2101  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Reminders to all Crypto Lovers on: November 07, 2022, 08:22:49 PM
It’s clear that if you are dealing with P2P trades there is already a problem. I do not remember many times in my life when I sent someone money just directly, it is very unlikely that I will do that too. Yes, there were a few times when I did it with small amounts, like 20-30 dollars or so but that really doesn't bother too many people in a world where billions are scammed each year.

So, maybe fix the problem from the bottom and just do not give people your money directly? If you do not do that, if you don't deal p2p, then it means you can't be scammed, it’s a guaranteed solution for what you have and it will definitely help you in the long run.
2102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 07, 2022, 07:09:19 PM
It’s really shocking to me that people reacted to Juventus bad start way too much, it was overestimation of how "bad" they are, it was just a bad start with a new roster mostly and they will of course get better soon.

Secondly, they are already doing better, it's similar to United which started badly but now doing better as well. Juventus was the team that oddmakers said could win the title, so let’s not forget how good they really are and just did not play that well at all but have the ability to do so. At the end of the day, we are going to see Napoli probably be the champions, and Atalanta probably second, but Juventus has the chance to be third.
2103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I want to ask, at the end of the bitcoin and altcoin year, will the price go up on: November 07, 2022, 06:41:40 PM
Everyone is hoping for the same thing, we have no idea if it will or not, we are hoping that it will but even if he doesn't that’s not the end of the world. We could just hope for it to do better but that doesn't mean we should be upset about it.

I am telling you that the best thing to do right now would be making sure that everything is going "okay", because if it goes ok and doesn't just crash further, then we could just collect more from here, and then sell when it goes up. Everyone is focusing too much on just the profit part, but they do not focus on how they can make it. Yes, you can make profit when it goes up, but you need to buy when it's low to do that.
2104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Sentiment Poll for November on: November 07, 2022, 05:44:00 PM
100% for sure it's already in. ETH already gone down as much as it could, from here on out we are not going to see a new bottom. Do not mistake this with "it will go up a lot", I am not saying that, maybe the price won't go up too much but we can't really have anything that is much lower. I just do not think that anything bad could happen in the crypto world that would be crashing the prices anymore.

Whatever suppose to happen in the bad ways already happened and crashed the price, from here on out it is going to be just pure profit. This is of course a terrible risk for me to take, because if it does drop, then I was wrong and I will lose some money.
2105  Economy / Economics / Re: TSMC says efforts to rebuild US semiconductor industry are doomed to fail on: November 06, 2022, 04:43:00 PM
It is of course expected TMSC would say that it’s doomed to fail because if USA achieves this then it would be their end. Why would USA need them if they can build their own chips? Which is what they are afraid and this is not just being afraid of business results, it also means that if USA and Europe could provide their own chips anytime they want, then in a case where China attacks Taiwan, why would anyone care?

If Taiwan is only one producing the chips then everyone would care about such a war because they want their chips, but if they all build their own chip factories then nobody would stop China from attacking Taiwan and that is why TMSC doesn't want that to happen.
2106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 06, 2022, 03:03:04 PM
Arsenal is doing fine, they are winning games and that's good for them. However, the problem for them is the fact that City is also keep winning games as well. Which means the point difference is still within just one game and that's a dangerous thing for Arsenal. The moment they have like 2-3 bad weeks they are totally out of the championship contention all over again.

There is nothing that they can do about it neither, they are winning games like they suppose to, the problem is City is doing it too and that is not a thing Arsenal can stop. In any case, if they keep on winning, then in that case they will win more than City, they should not lose any points until City does, it's very important.
2107  Economy / Economics / Re: Is long-term employee retention a losing battle? on: November 05, 2022, 09:05:42 AM
It is not something they can easily fix, because while one tries to fix it, the other does the same as well and it doesn't get fixed. Like let’s say you start to pay more, then the other company will pay more too, and that employee will end up leaving anyway. You could give benefits, good hours, less stress, but if you do that then the other companies too.

