According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in
Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it
will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Coincidentally, I tried to do the same this morning, and got this as well. Every submission got "H-not-zero". I was mining from another computer using an extra Block Erupter.

This is a bug in cgminer that was fixed by their team in 3.9 or 3.10.

Ok I have an odd question. If I run BFG from the MuM folder and save my config from within BFG, when I then launch MuM is it using the config I saved in BFG? I had fooled around with my BiFury in BFG like that clocking it to the top with BFG getting 6.8gh/s with lots a huge error rate and accidentally saved the config in BFG. When I fired up MuM it clocked to 6.8gh/s just like in pure BFG. ??

No and in fact MultiMiner will detect config files, warn about them, and delete them as they interfere with some of the settings within MultiMiner.

This is a bug in cgminer that was fixed by their team in 3.9 or 3.10. I was running 3.8.5. I'll test it with a newer version later tonight. Thanks for the assist.

Just downloaded, running on bitcoin no problem. I like that it grabbed the shared config from /roaming. I thought I would have to export and import settings between version folders. So far it is performing just like the previous version (have not played around at all). I figure since I am just installing mm for the first time anyway and learning how it functions, If I come accross any bugs/issues I can report them as well. Is there a help/getting started for people new to this program but familiar with cgminer/bfgminer etc? So that I do not waste time on simple newbie issues, like a tutorial?
I have a blog post but that's about it currently http://blog.nwoolls.com/2013/12/11/bitcoin-mining-on-windows-multiminer/It's pretty light on details but may help. There's also a FAQ that another user started in the readme: https://github.com/nwoolls/MultiMiner/blob/master/README.mdIf anyone feels like writing more documentation I'd be happy to merge pull requests or link to blogs etc. wonderful, much thanks. Thank you for the links. I usually just jump in and learn as I go, so far so good. I am just manually switching pools (which is considerably easier and more efficient with your program than it was closing bfgminer or cgminer and running a .cmd for each pool) at the moment until I get everything figured out. Only thing I noticed so far that is buggy, is I am running 4 ants and 2 bes on this comp, when I switch between coins, one BE has been stalling and I have to manually restart to get it to show up (sometimes two or three times) this was not occurring with the previous version (.41) So figured I would let ya know.

That's actually exactly why I made it originally. I got tired of managing a small army of batch files just to switch different devices between different pools and coins. Let me know if the other issue persists - nothing mining related should have changed in 2.5. It was more internal changes to the app itself.

Obey-kabey folks! Version 2.5.1 of MultiMiner is out featuring: MultiMiner Remoting Enable MultiMiner Remoting in the Perks dialog and enjoy the following benefits when running MultiMiner on multiple rigs: - Monitor hash-rates and profitability for each rig as if you were using it locally
- Control rigs as if you were there - start, stop, change coins, Quick Switch, toggle Dynamic Intensity and more
- Configure rigs as if you were there - change strategies, export and import coin configurations and more
- Monitor the global hash-rates of all rigs in your network
Additional changes include: - Added a button to immediately start mining to the Start Mining on Startup countdown
- Dynamic Intensity is now also disabled when the user disables Automatic Dynamic Intensity (under Settings > Advanced miner settings)
- Donation wording clarified on the Perks dialog
Thanks everyone for your feedback during the 2.5 pre-releases! There is much more in store for MultiMiner, MobileMiner, and MultiMiner Remoting. Happy mining

The various 2.5.0 builds have been going on for the past week. They were pre-releases / preview-releases to hash out any bugs. 2.5.1 is the first public release of 2.5. But yes I'm fast

Cool. I have my BiFury back at 5.8 working great. It was weird. Ok I have an odd question. If I run BFG from the MuM folder and save my config from within BFG, when I then launch MuM is it using the config I saved in BFG?

Any chance for a small program from Windows so we can remotely monitor our rigs when NOT on the same network? I have them on another internet connection in the same house. At least for us that have payed the MobileMiner fee to enable notifications, etc.
I have to rely on my phone to get notifications and I dont always have it with me or some times its just on silent mode.

everything is fine with the BE on this one, just on that last one was there an issue (not the .4.1 either) also figured out why it wasn't working to switch, I had omitted the coinwarz api but switched to coinwarz instead of coinchoose *slaps forehead* Now it is happily switching between the single most profitable coin, I am monitoring it for any issues though. I haven't figured out exactly how to set it up so it mines multiple coins but only if they are all more profitable than bitcoin etc. Just gotta play around with the settings some more. Got it stable, got it switching. Happy camper. Now to switch on the donate mode cuz you earned it. Great program, happy I finally decided to try it instead of dealing with the army, as you said. I had recently migrated from cgminer to bfgminer with the acquisition of some ant miners and plans to get more. So that army was turning into a headache to rename and do small edits on the .cmds etc. Anything to organize in this fast moving bitcoin world is appreciated. Hell I may add a few more coins to the mix in case they shoot up, now that the process is streamlined.

Here it is with almost all of my rigs.. I've got two separate locations, so that's the reason for two different windows with different rigs. Love it so far, and can't wait to use it to its potential!

It's minor but I wanted to get it out before 2.5 got too widely deployed. Helps keep the donations going - I do appreciate it if anyone running 2.5.1 can update to it when convenient.

hmmm, since updating when coins switch sometimes they do not register as switching (the api switches, and the listed pool does too, and hashing moves to assigned pool for coin etc) granted I am kind of obsessively observing and tweaking things. Got it to switch exactly how I fancy etc, doing multiple coinsover btc value and a single coin if it is better than 110% But it seems when it switches on its own (without me restarting it) it will list the last coin/coins while mining the new one. I thought it was malfunctioning on switching, but it was switching, it was just continuing to list the previous coin. It does update the mining pool info. 9 minutes til strategy check, so if it switches again iwill observe and report back.

Thanks for that - I'll enable Auto-Mining strategies myself too and keep an eye out. I appreciate the heads-up. As I said a lot of things under-the-hood changed in 2.5 so that representations of the data can be sent to other instances (for MultiMiner Remoting), and this could easily be an oversight.
