the process.

This kind of cycle is somehow difficult to break. When a person loses in a gambling activity, the initial reaction is to quickly recover the losses through gambling again. Very rarely do you encounter a person who stops gambling after they incurred a loss. Majority of the people I know (including me) suffer from this kind reaction.

Personally, I mostly rely my gambling sprees in a coin flip. Before I gamble, I used to toss a coin and vote whether I should gamble or not; though regardless of the answer, I still gamble. But if it lands on tails (tails = NO) and I still continue my gambling activities, mostly I incur more losses than wins.
