v4.2 low power ONE r9 290 = 150watt good job claymore

Would you please share the software which offers energy consumption in watt & VRM Temp ? I have never seen such software & very much interested to know it's name Smiley
I don't think it's built in with TightVNC.

Any one else have watt meter to see how much new version draw from the plug for different cards?

BTW guys, what setting would you recommend for mining on Windows in order the PC is not to be slowed down too much.
Right now, at full force (450 h/s on 280x) even basic web surfing is delayed. I can live with 300-350 h/s.

Thanks in advance.

Do you use latest version, i.e. v4.2?

Yes, 4.2 on 14.6

Anybody with a 7970 video card?
Would you share what hash gives you.
I am using windows 8.1, driver 14.6 3 x Sapphire 7970 = 1440 hash
Is that good or you better.

I don't have much knowledge about mining but 7950 and 7970 are not too different GPU power wise. Your value seems alright I think, could maybe reach 500+ per card though.

I ask because the same card and a window, but with driver 13.12 I had a 1576 hash.
Maybe I need to go back to the old driver.

I do not know why, my 7970 graphics card than 280X speed is much higher, which is illogical and unscientific. 280X is not optimized yet?
PS: 7970 450H, 280X 370H

comes down to memory type.
hynix 280x does 525h/s
elpida 280x does 370-390h/s

I think it is the optimization problem

i have 2 sapphire 7970 dual-x, one is oc edition, other is not.. together they get around 910h/s
and that's overclocked as far as catalyst will go, not nearly as far as when i was mining x11/x13 stuff, i would run the memory at 1775

I wonder who sell at such a low price on this great hardships.
This may be only our developer with 5%
For him it is easy coins and he does not care what they pay for electricity.
If you do not stop soon, this and other coins will be dead.

From Poloniex:

24-hour Volume: 109.12446579 BTC / 31623.90270325 XMR

I'm not going to sell coins for such low price, but I'm curious: do you really think that I can change exchange rate for such volumes? Moreover, do it every day? If so, you need to check your math again.
Or may be you think that I have tens of thousands XMR? Or you just want to find someone who can be blamed that exchange rate is low? Of course it's me! If rate is good - it's not me. If rate is low - it's me.
Another example: I never sold my QCN at all, but its rate is bad too. Yeah it's me, I killed QCN too!  Grin

Not even I think Claymore has that much XMR lol

12 mh/sec*0.05(5%)=600 kh/sec
600 kh/sec = 1120 XMR (24h)
1120*0.0037 = 4.144 btc

Claymore: can you add a manual intensity variable? Or is it too much of a hassle or hard to fine tune?

Yes I will add it in next update (1-2 days).

any news of any speed optimizations with the next update at all?

I think I will put some further optimizations in next update, though they are not for all cards.

Could you please help to support dashcoin cryptonote in next version? In 2 days, Dashcoin network hash is 77kh now

Difficulty is increasing. So we need GPU claymore for mining dashcoin

I like your math! Smiley Unfortunately, I'm far from 4btc per day. Try to think why, if you like to calculate money in my pocket. It's not a complex task, but requires a bit more efforts than formula 12mh*5% Wink

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

Another CN coin? May be it's a good idea not to release GPU miner for it at all because I kill all coins? Smiley

You are not killing, you help us

Do not care what some people say, may be envious

We must wait for Claymore 's help.

XMR, BCN, ..., Aeon hash rate is to high to mine for good profit. We need to mine in dashcoin cryptonote with the hope that higher profit.

v5.0 is available:

- +50% speedup for 6xxx cards, use "-a 3" mode.
- Improved autoselection for "-a" mode.
- Added "-li" option for low intensity mode.
- Added Dashcoin support.

Agree with you. ACN must be trade on Bter or Poloniex or another big Exchange, I think the ACN price will up to 0.5$/ACN.I never sell my coins before i see it on Bter or Poloniex.