Plus, if you keep on trying to make your workers happy constantly, then it would also create a price situation and products will cost more, and you will not be preferred, which would cause a trouble in competition. So, this is not a problem that can be fixed, just look to get more new workers, focus on getting better at finding new workers, instead of keeping old ones, because you can't.
2108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Group Stages on: November 04, 2022, 09:12:22 PM
All the teams that worked hard during this group stages must be cursing their luck. Look at all the teams that are coming from UCL as well. At the end of the day, there will be a blood bath when you get closer to it, it’s going to be a bit of a superb thing that we could have a lot of fun because it is going to be a lot of great teams and a lot of great matchups and we are going to have a lot of fun with it.

I am not saying that it’s going to be this team or that team but I can say that it’s going to benefit the viewer. And that is what football is about isn't it? You may win or lose, but if the fans are having fun because you are here, then you already did something great anyway.
2109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: November 04, 2022, 08:42:02 PM
PSG vs Lorient will be a good game as well, I do not doubt that PSG will destroy them nevertheless but Lorient was the closest team to SG just a few weeks ago, a few draws and a loss caused them to drop significantly. I am guessing that PSG will not lose to Lorient at all.

I will not be gambling of any other game in Ligue 1 this week, I will have bet that is purely PSG win, and another that I combine with other leagues and PSG will be in there (from teams like City will win and Real will win all inside one bet) that should be more than enough. I do not think that any other game has any worth in it, people are free to try, but they are just too boring with how close each team is, even the top ones are way too close to nearly bottom levels.
2110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 04, 2022, 06:44:32 PM
There is a bit of time left till the games start, we can still consider what to do before we do it. City is an easy guess and will be an easy win, Arsenal should be able to beat Chelsea if you ask me, Liverpool seems fine enough to beat Tottenham, United should beat Villa and lastly Newcastle will probably will beat Southampton as well.

These are the games I am looking at right now and will probably wager. I am not saying that you should gamble the way I gamble because I am not some sports genius selling games or something, I lose as often as I win, but this is probably going to be what I am going to wager personally, maybe I will be right, or maybe I will be wrong.
2111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Algorand A good buy or Not? on: November 04, 2022, 06:06:32 PM
Too many people on reddit believes in it, but that doesn't mean that it's going to be any good in the future. This just means that it’s going to be liked by many so there is a hype and community around it. Reddit fell in love with Nano as well back in 2018 altcoin run, and you can see how terrible Nano is doing right now, I bought so much and now it worths nothing.

So Algo is a bit like that, there is a hope for it, there are a lot of people who hope a lot from it, and there are eyes on it that watches every single move, all of which is a great thing for any project but that doesn't mean that it’s going to be any good, it could also end up doing terrible as well.
2112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you watching Online Gambling Streams? Short survey and discussion on: November 04, 2022, 04:33:42 PM
Yes and no. I do watch them if there is something huge going on, like some event, something not to miss because there has been stuff where Drake gave out 500k type of events, and I wouldn't want to miss that, maybe I would be the winner of some huge amount? Who knows. But at the same time no, because I do not watch them as a hobby or free time thing, if there is nothing going on, just a regular streamer gambling is not something I would like to watch.

There needs to be something I could personally gain from it, that would be a reason why I would watch something like that, otherwise I wouldn't watch it if there is no gain for me in the end and it’s just a streamer having fun by himself.
2113  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you like commission job or salary base job? on: November 04, 2022, 02:23:22 PM
The middle ground of this is people like me who have a freelancer job that has been going on for years. I mean this doesn't really stop each other, you could be at home, get a freelance job, and keep working for that like a salary based on how much you work. Imagine journalism, you write for newspapers right?

The more you write, the more you get paid, so you have incentive to work harder, and if you can write 24 hours a day then you would do that, life sometimes gets in the way but you could totally do that if you could. This is why I believe that it's quite important to face the fact that freelance+monthly income could become something together if you can find that job.
2114  Economy / Economics / Re: Brexit: Rejoining EU takes record 14-point lead in latest poll on: November 04, 2022, 08:43:21 AM
The problem is that UK people thought that EU was doing badly, and UK would be better without EU, but in reality, while EU was doing badly and Brits were right about that, not like UK would do any better without them neither. This is a lose-lose situation and understanding that is a very hard concept. If they stayed or rejoined then it would be bad thing for them, if they stay out then it is still bad too, there is no correct answer here, they are all wrong answers and will result with bad things.

