It was hashing before only at around 70Gh, then i upgraded the firmware and now nothing:(

ok what are you trying to mine?  And if you are solo mining then you know that the new Version of CGminer that that uses gets your hashrate off the Shares accepted by the pool and you only get accepted shares from blocks you find when solo mining |

BUT wtf!!
Then why doesnt it fail over to the backup pool?
Are there any other pools that xiangfu doesnt like that i should be aware of?

It has similar low DOA rates to Antminers. And that's saying something. Can you please quote the specific words xiangfu used and where he used them? |

The single module has the interface you plug the main connector , pcie and EMS from your psu (ATX power supply) to power it. Hi guys! I have two Avalon 290Gh modules, bought them recently. Mining with Raspberry Pi. Now one of avalons stopped working - one LED inside is constantly on ( third one from the left). Funny thing is - when I switch USB connectors ( I mean this things) from one Avalon to another - problem is following connector, and another Avalon stopping. I'm sure about my PSUs, tried several of them. Can the problem be in the USB connector itself? |

Hi, My avalon wont mine once it a while even after a soft reboot. The only to start mining is to switch off and ON again. Any ideas? Tried updating the firmware but still the same https://i.imgur.com/23XZEW9.jpg |

Hi guys! I have two Avalon 290Gh modules, bought them recently. Mining with Raspberry Pi. Now one of avalons stopped working - one LED inside is constantly on ( third one from the left). Funny thing is - when I switch USB connectors ( I mean this things) from one Avalon to another - problem is following connector, and another Avalon stopping. I'm sure about my PSUs, tried several of them. Can the problem be in the USB connector itself? Yes it can be the connector I have seen this happen also |

Hi folks, I recently bought a 200gh avalon miner on eb... After recieving it, I plugged it and it ran perfectly, then I left home during 3 days. During those days, I monitored my box and after 2 days I noticed that my hashpower was divided by 2, meaning one of the two modules was down. For information, in order to decrease the HW errors I underclocked. Back home, I tried to restart the box without any success. So I opened it and I discovered that one of the modules was burned. I cleaned up the pins, underclocked the system, re-plugged with a clean one and restart and it burned my fingers... So I shut everything down. I also had to fix a network issue as the RJ45 was broken... Once re solded, I re ran the system and it worked well without thermic issues, so I put it again on line but after a couple of days, I had the same issue with the burned plug... Is there a possibility that my PSU is unconsistent or something else... Any ideas ? Question for yall, if I buy just a avalon3 module .. can I run it on just an ATX psu & rpi as controller?
I dont need the rackmount case right?
Im confused cuz I dont see where the power plugs into he module....
Also, anyone purchase from ehash.com? (avalons supposed direct store)
The single module has the interface you plug the main connector , pcie and EMS from your psu (ATX power supply) to power it. I remember reading on this forum someone bought a bunch of GEN3 avalon stuff and it was like 2/3rd the hashrate at double the power consumption vs what it was rated. I want to try ordering a single module, but not if its that horrible. Also, is ehash.com reliable / fast shipping? |
