I could care less about the dev "donation"/fee.

@Claymore: Just, PLEASE, release source code so we can port this to linux/unix!
(or port to linux yourself, and I'll happily give you 5%)

I decided not to do it myself because it would take too much time, but I found a person who can do it. Right now we are discussing it in details, I hope Linux version will be available soon.

hopefully some speed increase's for both linux and windows as well lol Cheesy

Would you mind explaining more about your setup? Are you on 14.4 ? I'm having troubles getting stability with my r9 290s on this miner.

I used the -r feature, but even that will fail to restart my miner correctly which makes me think I have some system config off. I have page men set to 16700MB and I get OpenCL thread error on GPUs eventually.

MinerProxy v0.51
https://mega.co.nz/#!vBNn0aBB!gSFpDvJGa3gVonT4i230eXHPDnCe72s_sozSnq9sPhk

Added failover support. If the pool does not response in the given time, proxy will switch to next pool in list

If you want to pay Claymore for his miner, don't use it.

This is my last post about the proxy in this thread.

i have been using 4.2 with nofee:1 option
i used proxy to see: no dev fee paid anymore
hashrate did not drop atall, seems like a fair move from claymore

Periodically miner wrote:
RPC call of "submit" returned error: -16, message: Slightly stale share and RPC call of "submit" returned error: -15, message: Unknown job id
What does this mean, is this normal?

Actually appear Proxy events give me to see a change, look forward to is the miner to the GUIl interface, not merely to DOS interface.

We don't expect to open source, but very much looking forward to interface is simple and powerful, isn't it,?

I have -r 60 set, but I'm seeing WATCHDOG: Thread 2 hangs in OpenCL call popping up. Shouldn't the miner restart from that?

Claymore: can you add a manual intensity variable? Or is it too much of a hassle or hard to fine tune?

I'm curious, do I have to add my username and pass for each pool in my pools.txt file?

Thanks

from "hisory.txt"
v3.2
---------------------------------------------------------------------

- Added minergate pool support.
- Added "main pool" - miner will try to use main pool every 30 minutes.
- "pools.txt" file - now you can specify login and password for every pool.
- current pool address is displayed for every new job.

Hey,

since a couple of days I am getting this error:

AMD 14.6, Claymore version 4.0.
hashes at the pool seem to be only 2/3 of what they were before.

I am getting this on all rigs, not just this one.

Any clue? thank you.

We are rewriting the vardiff code.
We want to optimize and automate the difficulty sent to the miner.
The problem is now the estimation of the hashrate. We tend to report lower hashrate.
On the other hand, we find much more blocks so it's not that bad...

Claymore: can you add a manual intensity variable? Or is it too much of a hassle or hard to fine tune?

Yes I will add it in next update (1-2 days).

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.