I know that feels quite pessimistic but that’s the reality we are living in, EU will not save UK, and they won't save themselves neither and that’s it.
2115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the bear market over? on: November 04, 2022, 07:19:31 AM
I don't know what the comment is saying, but I can answer for the topic name itself and say 'yes'. People are forgetting that bear is not really going on, it’s doing fine and this stable price is not bad at all. If you look at the price and not realize that it has been the same price for a while now and that’s a good thing, and you could have accumulated so much during this time and that’s a benefit to you, then you do not know how to invest.

The best kind of investment is to wait for it to get to a point where you would do fine, and I personally believe that we are doing fine, if that’s not the case then I do not know what to do and that would be hard to figure out.
2116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your reason for investing in NFT? on: November 03, 2022, 09:18:11 PM
I was playing a game (sort of like axie infinity) and it was played with NFT, so I bought one and played the game and I disliked it and sold it back again.

It was some racing game, I forgot the name of it but you would be using matic to buy the car basically, then that car would be your NFT, and then you would race with it but the game wasn't good at all, I mean it was good in the sense that how it looked was okay, definitely good enough levels, but the fact that controllers were hard, so when you turned it would be hard to turn exactly how you should, which is a HUGE problem in a racing game of course, so I gave up and each try cost me money so I didn't want to keep practicing to be better by spending 10 bucks a day.
2117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: November 03, 2022, 08:59:42 PM
In la liga, there is basically just one thing that you could do and hope that you will be winning by the end of the year. You wager that Real and Barcelona will win every week, you combine the games into one parlay to win bigger, and then you hope that by the end of the season they had more wins at the same time then non-win results so that your return would be higher.

Some season that works very well (same with city and Liverpool works very well too) and some seasons it's not. For the past 10 years I have a friend who does it (I have been doing it very recently) and it did worked out for him like fifty fifty so far, not a bad method to gamble.
2118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: November 03, 2022, 08:20:11 PM
I am trying to get hyped about the potential matchups, but the football world has been quite the same for a while and I am not really feeling any type of amazement possibility from the upcoming games.

PSG is great, so is Bayern and Real and Liverpool possibly, City too, and I do not see any other possibility. Sure, there is a chance something like Chelsea winning could happen, it happened just one year prior, and those type of shocking results do make me have fun with football all over again, but until then, it's not going to be really that much of a shock to me to see these big clubs to go up and then one of them ends up winning. Might as well PSG or City so they can finally take a breath.
2119  Economy / Economics / Re: Biden Administration Wants To Make It Easier To Seize Crypto on: November 03, 2022, 07:08:05 PM
I still do not believe that Biden vs Trump thing is real, I believe that there are people who control USA and these people are just speakers, they do not really have a power over anyone. However, what I believe will happen is that Biden administration will fail this, they may want it, but they will not actually be able to do anything.

I feel like the best thing to do would be making sure that it is going to be a hard thing to do and if it’s hard to do then it won't be a problem because they are going away soon anyway. In a few months senate will turn republic, and that means everyone will block each other and nobody will be able to do anything.
2120  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for November on: November 02, 2022, 09:14:32 PM
It is good to see the optimism instilled in people all over again. Too long have people doubted the possibility of bitcoin going up and making all of us a lot of profits. I understand the doubt because it has been over a year since we reached the last ATH but that is how long it takes to get back there.

Remember last time we reached ATH before that, it was 2017 December, and by 2018 October we were 6.5k or so, and dropped to 3k harder in November 2018 as well, so after a year it didn't not only recover but also dropped further. This means as long as we are here, we should be happy and accumulate more and have high hopes that it will eventually recover and go high.
