No its not just you, and when I do try to throw a new address in, the website returns 404 and then I get an "Under maintenance" screen.
I'm sure you are working feverishly, I shall make a sacrifice to the gods for you to have success.

Common guys, it's not configured yet. Be more patient, please.

Confused, the pool is up and running at 350 Ghash/s. I'm happy about that. Payouts will come later. I am only using 165 mhash/s for myself, so it isn't that much anyway.

Ok, I think I'm done. Anybody see any issue in mining?
I'm sorry guys, but payments must wait, I need some sleep. It's 6am here and I don't feel so fresh after 9 hours of intentsive work on pool setup.

Last few weeks were really crazy. It started with merged mining hacking, then DDoS attack, cancelling linode, finding another provider and migration from Xen to VMWare. And finally debugging that strange disk issue and migrating from VMWare to bare metal. Of course with very long and painful outages, but sometimes many weird things happen at the same moment.
Now pool runs nicely, actually the server is idling for current hashrate. Everything I wish is to have pool stable for some time, because I simply need some rest.

Great job. A 34 hour block wasn't fun. But it will be worth something, but not to me, all of my shares were submitted before the crash. I bet scoring provides me little on that round.

tinmann: I'll recalculate all those blocks affected by outages with proportional method. You're right that score method don't work well when miners cannot submit their shares. So I'm sure you'll have something from those blocks, too.

slush, hats off to you for your effort and final success in bringing the pool up. i hope you don't get upset about the unhappy campers that complained about non-payment during the downtime. you will notice that there were only a few of them versus a LOT more people who showed their patience and supported you. it's bad mining strategy if someone hasn't set up their miner to fall back to another pool in case of downtime and it's not your fault if anyone has lost any amount of mining time due to this reason.
kudos.

Once you learn how to use cgminer I guarantee* you won't ever use anything else.
That is so true and more people find that fact out each and every day, only to wonder why they hadn't made the switch to CGMiner earlier... omg ... why didn't I try this earlier? Thx for the info.

Hmm, gave it a try Result: Doesn't work so well for Windows users .. apparently it was able to read GPU frequency and fan rate, but not to write it, so all the smart controls weren't working .. Back to MSI Afterburner+GUIMiner

Back to MSI Afterburner+GUIMiner cgminer works like a charm for me on Windows 7 x64 with and MSI R5830 Twin Frozer II, it automatically switched to deepbit when Slush went offline and now it seems to have switched back to Slush. On that note, welcome back Slush ! Thanks for all your hard work !

Back to MSI Afterburner+GUIMiner Works just fine on Win7 x64 w/ 3x5970s (my watercooled workstation). The rest of my rigs are linux coin usb key. I have noticed any difference in performance between Windows version and Linux one. The again I don't have Catalyst or Afterburner installed so maybe something caused a conflict.
