Yeah there are issues I have one that went offline for 7 hours - The other 3 were fine - Each pointing to the same servers on the slush pool shares reporting as being submitted. Still offline I switched it over to LTC for the time being.

лyчшe любить и пoтepять, чeм никoгдa нe любить вooбщe But glad BTC prices have somewhat stabilized! PS: For those who use CGMiner or BFGMiner, a guy in these forums wrote an awesome miner monitoring program. I use it to automatically monitor for sick GPUs, miner crashes, and I auto-restart my miners every 24 hours. This way, I might be provisioned a different pool server in case one goes wonky. http://manotechnology.blogspot.com/p/cgwatcher.htmland here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=185553.0

What is this? My miners have been chugging along without a hiccup; no downtime. Why am I getting shafted here? Normal for Slush this days...

I disagree, there hasn't been a block miscalculation since the one everybody went berserk about exactly one week ago.
block=start_time,duration,reward,hashes,luck,difficulty,confirmations 235160=2013-05-08 15:13:44,1:27:14,0.00000096,9167,1.34,10076292,100
Since then people have been reporting the slightest variations as problems - when it's perfectly normal to have some variation - based on your own luck and the pool's luck as a whole.
Where people are reporting zero payouts, they are showing that they have submitted no shares - meaning connectivity issue - not block calculation issues.
I think Slush is monitoring from afar (I don't blame him for not coming on here with all the bitching going on) and long may it continue. Connectivity issues should be kept separate from the block miscalculation issues (which seem to have disappeared as I say).

Hi there,
Now, that I am the proud owner of an ASIC miner, I joined slush's pool two days ago, because I was very satisfied last year, when I was GPU mining (slush's was my very first pool at all).
Until now, I worked on roughly 30 blocks and also got a reasonable amount of BTC as reward, but only two blocks were rewarded with NMC. On the others, the NMC reward is "none". Does anyone know the reason of this?

NMC only works on getwork and slush is depreciating getwork, hasn't worked on NMC stratum integration, and doesn't believe in it either. What kind of ASIC miner did you get? Pics or it didn't happen!

Hoping Japan complains. Japan friendly nation to USA. Grabbing funds of Japan company in USA act of war. USSA already 12 wars at once maybe being unlucky having 13.
USSA going do something bad by money like Argentina, not want citizens owning alternative kind money?
The good ol usa BETTER keep its nose out of everyone else's business. It is a failed wanna-be empire/world bully that is in it's death throes lashing out at anything it can't control absolutely. I'm for one am sick to death of it. WHAT has happened to my country...

Hiya I have made the very first version of MineMinder available here: http://fileshosting.co.uk/files/MineMinder_1.0.0.0.exe.7zNot sure if I need Slush's permission to call the API but I have limited the refresh to 10 seconds minimum for now. It's very simple, it just looks up my wallet address on loading (for ahem donations but nothing mandatory:)), then you can put your APIToken in the top and click refresh or enable the timer to refresh for you. It requires the DotNET 2.0 framework. Any problems and I'll try and monitor here for now. If it's worth it (and if anyone wants it) more features to come. Cheers

Not sure if I need Slush's permission to call the API but I have limited the refresh to 10 seconds minimum for now.
As a pool operator, I would recommend making the auto refresh interval measured in minutes, with 1 being the minimum. Most people will run this in the background and rarely look at it, so having constantly up to date information is just adding load to the web server+database without much benefit. It's one of the reason most pools removed/never added live refreshes on their websites: Most people will just leave a tab open and forget about it.

Would be nice if slush added a anti-refresh measures. And maybe some other api for "vip" clients, if they so want. If you want to constantly spam refresh - consider a little donation. Or even funnier method - your current round reward diminishes with every refresh by 0.005%

Here's what Bitminter is doing. 1.5% donation to activate instant payout. 0.5% donation to activate API.
